We are now in the third year of these open posts. As the phrase "died suddenly" repeats in the mass media like a mantra, statistics for work days lost to illness and all-cause mortality mount up in heavily vaccinated nations, and more and more ugly facts about the official response to Covid spill out into public, we are entering what may well turn out to be the most difficult period of the Covid disaster -- the phase in which denial rises in lockstep with the death rate, and a great many people try not to admit what has been done to them by the people and institutions they trusted. It could get ugly, folks.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before: 

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here. 
 
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue. 

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules. 

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

I wouldn't make too much of it.

From the article:

"[The victim] had a history of a drug-induced weakened immune system which likely contributed to the severity of his illness...[he] was one of only seven reported Alaskapox infections, with the first identified in 2015 in an adult who suffered from a localised rash and swollen lymph nodes. All previous patients...diagnosed with the virus did not require treatment and suffered mild infections. Alaskapox, or AKPV, is a double-stranded DNA virus with officials saying it appears to be zoonotic, primarily circulating across Alaska's state mammals with occasional transmission to humans."

In other words, it's some sort of zoonotic virus that very rarely transmits to humans, and when it does, poses little threat to most people - although, like many infectious diseases, it can be fatal to the immune compromised.

I wouldn't worry about it.

That ad captures the whole myth of progress thing really well.

Science has made a number of legitimate accomplishments over the decades, let's review them (e.g., heliocentric understanding of the solar system, basic surgery, penicillin), and science/medicine will therefore keep endlessly progressing and cure cancer next.

Except it doesn't work that way. Science and medicine have done some things very well but there are limits to what they can do and no such thing as infinite progress. The inability to accept that is the root of so many contemporary problems.

The obvious worry would be some sort of hemorrhagic fever, so why weren't the passengers quarantined?

Realistically, the guy probably had esophageal varicies which catastrophically ruptured (they can do that, and chronic alcohol abuse can lead to that). I gather he wasn't bleeding out of his eyes as well, which hemorrhagic fevers do and esophageal bleeds don't, but I'd sure would have like to have seen some due diligence on the part of public health authorities to ensure they weren't spreading ebola or Marburg fever all over the world.

Rintrah has a pretty interesting take on the phenomenon of excess deaths, and rising rates pneumonia in children, in the Netherlands, arguing that the C19 vexs are misdirecting the immune system, leading the C virus to more-or-less take up permanent residence in the lungs, and to effectively let OTHER (non-C19) respiratory viruses get a pass on taking up residence, sort of like the US opening the southern border to any and all comers (my analogy).

This past weekend the neighbour lady came by selling tickets to tonight's Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner at the church. This is the first time it is held since 2019. It's a charity fundraiser.

She said she's had a cold for two weeks and it's just settled into her sinuses. Her husband; into his chest. She doesn't know how long it will last.

She had no fever, but was still racked with shivers and night sweats. Last autumn we were talking and she said she was going to lie down because she had just gotten 4 vaccines that day and was feeling funny.

jabbed up commie-friend (once upon a blue moon anyway), old dude 96 years old, who uninvited me to coffee at the beginning of all this just got over pneumonia and his partner a flu. Asked me 'how I was.' I was blase with my reality as if there wasn't anything ominous, like a swamp creature marauding through a small town at night.

It's anecdotal but a man in his 40s, a shopkeeper in town, has just died in his sleep. Suddenly and unexpectedly. I search his profile to see if there was any 'I've just had my covid vaccine' and couldn't find it. However, it's likely that this is what killed him even if the official cause of death is something else. It always is, as the vaccine kills in many different ways and people don't want to join up the dots.

This is a long way from being over. People who think they are safe as it's 2 years from their last jab could be in for a nasty shock.

Un-V person at the grocery store I've spoken with when there is a moment or two (rarely) on and off since this all began. I can't help but notice she's been sick for months. I'm thinking shedding the V or simply catching all the 'colds' going round.

So far I haven't been stepping around bodies to get to the store but when that happens other things will ratch up a notch or twenty thousand I'm expecting.

Speaking of the V I was quite surprised to see Pfizer poster-boy, that Kansas City player, erupt and shove (pointedl bump?) his coach on the sidelines.
When he shouted Viva Las Vegas (and America's princess beamed) from the victory stand I thought, 'This guy looks ready to crack.'

On spike shedding

One of the replies above reminded me, I've been thinking about the concept of spike protein shedding. Has anyone found much solid data about the likelihood of this?

I was reading some Internet posts ostensibly by someone well-versed in biochemistry who warned of various mRNA dangers, particularly the threats posed by endogenous spike production considering how altering DNA to make spike production appear as a "legitimate" bodily function to the immune system is extremely dangerous. This person said that shedding is unlikely to pose much of a danger because the amount a foxed person sheds isn't much, the amount another person can take in is lower still, and it isn't a reproducing pathogen like a virus, rather it's just a kind of toxin.

The mRNA alters cells inside the body so obviously the spike protein has to get out somehow in order to be shed. In most developed countries people aren't leaving large quantities of urine, feces or blood in public areas and exposure to body fluids is at a minimum. A person may shed more if the mRNA alters cells in the skin itself so the protein is shed along with skin flakes, but anecdotally it doesn't seem like there are many cases of fox injury affecting the skin. It seems to gravitate to areas with a lot of blood supply like the heart, genitals and nervous system, which makes sense since it's administered into the bloodstream. Are large quantities likely to come through the salivary glands?

After it's shed an unfoxed person needs to pick it up. It has to get into their body through the same barriers that make it hard for it to leave the body of a genetically altered person. It's not as though it can "infect" a person since it's not a complete virus and doesn't have the ability to reproduce, it's a harmful chemical that the body will eventually clear as long as cells inside aren't actively generating it. It also has to survive outside the body until it can be picked up.

Does anyone have a different perspective? It seems like only tiny amounts of the stuff could pass between people given the multiple layers of filtering it needs to pass through. Direct sexual contact seems like the best way to transfer it but many of these purported cases of shedding don't have the symptoms always appearing right after sex with an altered person.

I've formulated a tentative hypothesis as to what is happening, and if it is true, then we're facing a much worse mess than most people realize, even the vaccine skeptics, because the scale of how much the mRNA vaccines affect people is a lot worse. It requires two things exist, which, well admittedly speculative, are plausible: first, is that the immune systems of people can communicate; the second is that the alterations caused by the mRNA injections alter this process in some fashion.

This first point is plausible, given we are social animals; it makes sense for us to have evolved ways to signal to each other what infections we have, what responses our immune systems have worked out, and the like. Given how little we know of how the immune system works, it's quite likely that if such mechanisms exist, they are either unknown entirely or seriously understudied. This would also provide a mechanism for something otherwise bizarre: namely, the immune pathologies witnessed in social isolation, since it's plausible that the immune system requires these signals to function normally. My guess is that this would likely be transmitted by pheromones; we know humans create them, and that some of them play a role in our behaviour; but how, and what other effects they might have, is unknown. Further, a lot of people (myself included) find a weird smell from the recently vaccinated; for me, it's just at the edge of conscious awareness, at about the same level as "hmm, I like how that woman smells".

All this process needs to do in order to trigger some nasty responses in the unvaccinated is alarm our immune systems. Since anything which surprises the immune system likely indicates trouble, the fact that a huge number of immune systems are in a state which, as far as I know, has never been seen before, creating utterly novel responses to a respiratory pathogen, this would be the sort of thing that our immune systems would be on the look out for. Since an excellent survival strategy for any pathogen is to suppress the host immune system, it's possible the unvaccinated immune systems are being thrown into overdrive: here's what looks to our immune systems like a pathogen that has successfully fooled tons of other immune systems into tolerating it.

Given how disastrous that would be (tolerance of a pathogen is quite often a death sentence if it persists long enough), our immune systems react by trying to avoid this, and the result is a constellation of symptoms which match the activation of the immune system as it tries to root out this potential pathogen.

It fits all the facts I know, and strikes me as biologically plausible. Further, since it postulates the existence of a system which scientists have not discovered yet, or not disseminated widely, it also explains why there is no known mechanism which explains the effects.

I have an odd question, but how much sugars, especially free fructose, do people here eat? I've been doing research into this sugar, and realized that there is a case to be made that a lot of the dysfunction lately is the result of excess consumption of it. Simply put, human beings evolved to eat fairly modest quantities of fructose, almost always as part of a polysaccharide (multiple sugars linked together), such as sucrose (glucose and fructose). There is evidence that high quantities of fructose cause physical illness, and there is evidence that it acts as a narcotic. Further, when free fructose was first added to the US food supply in significant amounts in the later 1970s and early 1980s, there was simultaneously a massive cultural change.

The levels of fructose in food have almost certainly increased starting since 2015, when artificial trans fats started to be removed from the food supply. For complex reasons, fructose is one of the only compounds palatable for the food industry to use in large quantities to replace these (everything else being tainted by either serious health fears, hard to store, or expensive). What this means is that around the same time a lot of people started acting weird, the food supply was changed, likely increasing the quantity of a known narcotic; and further, it is those social classes who eat the most processed foods, and thus would be most affected, who were most likely to start wigging out.

Given this, I'm curious if those of us who resisted the Covid panic are significantly less likely to eat fructose than the general public; as this could be useful data for furthering this line of research.

Speaking for myself, I eat very little processed food and tend to avoid the kind that's laced with fructose, in corn syrup form or any other. When I use sugar it's usually plain old sucrose.

Loberg Ector LLP has commenced proceedings in the Ontario Supreme Court on behalf of 20 persons regarding the unconstitutional misuse of the provisions of the Emergencies Act (which was invoked to clear Ottawa of the ‘riffraff’ who had assembled to protest the government’s oppressive ‘pandemic’ mandates). The plaintiff for the case is The Accountability Project – an organization that has been recently created for the express purpose of litigating the be jeepers out of the organized criminals who have taken over the country in order to hold them accountable. Litigation is now possible since the Court of Canada ruled a few weeks ago that the Emergencies Act was invoked illegally.
