It just occurred to me that my post above probably doesn't belong in the Covid open post. I'm sure most will see the connection between my thoughts here and the general milieu of distrust of the people who managed the Covid mess (and I assume that's why JMG let it through), but it probably would have been more fitting for the general open post on the other blog. No big deal, but I appreciate it when others make a point of self-moderating in order to respect the boundaries here, and I try to do the same!
