Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 195

We are now in the fourth year of these open posts. When I first posted a tentative hypothesis on the course of the Covid phenomenon, I had no idea that discussion on the subject would still be necessary more than three years later, much less that it would turn into so lively, complex, and troubling a conversation. Still, here we are. Crude death rates and other measures of collapsing public health are anomalously high in many countries, but nobody in authority wants to talk about the inadequately tested experimental Covid injections that are the most likely cause; public health authorities government shills for the pharmaceutical industry are still trying to push through laws that will allow them to force vaccinations on anyone they want; public trust in science is collapsing; and the story continues to unfold.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry and its government enablers are causing injury and death on a massive scale. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its wholly owned politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here. 
 
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue. 

4. If you plan on making off topic comments, please go away. This is an open post for discussion of the Covid epidemic, the vaccines, drugs, policies, and other measures that supposedly treat it, and other topics directly relevant to those things. It is not a place for general discussion of unrelated topics. Nor is it a place to ask for medical advice; giving such advice, unless you're a licensed health care provider, legally counts as practicing medicine without a license and is a crime in the US. Don't even go there.

5. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules. 

6. Please don't just post bare links without explanation. A sentence or two telling readers what's on the other side of the link is a reasonable courtesy, and if you don't include it, your attempted post will be deleted.

Please also note that nothing posted here should be construed as medical advice, which neither I nor the commentariat (excepting those who are licensed medical providers) are qualified to give. Please take your medical questions to the licensed professional provider of your choice.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Organ Failure

Hi Guys,
The local fire chief of our volunteer fire department was very big on getting the shots. He kept telling the firefighters that he had just had the latest booster. His wife just collapsed a few days ago. She was diagnosed with organ failure. She has been ill for a few years now and our medicos cannot figure out what is wrong with her... She was taken to hospital and is said to be doing better.

During Covid, one of the Fire Department members (unvaxxed) confided in me that whenever there was going to be a Covid-vaccination clinic on our little island, the fire department would practice for a mass casualty scenario. They would spend the evening and night after the clinic answering calls for heart attacks, people not breathing, strokes, unconsciousness and simple death. This would go on for a couple of days after the Covid clinics. The First Responders would all be out all night. Knowing this, the Fire Chief kept taking the shots and so did his wife who knew all about the mass casualty scenarios. Odd? Yes, I think so.

Some people are trained to accept these deaths as Covid deaths. They know that the shot does not kick in for two weeks (Pfizer told them so). So, what else can cause the death of a person right after taking the shot? It must be Covid, because experts told them about how bad it was.

If you do not believe that human minds can be this irrational, check nakedcapitalism comments especially after ImDoc posts. Even though this experienced doctor tells them that the whole thing is overblown and the vaxxes are untested based on feedback from his trusted students from FDA, the people in the comment section utter their parroted scripts.

Odd, indeed, Maxine. Thanks for sharing this account.

It reminds me of a meeting that I had with a former colleague a couple of years ago, who now works with my city's emergency responders (fire, ambulance). She confided in me that most of the emergency responders were extremely critical of the 'jabs' because of what they had seen while on the job. She was trying to 'square the circle' of this population's views and that being expounded by The Authorities. I assured her the emergency responders knew what they were talking about and should be trusted explicitly.

It's hard to hide things from hands-on people like nurses, fire fighters and cops. They know what's up because they see it.

Yet they get paid by the government. So they cannot be seen to go against policy. They promote policy or will be replaced by someone who does. Especially if they are in a leadership position. A Fire Chief must promote the vaccines, or he wouldn't be Fire Chief.

So, do they really take the vaccine? Less of them do than the general population. That is neither new nor unexpected. When I did a class in medical statistics in the 90s, the professor showed how physicians themselves avoid the treatments they prescribe for their patients.

Maxine, thanks for sharing this. Sad story though it is.

I cannot help but ascribe a lot of this insistence on getting the jabs as some sort of religious impulse, a faith in "vaccines" and "sciences" (really scientism) that was / is impervious to argument or evidence to the contrary. With many of the people I know who took so many boosters there seems to me to have been some kind of performative masochism going on— or, another way to say it, they seemed to relish in a public ritual display of sacrifice. This was not and is not true of many people who took the jabs, I know that, but I saw a lot of people super-duper eager to go not to their doctor but to a big crowded public vax center, and then to brag about it, and rooster about their booster, every dang one of them.
