Modern Order of Essenes: Healer and Master Attunements

I'd like to schedule a couple of attunement sessions for the Modern Order of Essenes at this point. What I have in mind is straightforward. I would like to do a second round of Healer attunements on Saturday, May 20, and then a round of Master Healer attunements on Saturday. May 27. That way I can bring the second set of initiates up to speed and then give everyone their Master Healer attunements at once.

If you're interested in receiving attunements, please let me know if these dates will work for you. We can settle the times once I know that people are good with the dates, but my working plan -- as with previous attunement sessions -- is to do the ceremony at noon and 6 pm Eastern daylight time.

Also, if you are working on the Gnostic Lessons and are planning to finish them and qualify as an Essene Master Teacher, please let me know.

Finally, just as a heads up:  as soon as time permits I will be compiling the Essene lessons into a single PDF file, which will be made available for free download on the same Creative Commons basis as the Fellowship of the Hermetic Rose lessons. That won't happen immediately -- I'm still in page proof purgatory at the moment, with final proofs of my tentacle novels to go over -- but it'll happen. Stay tuned!

I received the Apprentice attunement the most recent time it was offered. I practice daily - will it be okay to receive the Healer and Master Healer attunements in such quick succession? I've been reading through the various materials since they've been posted.

JMG: my case is a bit worse, because I spent about 10 days not practicing - I'd practiced the Healer material for some time (and read all the MOE material) and intended to get back to it Saturday (which I'll change to tomorrow) ... which would have me having practiced everything without interruption for exactly the week before the Healer attunement. I'll get back to it either way, but if you can tell me whether you think I could receive 1 or both attunements after practicing daily from now, thanks.

Yes. (And yes, Deketemoisont, this also applies to you.) I'm deliberately hurrying things a bit so that the attunements get passed on as promptly as possible; provided that you continue practicing for at least six months after the attunements, you should be fine.

Is there a reason you're hurrying things?

There are two reasons. First, a very large number of people are sick these days and spiritual healing might help some of them. The second, as I pointed out in a blog post last month, is that there's good reason to think that we're close to the edge of a very traumatic period of transition and disintegration here in the US and in the rest of the industrial West, so the sooner I get this stuff into people's hands, the more likely the tradition is to survive.

I do not think that I am ready to do the Healer attunement - yet!

I will keep my eyes peeled for the next attunement you schedule.

I am interested in - eventually - working through the Gnostic Lessons as well. But I am still working through the MOE Healer lessons which contain a great deal of new material.

Fair enough. It may be a while before I schedule another attunement, but with any luck there will be several other Master Teachers by this autumn, and they can proceed to perform attunements as often as they choose.

I think I composed a post and never hit "submit," but my apologies if this is a double post.

I have been working through the Master Healer lessons, though I have not gotten all the way through the Master Healer practices (i.e. building and using the Bridge of Love), but I am practicing them regularly and keeping up my daily Blessing Walk, Healing Hand Empowerment, and so forth. If that is enough to ready me for the Master Healer Attunement, I would like to participate, but if not, I'll look forward to the next time, when I should be more ready.

As for qualifying for the Master Teacher, I have been even more slowly working through the Gnostic Lessons, but unless divination suggests otherwise, I am working toward being ready for that as well.

The date works for me for the Master Healer attunement. I attended the first Healer attunement. I've been working on the Gnostic lessons but didn't realize I needed to do the ceremonies at the end of each lesson till today, so I'm probably not on pace for the initial Essene Master Teacher activities. If I may piggyback on that:

From the Gnostic Lessons text, my understanding was that the ceremonies are optional and not required. My intuition is strongly advising me against taking them at this point, and thus I‘m proceeding through the lessons without taking the ceremonies.

Is that ok for the Master Teacher, or are the ceremonies required?

And in general, the Gnostic Lessons seem to be the work of a lifetime… ;-) If one proceeds through them and has made some headway, but also realises that there is still a lot of work left - is there something like a „minimum achievement“ in the Gnostic Lessons in order to become a Master Teacher? Or is it enough to do one‘s best for about a month per lesson, however far that might get one, and then simply move ahead with the lessons, and the rest will come over time?

If you don't personally feel ready to do the ceremonies, that's fine, but you do need to perform them in order to qualify as a Master Teacher. As for the "minimum achievement," put in one month of steady work on each lesson. You can and should revisit the material in them over and over again -- that's true of any course of study that's worth doing at all.

Go ahead and do the ceremonies for the lessons you've already done, perhaps at one week intervals; once you've done the work, the ceremony can be done wherever.

That's perfectly fine. The Gnostic Lessons take six months, so later this year (or next year, for that matter) is about right. I can arrange certification then.

May 27th at noon Eastern works very well for me for the Master Attunement - thanks for that.

Will there be any requirements for the Master Attunement besides the usual regular practice? Anything we should be aware of or prepare to do?

Also, just to note that I‘m working on the Gnostic Lessons and am planning to take the Master Teacher in due time. Do you plan to settle on a timeframe for that now? Or does it still hold what you said elsewhere, that we should simply raise our hands once we‘re a few weeks out from completion?

The requirements are simply that you continue your practice. There's no time frame for for the Master Teacher certification -- let me know when you're getting close.

The date and time for the Master healer attunement is alright for me.

I'm working my way, with a bit of delay, through the Gnostic lessons, and performed the first comitment the past week. Now i'm working at the Doorkeeper degree. I'm decided to keep going until the end, to take profit of this oportunity, and to become a master teacher when the time comes.

It sounds like my situation may be similar to some above but I want to check to be sure:

I've kept up the Apprentice and Healer practices regularly and have reviewed the Master material but so far only begun the "Bridge of Love" practice. I had planned to give myself longer and take the Master attunement on a second offering, but if that won't be for a while I'd prefer to take the May 27th one.

If I study all the Master material again and practice at least the BOL and ear reflexology would that be sufficient to participate?

Hi John & fellow MOEs.

The 20th will work for me with regards to Healer attunement. I've read the lessons through the healer grade several times, but am only now getting started adding the hand reflexology into the mix. Also, though I've practiced muscle testing a bit, it is the one technique I have not done as much. I will practice it a bit more this week.

That said, I'm keeping up with blessing walks, hand activation, healing. I'm doing the foot reflexology a few times a week.

Is that enough to progress to Healer grade?

I saw upthread that you are accelerating these, so after getting healer attunement can I follow up the following week with Master healer? I hope to be able to make that one as well.
