Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 174

We are now in the fourth year of these open posts. When I first posted a tentative hypothesis on the course of the Covid phenomenon, I had no idea that discussion on the subject would still be necessary more than three years later, much less that it would turn into so lively, complex, and troubling a conversation. Still, here we are. Crude death rates and other measures of collapsing public health are anomalously high in many countries, but nobody in authority wants to talk about the inadequately tested experimental Covid injections that are the most likely cause; public health authorities government shills for the pharmaceutical industry are still trying to push through laws that will allow them to force vaccinations on anyone they want; public trust in science is collapsing; and the story continues to unfold.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before: 

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry and its government enablers are causing injury and death on a massive scale. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its wholly owned politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here. 
 
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue. 

4. If you plan on making off topic comments, please go away. This is an open post for discussion of the Covid epidemic, the vaccines, drugs, policies, and other measures that supposedly treat it, and other topics directly relevant to those things. It is not a place for general discussion of unrelated topics. Nor is it a place to ask for medical advice; giving such advice, unless you're a licensed health care provider, legally counts as practicing medicine without a license and is a crime in the US. Don't even go there.

5. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules. 

Please also note that nothing posted here should be construed as medical advice, which neither I nor the commentariat (excepting those who are licensed medical providers) are qualified to give. Please take your medical questions to the licensed professional provider of your choice.

Medical licensing

I am fortunate to have a very good primary care doctor. He told me at my visit this past week that they are changing licensing requirements for doctors... rather than renewing every ten years, they are changing it to every five years. So he is going to retire when his current license expires. Sigh.

(I do not know if this is just for my state or if it is going to happen all over America.)

I have read comments on past weeks on natto, but I have been unsuccessful in finding them again.

Does anyone have a brand/company they recommend for nattokinase supplements? (I know it is probably better to eat natto itself, but the person in question probably wouldn't go for that.)

My experience with it is that after I began taking it I felt greater mental clarity. Less foggy-before-coffee in the mornings. I've been taking one a day for about a year now. So far so good.

(For this same purpose, on many an occasion I also drink anti-inflammatory teas such as anise, fennel, and dandelion, and I take "golden milk" sometimes in the evening. Golden milk is just milk (or sometimes I use keffir) with spices. It's bright orange because it has some tumeric in it. These are just old-fashioned herbs and spices well known to help reduce inflammation.)

Thanks for the tip. Yes, indeed more light Christmas reading! 😱 (Last Christmas season I was reading Spengler's "Decline of the West" and a couple years prior to that it was RFK Jr's "Real Anthony Fauci.") The same tone continues this year. Having holiday traditions is so important.

For somebody else's stocking stuffer, I decided to tread a lightly this year with "Moth in the Iron Lung." Plant seeds, have a discussion maybe, God willing....

Me, I'm not so sure. This thing's been breeding for a while. There's likely consequences when you over-industrialise your livestock.

Heart attack patients advised to get themselves to A&E

People having a heart attack or a stroke are being asked to get themselves to hospital after dialling 999 in some parts of England, as surging sickness levels plunge the NHS into another winter crisis.

Hospitals have seen record numbers of patients on their wards as cases of flu, Covid-19, norovirus and RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) infections have also spiked.

NHS England’s chief executive, Amanda Pritchard, said the situation facing the health service “was concerning”.

It increased the risks of depression, anxiety, dissociative, stress-related, and somatoform disorders, and sleep disorders while reducing the incidence and risk of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Our findings suggested that the relationship between COVID-19 vaccination and mental illness may be underestimated along with the complexity of its impact on mental health. Thus, close observation and special caution are necessary for administering additional COVID-19 vaccinations to populations vulnerable to psychiatric AEs.

At 1.06 Dr Stanley Plotkin the premier vaccine authority admits that even though there are no studies showing that vaccines don't cause autism, he would still tell parents that vaccines don't cause autism 'for the health of the child'.

The irony is that these shoddy and very poorly tested (no placebo controls) childhood vaccines paved the way for the MRNA fiasco. Compared to childhood vaccines the MRNA vaccines were robustly trialled. One example is the Hep B vaccine given to millions of children for decades and counting. It was tested on a grand total of 147 kids who were monitored for 5 days after they were given 3 doses. THAT'S IT.

Of course she totally missed the big point that all the first few doctors who were wrong were still certain of their various diagnosis. She is exhibiting that 'learnt helplessness', any medical-related issue, one HAS to turn to acknowledged 'experts'... no self-treatment, no real attempt at self-diagnosis, no personal small stock of OTC anti-virals to help slow the outbreak.

Of course, ironies of irony, she was also one of the main mouthpieces demonizing VIM when told to do so earlier on... Now? a low-dose therapy would have nipped this shingles outbreak in the bud.

I'm still working out the finer points of how to handle my family, long-time friends and colleagues who remain bedazzled by the covidian nonsense. Mainly when around them I feel a heavy blanket sense of immense, but immense lethargy, tinged with a little silk ribbon of rueful nostalgia.

As someone pointed out in comments on that post, the man in the clip is clearly not the man whose photograph is circulating as the assassin's victim. Their facial shapes and features are completely different. Obviously either of them MAY be CEO Brian Thompson. It's also possible neither of them are, at least I myself do not know how to confirm the truth of these things at a distance.
