too many books? nah...I've been one busy political astrologer for the last two months. Alongside the usual ingress charts for the spring equinox, predicting political and economic weather for the US and Great Britain. I've had a lunar eclipse, a solar eclipse, and no fewer than three outer planet conjunctions -- Mars conjunct Saturn, Jupiter conjunct Uranus, and Mars conjunct Neptune -- to work out and delineate. All of these have something to say about the political climate. That is to say, if you noticed that things seem unusually confusing in politics, economics, and society just now, there may just be an astrological reason for that.

Late last month I posted one of those delineations as a public entry on my Patreon and SubscribeStar journals, and linked to it here on Dreamwidth. The other posts are for paying subscribers -- I have to cover my rent somehow, you know! -- but the subscription fees aren't exorbitant -- US$5 a month gets you the ingress charts, and US$10 a month gets you everything I post. You can find the two venues here:

Now I just have to catch my breath before it's time to start the next flurry of charts!

Oh, one other thing. I'm currently in negotiations with an astrology publisher to bring out a practical manual of political and economic astrology, explaining exactly how to use the traditional techniques of mundane astrology to gauge upcoming events. The manuscript's already finished, so I hope to have a publication date lined up fairly soon. I'll keep everyone informed as details come in.

Wow! I have to add a few more things to my list of happenings in the first half of 2026. As well as 5-6 eclipses ending in that stretch, another Mars Neptune conjunction and the Saturn Neptune conjunction signalling the dawn of a new era!!

Also, hurrah for the new mundane astrology book. Can't wait!

Revolutionary Conjunctions

I've come to look forward to all the ingress charts and spring equinox charts very much, as well as the special charts.

Will you have anything more to say, here or elsewhere, about the potential stirring of a revolutionary tide with the Jupiter & Uranus conjunction from yesterday? Just curious for more about that. I suppose it is a fine theme for meditation at the very least!

Thanks

Hi JMG,
I'm a subscriber, I'm currently reading your latest post.
Fun times!
A question, will the book have a glossary?
Your posts include many technical terms, many of which I am not sure exactly what they mean.
Perhaps some of the readers that are more familiar with all the terms could set up a glossary page in the meantime?

Regards,
Helen in Oz

Or what is a suggestion for a basic book? Looking for something that would explain the terms, give a good overview of the subject, but not be too dense. I echo Helen in not understanding much of what is being said. For me I am not yet ready to do intensive studying of astrology yet. But would like to know enough to understand what is being said.

Not sure if there is something like this out there. Curious what the community has to suggest.

I wonder how many “world leaders” and 1% use the services of Astrologers nowadays

communication and transport issues

I thought you might like a data point considering your prediction about "Problems with the transport, communications, media, and internet sectors of the economy are on the horizon, but getting anyone to provide a straight answer about the source and consequences of those troubles will be all but impossible."

Two nearby villages here in rural Vermont have stopped delivering the mail and our mail delivery as well as postal hours are getting erratic. According to newspaper articles, there is a staffing shortage. Imagine that, the Post Office looking for workers. I remember when working for the post office was a primo job with waiting lists.
Too many people sick or dying to fill the jobs is my guess, but no one is saying. Sad situation..

Internet seems to still be workīng but the federal government is no longer funding low income and elderly cost breaks for internet service. It will cease to exist at the end of April. My senator says everyone will work together because it is a bi-partisan issue. Right! By the way my cheap internet, $30 a month, is not connected to this program.

Slowly things fall apart like a flan in a cupboard.

May we be blessed and vigilant in these downward times.
