let's pretendAs we proceed through the second year of these open posts, it's pretty clear that the official narrative is cracking as the toll of deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccines rises steadily and the vaccines themselves demonstrate their total uselessness at preventing Covid infection or transmission. It's still important to keep watch over the mis-, mal- and nonfeasance of our self-proclaimed health gruppenfuehrers, and the disastrous results of the Covid mania, but I think it's also time to begin thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Agents of Chaos

Tenuous link to covid here but part of the blame game that is inevitable. This particular article is pathetic in its use of strawmen and ignorance. As history shows this shouldn't be a surprise but it is so blatantly written it was still a bit shocking to me. I believe our host recently mentioned to be on the lookout for this type of reaction. As it was written by a follower of the jewish faith it continues to prove the amazing mental gymnastics that our logical minds are capable of producing even knowing some history. I actually don't recommend reading it but it is a data point none the less.

https://www.commentary.org/articles/liel-leibovitz/paganism-afflicts-america/

Relevant selections for covid connection:
"Maybe you’re a kinder person than I, one more inclined than I am to give fellow human beings the benefit of the doubt. Pandemics are stressful times, and even the most well-meaning public health officials may be forgiven their missteps when the entire world is crackling. No sooner had the wrath of Covid subsided, though, than our pagan witch doctors jumped in with another way to sacrifice the well-being of the young on the altar of ideological convictions."

"They print stickers with slogans like “believe the science,” not realizing that they have just admitted, however tacitly, that theirs isn’t a logical and rational product of the Enlightenment but a religious system like any other, complete with its quirks and its zealotry. Only when it is understood as such can it be confronted; only if we deny the pagans the right to don a white lab coat or a tie and claim impartiality can we provide a sober accounting of their actions."

I work at a library, and I've been watching the rising reaction against certain sorts of risque "reading hours" and graphic novels featuring explicit scenes. I'm mostly in sympathy with the people reacting against these things, but inevitably they're going to start calling for the censorship of anything that doesn't fit their sensibilities.

All too often, the reaction leads to as many problems as the original movement.

Over 70 with Comorbidities, Unvaxxed

Date: 2023-04-18 07:36 pm (UTC)
From: [personal profile] artisanity
I am over 70 with four comorbidities but I have a good immune system and trust in it. I did not get vaccinated nor have I had covid. I’ve been really healthy these last 3 years. Same as before the pandemic, I work at home and rarely go to crowded indoor places. When I do, I spray dilute iodine solution into my nose and gargle with it beforehand and when I get home. I have also been taking some of the FLCCC supplements about every second day (vitamins D & C, Zinc, Quercetin & NAC). I would be interested to hear if anyone else who has been taking these precautions has gotten covid.

Those who say you should only get vaxxed if you are old do not have credibilty with me. To the frightened folks I say “Fear is not good for your immune system.” To the others “I have a good immune system, I don’t want to mess with it.”

I have been thankful for this forum since the beginning and for a small community of unjabbed locals (including some seniors). I am also thankful for the vaccinated locals who treated me normally all along. The others… they are just a few but there have been no apologies. They stopped inviting me over but they never stopped waving to me from a distance.

do you still wave back at them? have you stopped waving? something in between?

i ask these questions because, from a day to day existence standpoint, i still maintain friendships/family obligations with the majority of them. there have been many arguments about my refusal to participate in the program, don't get me wrong, but i haven't lost any important relationships over it.

some of the friendships/family relations have suffered, and others became stronger, and this forum is the main reason i have been able to manage the situation.

Nikki's Story of Her Daughter's Vaccine Injury
Russell Broadbent, MP
March 15, 2023

TRANSCRIPT

RUSSELL BROADBENT: Today I wanted to hear from a mum, Nikki, who's reached out and asked me to share her family's story with my parliamentary colleagues.

The rate of severe injuries caused by covid-19 vaccines and excess deaths in Australia, especially in younger people, should be front page news. It's one thing for the majority of my colleagues to deliberately block, mock, and ignore this unfolding human health crisis, but why is, why is the media doing the same? It seems that the Academy Awards and reality TV updates take precedence. Really? Where's our humanity? And where's our compassion? There's a time for politics and debate, and there's a time to unite for the good of our nation, and that time is now. Here's Nikki's story.

NIKKI: This message is for you, Russell Broadbent, Federal Member of Parliament, representing the division of Monash in Victoria. Thank you for taking an interest in Johanna's story. It has been 16 months since our beautiful 20 year-old daughter received her mandatory covid vaccination which has resulted in ongoing debilitating heart issues that we still do not have answers for. As her mother I have been shouting our story from the rooftops, but nobody seems to want to listen. You have read Johanna's story and have offered to share my message with your parliamentarian colleagues. Well, Russell, here is my message.

All four members of our family are proud voters. Before our girls turned 18 they knew their vote was valuable and they cast very considered ones, as do we. We respect each other's opinion to not discuss our individual choices with each other. We are the very people who put you in the seats you now occupy.

Devastatingly, over the past three years the blatant coercion the Australian government have displayed and are still displaying, has not only shattered ours and both our daughters pride in the opportunity to vote that you have robbed us and so many people of freedom of choice. We still are told the same lie, the vaccine is safe. Until you walk in my shoes, see your own child suffering [makes air quotes with fingers] the unknown underlying health issue that has now raised its ugly head, and only because she was forced to make a health choice and told, no jab no job, you will never know the anger of being so devastatingly let down by a system that we trusted would always right the wrongs.

It is time, it is time to stop the lies. It is time to begin the healing for your own soul. When you know it to be true and speak about vaccine injuries, speak as I do, alongside me, with the fear in your voice, knowing you may also have made a choice and were so lucky to evade still being trapped in the pandemic like our daughter still is.

This needs to filter through to our specialists who continually say, low iron, anxiety, dehydrated, exercise more, none of which is helpful. I invite you to contact me, to sit down and hear our story. I know you will align because when you remove your position of power, you are someone's son, daughter, mother, father, sister, brother. Somewhere you know someone who has been through this and is still going through it. So now it is the time to speak up in your position of power that we have so proudly placed you in. Speak up now even if your voice shakes.

TRANSCRIPT OF ATTACHED VIDEO

MATT LE TISSIER: Over the last few years I've been asked many questions to which I'm going to answer some now. So prior to three years ago, you knew me as an ex-footballer and then a pundit for many years. I loved my work and, arrogant though it may sound, I thought I was pretty good at it. And I'll continue to do the football punditry for as long as the work comes in for the selected companies.

However, what I've done over the past couple of years I feel is so important, to bring awareness and a voice to those who can't or don't have the same platform to speak up. The atrocities committed by our government over the last couple of years have been devastating to so many. The effect of lockdowns on ourselves and our children will continue to be seen for many years to come. So when I'm told, stick to football, I'm sorry, but I like to sleep soundly at night and so I'll continue to be a voice for many.

In April last year I started doing weekly interviews on a social media platform called Gettr*. They were one of the very few that didn't censor the information that was out there, and over the last 9 months I've had on guests such as Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Tess Lawrie, Dr. Thomas Binder, Dr. Aseem Malhotra, Ivor Cummins, and many, many more. And a lot of these guests have rightfully been reinstated on Twitter.

Now "The Flip Side," which is my show on Gettr, airs every Monday night at 8 o'clock. But I may decide to place those on other channels too in the future. So when I'm asked what I'm doing now, I tell them, the most important work I'm doing is this and I love it. I also do a bit of punditry and appear on GB News most Monday nights, as well as after dinner speaking up and down the country. My agency mail is in the bio for all inquiries.

And for those of you that have supported for the past couple of years, I just wanted to send my heartfelt thanks. It's not been an easy journey, but it is one that's brought me a lot of strength. And I know, along with others, I will be on the right side of history. So thanks for listening and please repost if you like.

University drops vaxx mandate. Finally.

My state’s flagship university officially dropped the covid vaccination mandate for students today. I was shocked they continued so long—the staff mandate was dropped last year, when they were desperate to hire (they still are, as baby boomers are retiring in droves and younger people are tempted away by higher salaries in the private sector.)

But at least it’s done now. Thank goodness. Requiring healthy young people to take a worthless, potentially harmful injection just to continue their education was evil.

The purpose of the educational system is to produce the kind of people the regime wants. The regime wants people compliant enought to get injected with anything. Kinda surprising they dropped the mandate at all.

I've been experiencing mounting dread from the news lately. The dread seems to be independent of any actual developments, though. It just keeps building.

Here's my guess as to what's going on: I think we're under constant, massive attempts to overwrite our sense of reality, and it's these attempts that generate the dread.

For instance, right now it's looking like it's becoming impermissible to mention the lockdowns and the negative effects of masking, and the original Covid vaccines are getting quietly phased out with no mention of any side effects. The whole saga, this whole critical turning point of 21st Century history, is just -whoosh- vanished down the memory hole, and we're on to the next round of insanity.

It's like living under a constant artillery barrage.

I'd agree that there is a "shell shock" aspect to the news flow and how the pandemic has quieted down. Whether it's astral gunk, the squeeze-release-squeeze cycle of the elites, or something else - it definitely feels that another step down on the Stairway of The Long Descent is right around the corner. One of the more troubling things I've read about lately is how many troops in the 82nd Airborne are over in Poland right now. It won't take much of a spark to usher in WWIII, and the quiet-behind-the-scenes actions is how that happens.

Mark L made a comment a week or two ago about how the Covid Jabs have quietly retreated from the limelight - not because they are unsafe, but because they were ineffective. Until vaccine injuries and deaths and longer term ill effects become mainstream (and the guilty held accountable), most can ignore and forget the Covid story as "the Jabs didn't work....".

Ahoy! Let’s share some tall tales…

Our host has asked us to consider "what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries" . I’ve seen a few stabs at this, but it seems a hard concept to get traction on, so I thought I’d step it down to the personal… what might we do at the family level going forward?

Since we, by law and custom, cannot give medical advice on this forum, I’ll share a little tale of a Ship of Fools, and the foolish and fanciful things they undertake. Since there are only two crew aboard this peculiar little ship, let's call them the Owl and the Pussycat, at sea in their pea-green boat.

Here are some things this imaginary Crew is doing!

The Crew has collected a broad library of health-related books over the years, ranging from herbals through vitamins and nutrition to 'Medicine for Mountaineering', (just in case they get the sudden urge to remove an appendix or two while on K2). It is diverse library with some books dating back to the 1920s, and is actually read and discussed, often guiding the Crew’s diet and self-care practices. No scurvy on this ship of fools!

Being on a metaphorical ship and all, they do not do a lot of gardening, but a full bed of hardneck garlic is the one thing they always plant each year. The bulbs last nearly the full year and are replanted each Fall, and whether they have all the propertied health benefits or not, they are sure they do wonders for social distancing.

Owl has a 'modern job' – arranging pixels into patterns that his Masters find pleasing – so the Crew can currently afford good food, and mostly avoid the processed stuff. This income also allow the Crew to munch on some micro-nutrients in the form of vitamins and such – D, C, Quercetin, Lysine, Zinc and others all pop up in the rotation. Owl likes to think these help keep bugs away, while Pussycat looks for herbal and garden alternatives, for when the day comes that pixel-pushing is no longer a valued skill, and the Crew needs to manage with what they can grow and find locally.

The Crew is not fixated on alternative medicine, though they often turn to it first, and also are known to stock the hold with the kind of useful shelf-stable medicines that are rapidly being restricted in their jurisdiction – ASA, cetirizine, famotidine and such – including some prescription compounds when they are available. Clearly only a Ship of Fools would entertain such a thing! Pussycat says "If it actually works, you know they are going to take it away, so buy a couple pf boxes now".

Stocking and finding alternatives has served the Crew well over the years, as supplies grow scarce and unreliable. The Crew scours the seven seas for alternatives for times when pharmaceuticals are scarce, and can often be seen up in the crows nest, spying for exotic potions: Kratom for pain management in extremis… that would surely be a Fools choice, would it not?

Of course any Ship of Fools will have its weaknesses: The Crew has some rusty first aid training, but no deep knowledge of any alternative healing modality, and while Pussycat exercises regularly, Owl does not so much! Pussycat also gets plenty of rest, while Owl does like to stay up late reading pre-prints, and goes a bit short on sleep… not an entirely healthy shipboard life.

The Crew is realistic about all this though – their journey reaches its latter stages, and a final harbour is not that far away over the horizon. Perhaps a decade remains – a good one, if the sea is willing – until the voyage ends.

What about those other Ships of Fools that pass them in the night? Perhaps with younger Crews, just starting their voyage? Maybe you know of one, and can share its story here!

This made me smile.

I've been working on upping my game with cooking and with home remedies. Apitherapy is my thing, and I continue learning (currently working with propolis tinctures).

Great Grey Owl in my house is a whiz with grilling and sauce-making, usually incorporating the magical, most healthful ingredients: rosemary, shallots, and garlic.

The home health library has a dedicated shelf upstairs. Homemade chicken and beef broth portions occupy substantial section of freezer.

My main realization over the past 2 years is that, contrary to what I had always thought, I am better off avoiding checkups, unless I have some screaming reason to go, since more likely than not the tests themselves may be dangerous, the treatments useless, expensive, and dangerous, and for triple sure, the doctor will try to push a jab and some other subsequently-to-be-identified-as-contraindicated thing on me. Now if I go to someone professional for medical help, I want to know that person does not have a financial incentive to lie to me, nor a financial incentive to prescribe things for me. Unfortunately almost entire medical profession falls into this infelicitous category. I know perfectly well that if my doctor were to talk openly about covid or the jabs or the jab injuries, he could lose their license, and now I also know that (in the US) he has been paid bonues to jab a certain percentage of his patients.

So: instead of going for a checkup, I take a lovely walk in the park. Great Grey Owl finds this alarming, but has become increasingly resigned to my recalcitrance.

Your mileage may vary, as our host often says. But this is what works for me now.

This Week: Saskatoon!

Date: 2023-04-19 01:40 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Well, the National Citizen’s Inquiry will be holding three days of hearings in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on April 20 – 22. Like at all other cities so far, there is an impressive line-up of expert witnesses (some names may be familiar):
1: Dr. Francis Christian- Surgeon
2: Ryan Orydzuk- Occupational Health and Safety Expert
3: James Kitchen – Canadian litigation lawyer
4: Steve Kirsch – Entrepreneur and Covid researcher
5: Ann McCormack – Retired Pharmacist
6: Maria Gutschi – Academic Pharmacist and researcher
7: Leighton Grey – Litigation lawyer
8: Professor Magda Havas – Environmental Toxicologist
9: Dr. Chris Flowers – Radiologist and Covid expert

Those who would like to listen in live can tune in hear: https://nationalcitizensinquiry.ca/nci-live/
Timing is from 9 am to 5 pm daily Central Standard Time (which is the same time zone as Mountain Daylight Time; Saskatchewan doesn’t do the Daylight Saving Time thing – pretty rebellious, eh?).

A few other Canadian bits and bobs:

1 – One of the many ‘gems’ from the Winnipeg hearings was, surprisingly, the testimony of David Leis, public policy expert. I know, that sounds incredibly boring (I, for one, was prepared to be underwhelmed; public policy doesn’t exactly get me fired up), but don’t be deceived by appearances. David’s testimony was riveting. He was so emotional that he had to pause giving testimony many times. Imagine a person whose life-long-love has been in a horrific car accident and is now on life support with iffy chances of survival: that is how David presented – but his life-long-love is his country. His testimony was a tour de force of liberal democracy and its history, in which he also provided a well-honed definition of ‘tyranny’. May the gods abundantly bless this wonderful patriot! Video here: https://rumble.com/v2iss79-expert-public-policy-leader-david-leis-testifies-day-3-winnipeg-national-ci.html

2 – Another ‘gem’ well worth shouting out about from Winnipeg’s hearings is Sgt. Rick Abbott of the Edmonton Police Force: a noble ‘boy in blue’ who decided to go to Milk River and Coutts, Alberta (when the border was blockaded in February 2022) to see firsthand, while off-duty, what it was all about. As a trained observer of crowds and being accustomed to looking for the ‘bad apples’ in large gatherings, Rick was absolutely blown away by the love and comradeship and patriotism exhibited at the border. He could not find a single suspicious character at either place. What he saw was Christian farmers who had been pushed way too far and who pushed back with love. And Rick gave advice to the protesters at Coutts how to surrender themselves to police in the most favourable way (the protesters knew full well that they would likely be arrested). I had goosebumps while listening to his testimony. Of course, no good deed goes unpunished, and Rick’s story of how he was treated by his police force after word got out about his presence at the blockade is a whole other chapter. Rick’s full testimony is here: https://rumble.com/v2iqiw4-sgt.-rick-abbotts-testimony-on-lawful-assembly-and-bold-leadership-winnipeg.html

3 – I mentioned ‘Christian’ above quite deliberately (as did Rick Abbott), as there is something else to report, as in Canada, a lot of Christians are standing up against the ‘drag queen shows’ that are aimed at children and youth across the country these days, including in public schools. A bridge too far one might say! Long story short, Canadian conservative Christian protester teen phenomenon Josh Alexander made the news (again) last week by organizing a protest outside a public high school in Toronto that was hosting a drag queen show. (Josh was arrested and has been expelled from his Catholic high school for the school year for declaring that there are only two genders [as per the Bible] and for speaking up for girls in his school who felt unsafe in their washroom due to the presence of ‘trans girls’ in the girl’s washroom; Josh was also a participant in the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa last year). Anyway, virtually the whole student body came out in support of Josh’s very vocal position (video here: https://rumble.com/v2hwe5w-canadian-students-reject-drag-queen-event-at-high-school.html). But this is not just a ‘Christian thing’: one of the star protesters was a diminutive Palestinian Canadian Muslim named Kareema [don’t know her last name] who stared down and chest-checked a hysterical shrieking ‘trantifa’ anti-protester who was a good foot taller than her. I can’t find a little video of her, but for those who like to see courage and determination in action, this is a must-see (timestamp 1:49:45 to 1:58:00 [Warning! Some undruidly words!] here: https://rumble.com/v2hvmay-ragecast-324-the-reaping.html)

4 – Lastly, while I am on the subject of youth, there has recently emerged in Canada an organization called SAM (Students Against Mandates) Canada which is committed to the elimination of vaccine and mask mandates across all college and university campuses. SAM members Leigh Vossen and Cassie Schroeder recently gave testimony at the National Citizen's Inquiry. Their firsthand accounts as unvaccinated students during the pandemic provide valuable insights into the challenges faced by students in these unprecedented times. You can watch them here: https://rumble.com/v2ioltk-leigh-vossen-sam-president-and-founder-full-national-citizens-inquiry-testi.html (Leigh) and here https://rumble.com/v2ionjs-cassie-shroeder-s.a.m.-leadership-national-citizens-inquiry-full-testimony.html (Cassie). A lot of people have dismissed our youth as being hopelessly brainwashed, lazy, demoralized bums. Well, a lot of them have gone through a lot over the past few years and if they are the ‘worse for wear’ it should be no surprise. But with the examples of determined ‘awake’ youth like Josh, Kareema, Leigh and Cassie – and a whole bunch others who I am not mentioning for the sake of brevity – we can see that at least some youth have a spine and are willing to stand up for what they believe in and challenge the ‘machine’.

Freedom! Liberté!

Was thinking of posting that article, as a great example of "even though this Jab was bad, it was a rare event" putrid propaganda. In a sane society, libelous content like this would be struck down immediately.

Some lowlights:

"At London Inner South Coroner's Court, Mr Harris described it as a "very unusual and deeply tragic case"."

(very unusual? ah, no.)

"When he outlined the facts of the case, senior coroner Mr Harris told the court it was "very important to record as fact that it is the AstraZeneca vaccine - but that is different from blaming AstraZeneca". He added: "It seems to me that there is not an action one can take at the moment."

Responding to the coroner's findings, an AstraZeneca (AZ) spokesman said "the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risks of extremely rare potential side effects".

(Exactly what party is to blame?)

"He added: "We are very saddened by Stephen Wright's death and extend our deepest sympathies to his family for their loss. Patient safety is our highest priority and regulatory authorities have clear and stringent standards to ensure the safe use of all medicines, including vaccines.""

(Patient safety? Ah, no. Total lie.)

"From May 2021, the AZ jab was no longer offered to adults under 40 after it became clear the vaccine carried an extremely rare risk of blood clots which could be fatal."

(extremely rare? Ah, no. Not to mention that all flavors of the Jabs are unsafe.)

"The UK medicines safety regulator, the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency), continues to monitor the effects of the AZ vaccine as well as all other Covid vaccines."

(oh, really?)

"According to a study in the Lancet, Covid vaccinations - many of which would have been AZ jabs - prevented 14 million deaths in 185 countries between December 2020 and December 2021."

(note - study used a mathematical model and "estimates". No tinkering allowed!)

"A Department of Health and Social Care spokesman said: "More than 144 million Covid vaccines have been given in England, which has helped the country to live with Covid and saved thousands of lives.

"All vaccines being used in the UK have undergone robust clinical trials and have met the MHRA's strict standards of safety, effectiveness and quality.

"The vaccine damage payments scheme provides financial support to help ease the burden on individuals who have, in extremely rare circumstances, been severely disabled or died due to receiving a government-recommended vaccine." "

(A "spokesman"? Unnamed source? Yeah, that instills some confidence.../sarc)

The cognitive dissonance is unbelievably extreme here, and unfortunately it is NOT rare....

I sort of belong to a group of old ladies who talk about ruthless budgeting. The leader of the group has made her name on feeding five people for under $150p.w. (incredibly cheap in Australia) for thirty years or so. I don't really share their enthusiasm for obsessing about the grocery bill, (often tempted to say - hey guys, order your margaritas by the jug, it's so much more cost-effective!) but I noticed this week that numerous members of the group were commenting that their intuitive voice was telling them they needed to get as much in their pantries as possible. So they were all pressure-canning mince and whole chickens and who knows what. It was really noticeable how many were commenting about their intuition warning them. Must say, I don't feel any intuitive warning like that.

Concerning the second restriction of your post, I have gone back and forth about this multiple times. I've lately decided on a sort of unifying middle ground: that the most effective conspiracies aren't planned in dark backrooms, but right out in the open, or without having been planned at all per se. Our ruling elites live in a completely separate and alien society where they have all been inculcated into a set of shared values and interests, so they can spring into coordinated action without all getting together and being told the plan on a PowerPoint presentation. It's partly subconscious. So if it seems at times as though this all serves their agenda (depopulation, totalitarian power) so perfectly even if we can't find evidence of such explicit coordination, then that is why.
There is also a horseshoe quality to evil and stupidity. At some point, sufficiently extreme stupidity can only be characterized as malicious, and sufficiently extreme evil is so mutually destructive as to be self-defeating. They converge and become impossible to tell apart. Hence, we see how their seemingly perfectly coordinated and self-serving actions have also blown up in their face, with more to come. Did not think that closing movie theaters would get many people to rethink their relationship with cultural propaganda? Or that many people would move to the underground economy? Or that debilitating a large part of the population would lead to a labor shortage and hence increase the leverage of those in the workforce? Do they not see the parallels between their own words and actions and those of the French and Russians before their respective revolutions?
Moderna and Pfizer just lost their EUA. Do they think that a tipping point of people won't notice and stop trusting Big Medicine altogether?
The question comes: are our elites evil, or just stupid? The answer is "yes."

To those who are interested, here are all of the requests for prayer that have recently appeared across the Ecosophia community. Please feel free to add any or all of them to your prayers.

If I missed anybody on the full list, or if you would like to add a prayer request for yourself or anyone who has given you consent (or for whom a relevant person holds power of consent) to the list, please feel free to leave a comment below and/or at the prayer list page.

This week I would like to bring special attention to a few prayer requests.

Nichole Cardillo has a cancerous tumor in her duodenum (in her small intestine) and she's going into surgery on May 1st to try to remove it; for a successful surgery that completely removes the cancer, and for blessings, protection, and a full return to health.

Patricia Mathew's friend Al (Alison Kulp) is in the hospital with a nasty life-threatening MRSA infection; please play for her to be blessed, protected, and completely healed as soon as is possible. (Update here.)

Luke Dodson's friend B, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer, and is still in serious condition though she's already had surgery; for blessing, protection, healing, and a full return to health.

Lp9's hometown, East Palestine, Ohio, for the safety and welfare of their people, animals and all living beings in and around East Palestine, and to improve the natural environment there to the benefit of all. The situation is still developing, but the reasonable possibility exists that this is an environmental disaster on par with the worst America has ever seen. (Lp9 gives updates here and also here)

Finally, if there are any among you who might wish to join me in a bit of astrological timing, I pray each week for the health of all those with health problems on the list on the astrological hour of the Sun on Sundays, bearing in mind the Sun's rulerships of heart, brain, and vital energies. If this appeals to you, I invite you to join me.

Finally some good news in local science fiction fandom: the largest convention in my area has dropped its vaxx and official testing requirements and now is only "strongly encouraging" vaxxes and a home test within 48 hours of attendance. It is still requiring masking, but I expected no less. SF fandom in general has a large (but steadily dwindling) Boomer contingent with notoriously terrible health--widespread obesity, diabetes, and other lifestyle-related diseases. Local fans seem to be mostly liberal to radical-left with few libertarians and even fewer conservatives, so the hysteria reached a very high pitch indeed.

A win for local sovereignty and health freedom
https://standforhealthfreedom.com/blog/collier-2/

Florida’s Collier County passes health freedom bill of rights, a template for all.

Local sovereignty and health freedom are thriving in Collier County, Florida, where the Board of County Commissioners has passed a health freedom bill of rights. Fresh from taking a stand for their autonomy by refusing a CDC grant with strings attached, these freedom supporters took an additional step on April 11, 2023, by unanimously passing an ordinance to further protect health freedom.

Commissioner Chris Hall, who ran for his post because of government overreach during the COVID pandemic, brought this ordinance to the board. He said the mandates issued in the past few years were “a violation of personal liberty like I’ve never seen in my life in this country.” And although state laws enacted by Governor Ron DeSantis in 2021 already prohibit mask mandates and vaccine requirements, Hall said the ordinance ensures that “in case anything changes at the state level, we have liberties protected in Collier County.”

In addition to the ordinance, the board also considered a resolution, which passed 4-1. Hall said the resolution means, “As a commission board, we’re gonna have your back as the people. We’re gonna protect and secure your personal liberty.”
“There’s a difference between liberty and freedom,” Hall continued. “Any time [one person’s freedom infringes upon] another person’s freedom, that’s a violation of liberty. … Our rights are given to us by God. Our job is to protect and secure those liberties that are given to us and that’s what we hope to do with this ordinance and this resolution.”

The ordinance will prohibit COVID-19 vaccine mandates, mask mandates, quarantines, and vaccine passports. It also rejects health directives by the World Health Organization and other international bodies. The goal of the two measures is to protect individual freedoms by preventing a repeat of mandates, shutdowns, and quarantines in the future.

Despite claims bythe federal government and manufacturers that the COVID shots created at warp speed are “safe and effective,” it’s becoming clear that this claim is questionable at best. Although the drug companies knew these shots were not worthy of the glowing marketing they were given, patients were not told of the risks. Informed consent was trampled underfoot in the rush to “protect” us all from the COVID virus.

And now, people are injured and dying. This scenario perfectly outlines why health freedom is so important. We must protect our right to informed consent and the freedom to make our own health choices without coercion or mandate.
At the commissioners’ board meeting, many spoke in support of the ordinance and the resolution. Doctors, nurses, pilots, researchers, and parents stepped up to the podium to paint thepicture of why informed consent and the freedom to make health choices is so critical.

Scott Kiley, member of the COVID Tyranny Task Force, walked the commissioners through the points of the resolution. (See the provisions of the ordinance and the resolution below.) On the resolution’s first point, the right to no medical mandates, he said, “The use of a biological agent on civilians without informed consent is considered human criminal experimentation and is in violation of international laws that protect human rights, including the Nuremberg Code and the Geneva Convention.”

“Hospitals, doctors, and pharma companies often have no liability and huge financial incentives to push new medications,” Kiley continued. “This is an unacceptable conflict with mandating anything and in violation of our right not to be harmed, injured, or deprived of life without due process of law under the Fifth and 14th Amendments. Commissioners, it is our resolve to never allow this again by working toward no medical mandates.”
Explaining the right to no discrimination, Kiley said, “If we allow this nonsense to continue, they can mandate any treatment or procedure and humanity will be forced to comply. We must resolve to preserve freedom of choice without discrimination.”

Kiley encouraged the commissioners to pass both measures saying, “Collier County will be the beacon of freedom in all of Florida.”

“Here in Collier County, you are at the tip of the spear,” said Ann Vandersteel, president, and chair of Zelenko Freedom Foundation. “You have the opportunity to lead the country out of the darkness and prove that we the people can make the best decisions for ourselves, that we the people, in fact, govern.”

Pilot Josh Yoder, who flies for a major airline, is the co-founder and president of U.S. Freedom Flyers. He stated that the institution of vaccine mandates caused “tremendous chaos” in the airline industry in late 2021. “As pilots, as you know, we are very focused on our health and we’re very reluctant to take medications or anything that could potentially violate our flight physical, harm our health, and therefore, harm our careers,” he said.

Many airline employees pushed back against the mandates. “We stood up in force,” said Yoder, “first with just a few people, then tens, then hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, across the industry.” They stood up and pushed back in the interest of preserving “individual liberty and freedom.”

Eventually, the airlines backed down, accepting religious and medical exemptions where they had initially threatened termination for noncompliance. “It’s because we stood up in force,” said Yoder. “They knew that they couldn’t afford to lose 20-25% of their workforce.”

Yoder went on to make it clear that the airlines didn’t back down “out of the kindness of their hearts.” But instead, “they did it because we stood together as citizens,” he explained. “Look at how this country was founded. Normal people who stood up to their government and they brought forth freedom. … And we’re now experiencing the benefits of that even today.”

The emergence of a pandemic was frightening for everyone. But mandating treatments of any kind – especially if they’re largely untested – is clearly not the answer. It’s critical to maintain bodily autonomy, informed consent, and health freedom moving forward to avoid another series of costly, life-altering mistakes. One way to do this is for everyone to stand up where they are and say, “Not here.”

Freedom begins at home – in the schools, organizations, cities, and counties where we live, work and play. We congratulate Collier County for paving the way for local leaders to take a stand for health freedom in counties across the nation.

Use their health freedom bill of rights as a template for your county. Ask your county commissioners to put a stake in the ground protecting health freedom in your area. As Vandersteel said at the commissioners’ board meeting, the goal is “local action having a national impact.”

It’s not about whether you agree with a certain treatment. It’s about having the option to make your own health decisions. Commission Chairman Rick LoCastro summed it up when he said, “I’m for choice. We are talking about rights.”

Permaculture co-founder David Holmgren, who is also a COVID narrative skeptic, is speaking out again about how troubling is has been to him to see a substantial portion of the permaculture community get absorbed into the mainstream COVID narratives and woke-ism.

Outstanding. Some choice quotes:

"Covid and responses to it have demonstrated how radical concern about the “climate emergency” could be (and to some degree already is) weaponised to demand top-down high-tech solutions mandated by governments and delivered by global corporations along with the demonisation of ordinary folk for their bad behaviour or even just their beliefs. For example, the belief in, and enthusiastic adoption of, the all-electric future and demonisation of wood burning is an example of this new orthodoxy that is having a strong influence in permaculture networks. As this shifts from progressive policy to mandate and punishment for non-compliance, environmental radicals could become part of the social enforcers just as they have been in relation to Covid."

"I have had lots of conversations after which I find myself wondering: were they one, two, three, four or even five times vaxxed? Occasionally I’ve tried asking but it mostly has led to defensive reactions that I might be judging them as a bad, or maybe stupid, person. Reversing the demonisation is the last thing we need, but having general philosophical discussions based on the idea that personal relationships to the vax is not useful, or even not relevant information, is incredibly frustrating. It feels that the self-censorship is more powerful than the control of media. In the same way that a picture can tell the story of a thousand words, one’s vaxxed status speaks volumes, and given we were – and might still be – all classified by the system according to that status, surely we can be honest in our family, kin, neighbourhoods and collegiate networks. Without that honesty I believe there can be no trust and truth telling. So let the truth telling and deep listening unfold for the benefit of all."
