Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 176

So it's time for another open post. I have added a new rule (see below, #6):
1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry and its government enablers are causing injury and death on a massive scale. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.
2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its wholly owned politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.
4. If you plan on making off topic comments, please go away. This is an open post for discussion of the Covid epidemic, the vaccines, drugs, policies, and other measures that supposedly treat it, and other topics directly relevant to those things. It is not a place for general discussion of unrelated topics. Nor is it a place to ask for medical advice; giving such advice, unless you're a licensed health care provider, legally counts as practicing medicine without a license and is a crime in the US. Don't even go there.
5. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.
6. Please don't just post bare links without explanation. A sentence or two telling readers what's on the other side of the link is a reasonable courtesy, and if you don't include it, your attempted post will be deleted.
Please also note that nothing posted here should be construed as medical advice, which neither I nor the commentariat (excepting those who are licensed medical providers) are qualified to give. Please take your medical questions to the licensed professional provider of your choice.
With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Date: 2024-12-19 11:13 am (UTC)Besides the callous actions of WHO, big pharma and their bought lackeys the most astonishing element is that there has never been any accountability. Everyone including the media continued like nothing special had taken place and attention went back to the series of euro-crisis we had in those days.

Date: 2024-12-20 10:48 am (UTC)Early in 2004, Liam Scheff, a reporter, broke the story about how the children of drug addicts (many claimed as wards of the state) were involuntarily enrolled in experiments on AZT and similar toxic drugs intended for to "treat" AIDS.
Another one from the archives, and this one does carry a trigger warning, as children were DEFINITELY harmed in the making of these drugs...

Date: 2024-12-20 05:42 pm (UTC)My mother, one of the first woman medical doctors and pediatric surgeons in the country --so selflessly giving herself with miserable pay to the noble art of rescuing children who would not make it otherwise due to a battery of malformations-- was dragged into a room with a bunch of other doctors and forcefully injected with serum X, with no further information provided.
Later on it was known that some company was not allowed to test their product on "first world" nations, so they offered a good and exclusive deal to the mexican government. Some high ranking medical director has confirmed this to her.
I've heard mentioned this AIDS situation before and the anecdote you shared is harrowing... I grew up among doctors, surgeons and nurses at my state's children's hospital, it was a really nice time really and that hospital still has many doctors I trust, so hearing all this and having to see so many things regarding the horrors of the medical industry, I have to admit, is hard.
I am pretty sure my mild autism with adhd is due in part to some sort of toxicity, either from the meds they were taking or because my dad is a high functioning addict...

It was 30 years ago. México is maturing in some very important aspects, ehem, you know, like human rights and dignity. But yeah, it really is something we need to look into and work if we want to avoid getting drunk with all the attention my country is getting these days.

Date: 2024-12-20 08:33 pm (UTC)However it is important to acknowledge and remember that even in the worst and darkest of places there will be people who bring some light with them into that place.
We can, no, we must, be able to trust the light, whereever we find it, otherwise the dark might drown us.
If you will have them, my blessings to you! :)

Date: 2024-12-22 09:12 pm (UTC)Moving outside of my country and getting back when I visit provides a nice contrast in this regard. Even though many horrible things do happen in nations that have to rely mostly on their community, instead of having a functioning government, all the joyful things that I have lived still happened and continue to happen in that context. Lately I have made myself do an exercise, for every thing that makes me angry, disappointed or otherwise evoke something in me, I remind myself of the good things so that it is put in context. I suck at it! Which means I have a dependency on it and it is affecting my perception of the world. We humans can get addicted to the weirdest of things.
Trust, trust the light. Yes. But show light to the creatures of the night and for them it will be darker than darkness, to paraphrase Lévi. It takes some serious undoing to get back into the light when one has found solace in darkness. I am making it sound super dramatic, but hey, it is true to some degree when one picks up some of the many bad habits our culture fosters.
I will most gladly receive your blessings! And may you be blessed and the Light always shine bright over you and your loved ones :)
Thank you, thank you for that, and for making me think about this!
