Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 65

As we proceed through the second year of these open posts, it's pretty clear that the official narrative is cracking as the toll of deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccines rises steadily and the vaccines themselves demonstrate their total uselesness at preventing Covid infection or transmission. It's still important to keep watch over the mis-, mal- and nonfeasance of our self-proclaimed health gruppenfuehrers, and the disastrous results of the Covid mania, but I think it's also time to begin thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries. 

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before: 

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here. 
 
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue. 

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religious, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules. 

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

If anyone is looking for a supporting claim to back up censorship a good example I've found is suggesting people look up World Council for Health via google and seeing how many attempts there are to steer a first time searcher away from the results. What I think is clever is once you have navigated through the roadblocks to discourage you it is no longer an issue.

But I was very surprised the first time I searched it to have the autofill push wikipedia to the top of results, to have the WHO appear at the top of the list of results, and a misleading Global Health Council alternative appear.

I was simply trying to search the site like I would any other, using autofill suggestions if they seemed to line up and I felt like I encountered several roadblocks and checkpoints that would let me move on to the next step or ty to redirect me. But only on the first try, afterwards it was fine.

The wikipedia article is also incredible. Like any credible encyclopedia would open with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Council_for_Health

Medicines are even cheaper than that in India. I am on medication (totally unrelated to Covid), and I take a low-intensity dose of a generic drug every night, as prescribed. There are ten pills in each strip (I have to take one every night), and the cost of two such strips together is still a little under USD 1.00.

Hello all, just re-posting this as it was very late in the week's cycle on the other thread.

Hello, on the topic of sustainable medicine for the future, please can anyone in the JMG commentariat help me with this?

I am looking to find out what a family doctor would have had in the way of a home laboratory setup in a village surgery in the first half of the twentieth century. From historical fiction and the resources I already have (home nursing manual and pharmacopeia from the era) it seems there might have been say a surgery attached to a family home of the doctor, and there might also be a practice nurse and a midwife who lived in the village and shared the practice, and the health care team might do some lab tests in the surgery. In a town there might also be a pharmacist/chemist's shop which would prepare and supply the medicines needed, and in rural areas that dispensing would be done directly from the surgery.

So, some electricity, probably: battery torches, lamps and so on at least for inspection and procedures.

A gas or stove top autoclave for sterilizing equipment.

A light microscope, glass slides, and typical staining materials.

Probably a bunsen burner, running from a gas bottle, and test tubes and reagents for the tests.

What tests would this team be doing?

Full blood count I can think of, what else? I know proteinuria is important for detecting pre-eclampsia -- there's a bit about the tests here including that one based on heating is a valid test https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK705/ so that's another for my list, and it could be I will carve out my next slice of hobby time getting hold of that text (Clinical Methods: The History, Physical, and Laboratory Examinations) unless someone advises a better one.

What kind of stains would have been useful for village scale diagnostics?

Interesting question.

Simply growing cultures of bacteria taken from a throat sample and the like should be doable and worthwhile.

I guess it might be doable to grow and harvest antibiotics like penicillin. Same goes for keeping phages around. Not sure there but probably very worthwhile if at all possible.

Detecting poisonous substances comes to mind. Heavy metals, radon, mushrooms, berries and all the things.

In the novel Cranford, a bunch of old ladies with meager incomes have to sacrifice the last of their stores of candles and oil for lamps to allow a night-time emergency surgery to take place. So maybe a bicycle on a stand for recharging batteries, or powering a really bright bike lamp would be good to have on hand?

The latest round of SARS-CoV2 "super-variants" seem to be causing rather limited and unremarkable waves of infection that are already receding across Europe and Asia, and that have not yet taken off (if they are going to do so) in the US. (http://91-divoc.com/pages/covid-visualization/) The jury is still out on whether they represent a step up in virulence/severity from BA.1/2/4/5, but if so it appears to be relatively minor.

Meanwhile, other seasonal illnesses are getting off to a roaring start, especially RSV with flu cases rising fast. https://syndromictrends.com/

Last week someone posted some data from the mRNA vaccine trials indicating that they may increase RSV incidence in children - which could well be contributing to the current wave, or especially to the more severe cases ending up in pediatric hospitals. RSV is an interesting virus in that multiple attempts to vaccinate against it in the past have resulted in worsened illness, in one case raising hospitalization rates from 5% to 80% (https://academic.oup.com/aje/article-abstract/89/4/422/198849). So it is clear that tweaks to infant/childhood immunity can worsen this virus, and it remains to be seen whether the current covid mRNA vaccination is one of those tweaks.

(News flash: Pfizer is developing a new whiz-bang RSV vaccine [although not mRNA] that is specifically given to pregnant women and could be approved by the end of the year, and that is of course totally safe and effective. Overall, it looks to me like - unless we have some real surprises - the spike protein-vascular damage-blood clotting-sudden death-neurological issues-autoimmunity-excess mortality-"let's call it long covid" story of delayed vax toxicity exacerbated by negative efficacy is going to be predominant over acute infectious disease concerns this winter season, with no obvious signs yet of GVB's oft-predicted ADE disaster.

The latest round of the virus is indeed subsiding and had in my country only a somewhat higher rate of hospital admissions that the previous wave (at first I thought the difference was larger but at the crest of the waves the difference was not that big).

Your assessment in the last paragraph seems seems spot on. It seems to me that issues surrounding weakened overall immunity and disability could also be asking for attention this winter in addition to your list.

It's strange this slow moving fiasco and people getting their sanity back one by one like Ben Shapiro this week. And yet I'm a bit unnerved still, like from the stories of the strange bloodclots or dying brain tissue. So much doesn't make sense still but perhaps I'm just picking up on some astral crud or something. Only time will tell...

"Larry, I want to clarify a few misconcepts in this article. I understand it was written by a layman and the human immune system is particularly complex. I am a PhD Immunologist and spent the majority of my career designing and/or testing vaccine candidates or bio-threat agents for the US Army. The Army is interested as soldiers deploy to areas where zoonotic (animal) diseases are located and we western peoples have no immune response against them. Usually these areas are also poor so there is no financial incentive for Pharmaceutical companies to develop treatments or vaccines against them. These are known as “orphan” drugs and only the military has the need and resources to attempt to develop countermeasures against them. Some like malaria are very serious health problems of the world but not interesting as they would not be profitable hence the military’s need to pursue them. We also are the point of the spear for bio-weapon vaccines as well for similar reasons.

There are several strategies for vaccines against various organisms and viruses are a bit more difficult as they actually work by incorporating themselves into various target cells in the host. They circumvent the normal protein production and hijack the cells into making copies of the virus and the cell stops operating normally becoming devoted to this new task and never reverse back to normal. This results in the release of vast amounts of viral particles which in turn infect more cells and so on. Some small pieces of the virus remain on the cell surfacer and can be detected by lymphocytes through a process of epitope sensing (each lymphocyte has a receptor hat reacts specifically to a particular very small area of protein that is exposed). If enough particles are attached this way the cell becomes stimulated and results in a cascading effect and expansion of itself which once it gets started results in a massive immune response. These lymphocytes excrete a variety of cytokines (cellular hormone like substances that can effect the host in many ways such as induction of fever by IL-6 (interleukin – 6 is a type of cytokine). There are many different cytokines and many different kinds of lymphocytes as well as many types of macrophages. The released viral particles eventually stimulate an immune response that is weak and non-specific and results in the production of antibodies by plasma cells which are differentiated B lymphocytes. As the immune response matures the antibodies move from IgA to IgM and eventually IgG. These antibodies can punch holes in the host cells infected by virus and kill them. It takes many antibodies to accumulate for this to happen and it involves another arm of the immune system known as the complement system. The complement cascade results in holes in the cell that cause the cell to leak out all its internal contents and it dies. The T-cell lympocytes that expand in response to the infection eventually become established in lymph nodes as T-memory cells and remain dormant until the next time the host is challenged by the virus or its near neighbors again.

The strategies for vaccination start with attenuated live virus or near neighbors that don’t cause disease The next strategy is killed or damaged (irradiation is one method) virus mixed with substances that invoke a strong immune response (adjuvant).The Chinese vaccine was using the latter strategy. The next is to try and determine what proteins evoke the best immune response. This is known a as sub-unit vaccine and is the most typical method used as in the influenza vaccines. It is very difficult and time consuming to determine what proteins need to be used to invoke a specific and efficacious immune response sufficient to eliminate the virus quickly. Normally, this part takes several years and numerous animal experiments (usually mice) to screen the candidates out and determine the best adjuvant and dose. In more recent times it has become standard to clone the DNA for the small 6 amino acid sequence necessary to mimic the epitope that the T-cell will sense and put it into other viruses such as the adenovirus. There are thousands of adenoviruses but this has been fairly well standardized. The problem arises that the host will also develop immunity to the adenovirus as well so it is of limited use once used.

For COVID-19 it was determined (maybe guessed?) that it is the spike protein that gives the best immune response and several strategies were used to develop the vaccines. The safest are killed virus, moving to adenovirus vectored and finally to this nutty idea of using mRNA to induce an immune response. The latter has never been used before and IMHO was unnecessary to move forwards with this strategy. I was against this for several reaons. It has never been used before and there is zero animal or human long term safety data. Yet, the FDA decided to move forwards with this. The main problem as i see it is that the mRNA, much like a virus, becomes incorporated into the host DNA and can be incorporated into any cell of the body where it begins to crank out small amounts of protein, in this case a small subunit of the spike protein. As we know the Spike Protein is very toxic but it is not understood why this is so and what part of the pike is actually toxic. Putting this into humans was shockingly risky and worse our Congress indemnified both Moderna and Pfizer from any subsequent lawsuits.

I have several additional concerns. The first is the candidate vaccine was announced by Moderna 3 weeks after the Chinese sequenced the virus in January. WTF??? As I said this takes years to work out yet they had it done in under a month? It then bypassed all animal studies and the FDA approved it for use in humans with zero safety data whatsoever. Let me tell you as a person who spent 40 years making vaccines it is never this easy and it requires a minimum of 10 years to get a vaccine licensed, Just getting to the Phase 1 safety trial takes at least 10 different animal experiments in 2 species of animals (usually mice and non-human primates) which is very expensive. Most vaccines die at this state of approval in the pre-candidate meeting at the FDA. Yet, these 2 vaccines were streamlined without any normal process of review at all. The downstream effects are yet to be seen but I can predict that at a minus cancer rates are going to go up dramatically as there is mounting evidence these 2 vaccines destroy at least temporarily the CD-8 Lymphocytes that are responsible for killing cancer cells. What other effects we will uncover is an open book and will be revealed as time goes on.

The Modern timing suggests they had the actual virus months if not years before it was found in the human population. The burin cleavage site that makes it so deadly is extremely suspicious and would require over 1 million years to evolve under normal circumstances yet we are supposed to believe it developed de novo with zero near neighbors? This is absolutely impossible. Then we have the DARPA proposal which was disapproved but leaked and showed this was the exact strategy that Peter Dazek was going to use. The dollar amount is exactly the same as his NIAID project which remains classified to this day. To me, this suggests he took his rejected research proposal from DARPA and re-submitted it to NIAID and it got funded. The result is COVID-19.

What we don’t know is how it got released. There are 2 possibilities. The first is a deliberate attack on China and I can easily imagine Pompeo and Bolton thinking this was a good idea and some kind of promise there was an effective vaccine. Remember that Moderna is the company that was doing clinical trials in Tbilisi that resulted in so many deaths of research subjects which were never released to the public in defiance of FDA requirements. Clinical trials done in US labs must meet FDA requirements. It is for this reason that Colonel Robert Redfield was forced into retirement rather than judicial punishment for fraudulent HIV vaccine data. He just happened to be the Director of the CDC when COVID-19 happened. His deputy at CVDC was Colonel George Korch the former commander of USAMRIID and former Director of the National Biothreat Analysis and Countermeasures Center (NBACC) who was relieved for cause from duty as the anthrax letters blamed on Bruce Ivins at USAMRIID under his leadership. George was the Sub-Director of CDC for Preparedness when COVID-19 emerged. You can blame him for lack of PPE etc. for the national response (or lack thereof). He was prior to that the Director of Biodefense Research at Battelle Memorial Institute which for those in the know is the place the CIA does its nefarious stuff (search for Project Jefferson). I tie all that together as it indicates a group of medical researchers of suspicious backgrounds in positions of responsibility that would normally be the ones to perform the investigations but are very likely complicit in the actual development and release. Redfield is an MD and Korch is a Ph.D. Entomologist. Fauci as we know is an expert at dodging bullets and has a long history of aggressive behavior as an HIV researcher. Those in the medical research community know well that HIV took over the lion’s share of medical research money in the US for decades and Fauci was the king of that kingdom.

One key thing is that the first case was actually in Italy in October based on serological samples. It happened near Vicenza Italy where the US has a US Army Post. The other fact is that there was the International Military Games Competition (basically the Olympics for the military) in Wuhan in October. Many participants at the games became sick but were never diagnosed with COVID as it actually didn’t exist yet. These are healthy and fit soldiers with zero co-morbidities so not surprising no one became seriously sick. I was a participant in several CISM games myself (skiing) back in the ’80s. The soldiers participating would have wandered around Wuhan as tourists. It is most likely the virus was released during the games. Whether it was an accident or deliberate is the real question. However, I can state categorically that the Chinese treated it as if it were a deliberate attack. I am leaning towards an asymptomatic soldier who also worked at USAMRIID (or was in contact with a researcher from USAMRIID or another institution working with the virus) who became infected. traveled TDY to Vicenza (or was assigned there), traveled to the games, participated, traveled around the city ad out certainly the wet market area, then returned to duty wherever that was. This would have been the infamous patient Zero who to date is unrecognized. Once it got into the population it spread rapidly and the soldiers at the games traveling back to their home bases would have also carried the virus with them. I am only guessing but this fits best with what we saw happen.

Way back D.Orlov said Russia and China initially treated COVID as a bioweapon attack. Russia published evidence of attempts at creating race-specific bioweapons in the US Biolabs that they captured early on in the Ukraine war.

Even with that context China's current zero-COVID policy and lockdowns seem to make no sense, unless you interpret the lockdowns as rotating exercises to reduce energy consumption by other means.

States Not Requiring Covax for School

Reposting from previous thread, since the reply was so late-- but someone asked where to find out which states would not be requiring the shots for school attendance.

Not on Twitter! I tried searching it there yesterday, thinking someone, surely, would have a nifty chart posted by now. But there seems to be a search ban in place on that subject.

Poking around, it's really irritating trying to find it, and I haven't been able to track down a comprehensive list, only individual articles, for which one has to check the date, to see if it was said before, or after, the CDC ruling, plus a bunch of partial lists that don't match up with each other. Arg. Here's what I've turned up in a cursory search:

--Florida, at least, has not only not-required it for school, it has not ordered its health departments to stock it for that purpose (typically, shots on the childhood schedule can be gotten for free at the local HD anywhere in the state), and recommends against it for males under 40 based on the state's own myocarditis study.

Some of these are based on policy that predates the CDC guidelines, simply saying the covid vax will not be required to go to school. It might be good to check up on them and see if they've said anything specific *since* then. I'm pretty sure Texas falls into this category (of having said "no" to all that back when CA said they'd mandate it).

If it's your state, I'd actually pick up the phone and call the local school board and health department and ask!

But, it's also important, if you're looking at where to move, or where to send your kids to school, to also check in with perhaps a local antivax organization in the target state, and see how easy/hard it is to get an exemption. Some states, like TX, allow for philosophical exemptions-- meaning you basically just have to file the paperwork saying you don't want it, for ANY of the shots on the childhood schedule. I'm not sure which other states might have that sort of thing.

In addition, there are several states heading into interesting gubernatorial races in a week (like NY) where the outcome of the election might determine which way the state goes on that issue.

Just to be clear about that Emily Oster article about forgiveness - her point was it was time for the vaccinated to forgive the unvaccinated for not following the rules.

To repeat - she was rallying her vaccinated fan base to reach out to all those unvaccinated family and friends they've shunned and allow them back in to events and family gatherings.

The Global Interweb is looking pretty tangled this week regarding Cooties news. Samples:
• Rochelle Walensky has been out sick for ~11 days with Cooties and to my astonishment took a course of Quaxxslovid so therefore has another Cooties infection; perhaps she took the Stuff to give her more time alone at home?
• The US Dept. of (Mis?) Education Secretary Miguel Cardona has Cooties, and according to one article I read “Cardona is experiencing mild symptoms but is fully vaccinated and boosted”, to which my thought was “Gee, he’d probably be just fine if he’d avoided those mRNA injections” (spread the word…)

• Doctors and nurses no longer have to be vaccinated against Cooties and she said those suspended from work until Dec. 31 because they had refused the shot(s) would be immediately reinstated.
• Meloni accused her predecessors of taking an "ideological" approach to COVID and said she would do things differently. "The previous governments took a host of measures that had no scientific evidence," said Meloni.
• Her government also recommended that fines of 100 euros for people over the age of 50 who refused to get vaccinated should be halted (wow, I had NO IDEA that had been going on in Italy!)

That's the end price paid by the patient. It's actually worse than that. When I first started working in pharmacy, this would have been around 1997, I once happened to see an order invoice that was laying on the accountant's stack of paperwork.

It was for the generic of Tylenol #3, that is, regular strength tylenol with 30mg of codeine added- a common opiate painkiller for after dental surgery. The *wholesale* cost listed: $0.02 per tablet. Yes, you read that right- 2 cents per tablet. The 'standard formula' charge to the patient? Five dollars per tablet.

In regards to what can be done to take our power back in healthcare, I've been contemplating this situation:

- a clearly rabid dog bites a child on their arm
- the dog is killed
- post-exposure vaccines aren't available
- the dog's saliva is taken and neutralized (sunlight or heat exposure, as mentioned in the article)
- the neutralized saliva is used to inoculate the child, specifically closer to their head than their arm (perhaps in their mouth, or as the typical vaccines are nowadays - along the spine)

I am not this kind of scientist, but from what research I've been able to do it seems that one of the issues causing the nearly universal death rate of rabies is that the infection goes "stealth mode" until it is too late. The post-exposure vaccines that go along the spine are to alert the body - would not this crude inactivated inoculation work too?

The greatest show on the internet is the blue checks of Twitter wailing about how Elon is going to charge them $8 a month for their verification badge. Some have made it about the $8 like "poor" journalists (you all work for organizations that could pay for it who are you kidding?) but most of the demented cultural elite who have done nothing but spew hatred again Trump supporters, then the unvaccinated, are appalled that just anyone can get a blue check. They were given those blue checks because of their status you see, without them, no one would be on Twitter (they really are repeating this the last 48 hours).

If I start laughing about this, I won't stop. The meltdown is as good as any in the Trump years. I never thought anything would make them melt down in this way again, but apparently all it took was someone telling them that their precious little blue check was worth $8 and anyone could have it.

Is everyone prepared for things to get worse post mid-term elections? Remember both political parties voted to build a national vaccine database to track injections into people and the electronic on-site monitoring to be deployed. I haven't seen anything to indicate that project was stopped. Once a bureaucratic agency is funded with a mandate to do something, they go and do it. There's no mechanism to stop them.

The people in power want to stay in power and they'll use anything at their disposal to help that happen. Nothing is off the table for them (see everything they did in 2020 and 2021 for evidence).

14 days “down” at the proceedings of Canada’s Public Order Emergency Commission (20 more to go). The week is still young but there are a few nuggets to share.

Monday was the second (and last) day of testimony by the deposed Ottawa Chief of Police, Peter Sloly. There were a couple of gems from the day. The first was rather humorous. Before a live camera, under oath and under cross-examination, Sloly was asked by a lawyer if on a particular day he said about a particular officer that if a report of the officer was true, he would “rip off his [unmentionable body parts] and use them as bookends”. Those in attendance had to stifle their laughter. Of course, Sloly denied ever having said that… the interesting part was the way he answered the question – it seemed like he may have remembered the ‘[unmentionable body parts]’ part but not the ‘bookends’ part! Very Jerry Springer-esque!

More seriously, the main lawyer who has been representing the truckers (Brendan Miller) has been very clever in using “Easter eggs” in his cross-examination. These “eggs” may not be all that relevant and may not even get much information out of the witness, but they very effectively rip the façade of civility off the face of the authorities. One “egg” from last week was video footage of Feb. 19 (the day that police retook the streets of Ottawa) which clearly shows a protester being snatched by a line of cops and thrown behind the line to be “processed” via violent assault with the barrel (not the butt) of a rifle. [note: this was broadcast live, unedited; such video footage was never shown to the public via the State-controlled mainstream media] Monday’s “egg” was the transcript of a text exchange between a communications ‘wonk’ in the Prime Minister’s Office and a similar wonk in the office of the Minister of Public Safety (Marco Mendicino – who may ultimately be the federal ‘fall guy’). The exchange, which happened in Jan 24 (four days before the convoy arrives in Ottawa) is about how to set up the messaging of the protest-to-be as a Canadian version of America’s “January 6” (but not so alarming as to scare off the ‘crazies’) and adds that Global (media outlet) and others are also working on this. The inquiry has produced waves – even in the mainstream media. When I glanced at the Canadian version of MSN Tuesday morning, I’d say that of the dozen ‘headline tiles’, nine of them had to do with the Commission and its recent revelations. And nearly all of the headlines were showing the dysfunction and not-so-pure motives of our ‘authorities’.

On Tuesday, three Freedom Convoy organizers (Chris Barber, Steeve Charland and Brigitte Belton) took the stand. All did an amazing job. Chris’s wry humour shone through, and Steeve amply showed that he was a non-violent patriot. But Brigitte took the cake. She was the organizer of the convoy from southwestern Ontario and although she was very active and popular on Tiktok she was overshadowed by Chris and others because the Western convoy was numerically dominant at the protest. Regardless, when Brigitte took the stand, she was a lioness and the cross-examining lawyers, and the judge himself, were a bunch of toy poodles! This woman is the full human embodiment of righteous indignation: a person whom Life has kicked in the teeth one time too many - but she has never surrendered either her will or her humanity. Blunt, direct, and with blue-collar wit, she sparred with the over-educated and over-paid lawyers using unvarnished truth that literally took their breath away. She had the audience clapping and laughing – so the judge had to threaten to kick all spectators out. I believe that either today or tomorrow Pat King will take the stand. Both a lion and a ‘bad boy’, Pat’s cross-examination should be interesting and entertaining. I am sure that he is dying to tell his story on live unedited broadcast. Another ‘bad boy’ – Jeremy MacKenzie, who has been interred in solitary confinement in a ‘dry cell’ (no toilet) in a Saskatchewan prison for several weeks now (for charges of threatening his ex-wife) – will be testifying later this week. The “father” of the meme-country Diagolon will have his opportunity to show the world that the “dire threat to democracy” that the federal government made him out to be (and an excuse for invoking the Emergencies Act) was nothing but an elaborate joke concocted by a group of inebriated decorated veterans who had too much time on their hands.

Even before Pat takes the stand, it has become clear to anyone who has been paying attention to the inquiry that the federal government and media have lost control of the narrative. They must be in full-panic mode as the “Canada geese” are coming home to roost, flock after flock!

My parents are addicts to the Narratives: they believe in Evil Evil Putin and Saint Ukraine, and the believe in "the (pseudo)science". So I have had an argument with them on the opportunity and securuty of getting boostered soon. I've seen the voice of reason is nothing for them.
They usually are consuming 6 hours of TV per day, that it doesn't help...
I have to share home with them, and I try to avoid confrontation with them, but I'm not so sarcastic to wish them a sudden death soon.

I'm not particularly worked up about the midterm elections--I'll cast my ballot and continue praying for the best and preparing for the worst, the best, and everything in between. But I do find myself expecting that someone will try some bizarro operation or stunt before Tuesday. The Pelosi hammer guy thing is weird, but that isn't it. Biden's giving a speech about election denialism tonight, so I really hope that's absurd and hilarious and nothing more.

Not a great feeling to have. I hope if anything does pop off it will fall flat, with no one hurt and everyone except the partisan cheerleaders just shrugging and carrying on.
