Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 201

We are now approaching the end of the fourth year of these open posts. When I first posted a tentative hypothesis on the course of the Covid phenomenon, I had no idea that discussion on the subject would still be necessary all these years later, much less that it would turn into so lively, complex, and troubling a conversation. Still, here we are. Crude death rates and other measures of collapsing public health are anomalously high in many countries, but nobody in authority wants to talk about the inadequately tested experimental Covid injections that are the most likely cause; public health authorities government shills for the pharmaceutical industry are still trying to push through laws that will allow them to force vaccinations on anyone they want; public trust in science is collapsing; and the story continues to unfold.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry and its government enablers are causing injury and death on a massive scale. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its wholly owned politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here. 
 
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue. 

4. If you plan on making off topic comments, please go away. This is an open post for discussion of the Covid epidemic, the vaccines, drugs, policies, and other measures that supposedly treat it, and other topics directly relevant to those things. It is not a place for general discussion of unrelated topics. Nor is it a place to ask for medical advice; giving such advice, unless you're a licensed health care provider, legally counts as practicing medicine without a license and is a crime in the US. Don't even go there.

5. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules. 

6. Please don't just post bare links without explanation. A sentence or two telling readers what's on the other side of the link is a reasonable courtesy, and if you don't include it, your attempted post will be deleted.

Please also note that nothing posted here should be construed as medical advice, which neither I nor the commentariat (excepting those who are licensed medical providers) are qualified to give. Please take your medical questions to the licensed professional provider of your choice.

And about the Iranian mask protestor in the Walgreens parking lot— that was a video I happened upon very belatedly, and after wondering for a long time why I wasn't finding more videos comparing covid masks to hijabs. (Now I am more fully aware of the tremendous reach of the censorship.) I had scheduled it for my Substack without any conscious presentiment that Iran would be dominating the news on the very day. (Calling Dr. Jung!!)

I don't usually transcribe video outside the 2021-2023 range, but I made an exception for Nicole, an ardent Christian who stood up and spoke out after Tom Haviland's presentation of his latest findings in Ohio. It's a very short video, only 2 minutes, so I would recommend skipping the transcript and watching the video. One advantage of the transcript, however, is that I provide notes on some of Nicole and her audience's references to scripture which might be otherwise obscure for some people.

Nicole's testimony has prompted me to consider doing a bit more transcribing in this direction, which I had been resisting. I'll give it a label on the index (in-progress) as #METAPHYSICAL/RELIGIOUS/SPIRITUAL

Boy, that was never on my bucket list."

Someone a spine, a conscience, and deep familiarity with the bureaucratic levers of power. And knowledge of where a lot of bodies are buried.

Now vice-chair of the committee that was formerly a rubber stamp for anything called a 'vaccine.'

I’m glad you’re doing this. Improbable as it may seem, I would like very much for the truth to be served in such a way that posterity may know in all its details what an atrocious con was pulled in the name of “health” and assorted shibboleths. To transmit historical records from the ephemeral medium of video to the more archival form of printable media seems to me like a good way to achieve this.

Many thanks, Transcriber B, for all that you have done - and for sharing some of your latest transcriptions! Funny how a crisis (it matters little whether it was legitimate or manufactured) can make some people feel ways they never have before and do things that they had never imagined!

As a person who has done a fair bit of transcription myself (primarily for the National Citizens Inquiry and on occasion for this group chat), I know how challenging the work can be in various ways -- especially when the topic being related by the speaker is absolutely gut-wrenchingly and heart-breakingly horrid!

I am glad that you have decided to venture more into the metaphysical/spiritual/religious side of the Cooties Crisis, as to ignore it would be to leave an incomplete testimony and misrepresent a crucial dimension what was happening.

May you and your work be forever blessed.

This comes after RFK Jr. replaced the people on the ACIP with his own chosen people. Super disappointing from somebody who campaigned on exposing the dangers of mRNA vaccines.

This tells you all you need to know about where the real estate sector is coming from. It’s especially ironic that this upper-class choochie has the gall to complain of “arrogance” on the part of workers.

I notice the comments have been turned off on that video; and of course one can’t see how many thumbs down it’s received. If I recall correctly, that latter policy began right after Biden made an especially nasty speech attacking the unvaccinated - the speech that was swiftly followed by the “let’s go Brandon!” phenomenon.

Lefties have redefined what a vaccine does - just as Big Pharma did:

I'm a bit surprised that the treatment is testosteron blockers. As far as I know in my country that is the first line of defence when operating or radiation won't help (for example when the cancer has metastised like in Scotts case). It will only buy him a few years extra as he says but it is wonderful his pain is gone.

Years ago, I read "The Great Influenza" (published in 2004), and it piqued my interest in infectious disease. So many people died, and many were young. The potential for it to return has, I think, motivated a great deal of medical research. But even while reading the, I noticed that there were symptoms which were unlike any other influenza. Specifically, a lot of bleeding: vomiting and coughing up blood. That suggested to me, a mere engineer, that something else was going on.

In 2009, Oxford Academic press published this article in Clinical Infectious Diseases: "Salicylates and Pandemic Influenza Mortality, 1918–1919 Pharmacology, Pathology, and Historic Evidence".

Abstract:
The high case-fatality rate—especially among young adults—during the 1918–1919 influenza pandemic is incompletely understood. Although late deaths showed bacterial pneumonia, early deaths exhibited extremely “wet,” sometimes hemorrhagic lungs. The hypothesis presented herein is that aspirin contributed to the incidence and severity of viral pathology, bacterial infection, and death, because physicians of the day were unaware that the regimens (8.0–31.2 g per day) produce levels associated with hyperventilation and pulmonary edema in 33% and 3% of recipients, respectively. Recently, pulmonary edema was found at autopsy in 46% of 26 salicylate-intoxicated adults. Experimentally, salicylates increase lung fluid and protein levels and impair mucociliary clearance. In 1918, the US Surgeon General, the US Navy, and the Journal of the American Medical Association recommended use of aspirin just before the October death spike. If these recommendations were followed, and if pulmonary edema occurred in 3% of persons, a significant proportion of the deaths may be attributable to aspirin.

So. Not only is medical mal-advice for COVID consistent with a long standing tradition, but the FEAR we have of pandemic disease may be based on the deadly impact of mal-advice given in a prior pandemic.

I am familiar with the apsirin-causing-bleeding issue because I have a relative who had TB, many decades before his death, from which he had recovered, of course, else he would not hgve lived so long and been able to ride a bike well into his 70s. But the TB left some scarring on his lungs. When in his late 70s his lung function began to decline, but his doctor kept him on a regimen of aspirin for his heart, just because that was the thing to do for elderly people, so he said. My relative didn't have heart trouble that I know of. Well, as he kept on taking the prescribed aspirin, his lungs filled with blood, and so he died. I don't know but I suspect that if he'd had a doctor who had some sense, or if he'd done more research on his own rather than trusting the doctor, he might very well have lived into his 80s with some quality of life.

We all have to go at sometime, though. This relative, if still alive, would be over 115 years old. Still, I remember him as if I'd seen him only yesterday, and I miss him very much.
