Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 83

As we proceed through the second year of these open posts, it's pretty clear that the official narrative is cracking as the toll of deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccines rises steadily and the vaccines themselves demonstrate their total uselessness at preventing Covid infection or transmission. It's still important to keep watch over the mis-, mal- and nonfeasance of our self-proclaimed health gruppenfuehrers, and the disastrous results of the Covid mania, but I think it's also time to begin thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries. 

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before: 

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here. 
 
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue. 

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules. 

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

You've been a voice of reason and clarity among the most tumultuous times of my life (i.e. the past decade) and I want to thank you for all you've done for me and others. Your positive impact on the world is clear to see.

JMG has posted a few times on the dismal state of mainstream art in the Western world. The author of this piece, Jordan Henderson, is a painter who discusses beauty in art and using art to make social and political statements. He did a few paintings about the pandemic that are featured in the article (I may have seen someone else link to some of these in one of the past Open posts, but not to this specific article).

Honestly, political art isn't usually my thing. My favorite artwork usually includes wizards atop mountains of skulls summoning rad fire dragons and the like, but Henderson's paintings are pretty good anyway.

Thank you Ari, In the article is a link to Norval Morrisseau's artwork. He is a Canadian 'native artist' legend. I first saw his work at Pollock Gallery (1960-1981) Toronto back when Saturday gallery openings were announced in the Saturday newspaper Arts Sections and had great catered spreads. Jack Pollock, if I'm not mistaken, 'found' Norval Morrisseau when he was an alcoholic, seriously down on his luck-as one might imagine, and selling paintings on the street. Morrisseau invented his own style influenced by traditional beliefs and it is one of a kind. He is considered a shaman and shamanistic artist. He is truly a giant among artists both stylistically and in his vision.

Hello JMG and fellow commenters

It occured to me that all the data collected in connection with the vaccinations is a neat way to filter out potential dissidents and to see how fragmented the society actually is. My personal experience was that about 10% of the people I know didn't take the vaccine, even under duresse (giving up a job and what not), about 40% had some misgivings but eventually got vacced, the rest followed the party line. How does it look among other commentators?

PS, jmg I know this sounds tedious, but there is no such thing as Gruppenführers, the plural is Gruppenführer. Keep up the excellent work!

Oh man, this week's pic. Calls have been made for Nuremberg 2.0 for several months now. Estimates for the number of covid fatalities is now roughly comparable to the number killed in the nazi holocaust, so the crimes are there, as is the evidence. I wonder what the odds of the trials actually happening are.

I heard a strange ad on the radio today that imparted in me the opposite message the advertisers meant.

It was a Covid Booster ad where a women is talking to someone, and it sounds like they are preparing a meal, cause there are knife sharpening noises in the background, followed by a large 'thunk' as though cutting a big piece of meat right after she says we should all get boostered. She describes Covid as the guest that won't leave, and I think the intent was that the noises would punctuate the public cutting off Covid by getting boosted.

What it made me think of, was that the 'thunk' of the knife was the end of your life after you took their shot. Brought too you by Pfizer and Biontech.

Maybe it is because I recognize advertising as the black magic it truly is, but it just seemed such a bizarre ad to try and get people to get more boosters.

Fear and the Herd

Yes, fear is a very useful thing for rule. Without it, the Third Reich would have been a harder thing to sell. Feeling 'special' helped then as still now - with the element yet being a wonderful condition of control.

Right now, outside my home, I walk my dog and see two face covers down in the grass by the road. And - still I see persons driving by alone in their cars with the mask firmly covering mouth and nose. I guess you can never be to careful... And it makes you look like you are doing 'your bit'. Or whatever.

I will say this too; attended a mid-week service of the nearest Episcopal Church. Surprise - not a single mask in sight, and you could begin we hadn't been put through the measures of fear over these last several years.

Druidry calls, but at least - I won't be handling those snakes under the tent at the several other options of this downstate Illinois county...

Still - resources tell me this county followed the regime vaccine cult at just over 60% for at least the first shot. People and fear.

The first is for Praesepe, who is getting a double mastectomy today, March 8th. Please pray for a successful surgery, and to overcome her cancer; for blessings and her protection, and for her healing. (Original request here).

The second is for Boccaccio's friend and spiritual teacher "A", who unfortunately passed away yesterday. Please consider praying for blessings to aid and ease in his transition to the other side. (Original request here).

The third is Lp9's request on behalf of their hometown, East Palestine Ohio, for the safety and welfare of their people and all living beings in the area. The details coming out are still caught in the fog of war, and various claims of catastrophe and non-catastrophe are flying about, but the reasonable possibility seems to exist that this is an environmental disaster on par with the worst America has ever seen. At any rate, it is clearly having a devastating impact on the local area, and prayers are certainly warranted.

Finally, if there are any among you who might wish to join me in a bit of astrological timing, I pray each week for the health of all those with health problems on the list on the astrological Hour of the Sun on Sundays, bearing in mind the Sun’s rulerships of heart, brain, and vital energies. I've been suspicious of official data for a while now. When it shows bad results for the jabbed they either discontinue the dataset, or use a different baseline for comparison.

The ABS is now doing that with total deaths stats. They say: "Data for 2022 is compared to a baseline comprising the years 2017-2019 and 2021. 2020 is not included in the baseline for 2022 data because it included periods where numbers of deaths were significantly lower than expected."

2020 was the year of the notional pandemic before mass jabs kicked in. 2021 post jab the deaths started ramping. In other words the percentage comparison they publish is now not against the original pre-COVID, unjabbed period, so the percentage increase will appear lower. You have to look at the actual death nos.

Thomas Pynchon's novel, Gravity's Rainbow, was recommended in last month's open post by Aurelien (is that you, aurelien?). I've been meaning to promote the book to this group for a while now, so let me repeat the recommendation.

I'm re-reading GR for the first time in 25 years and I recommend it because, more than even Orwell or Huxley, it gives the best literary framework for understanding our Covid Era. Our times are 'Pynchonian': We are beset by malign forces (socio-political? occult?) manifesting themselves in convoluted bureaucracies, personal danger, untrustworthy relationships. Everyday life feels built from the cutting-room floor of a B-movie production. When I re-read Pynchon's rhyme, "Tap my head and mike my brain/Stick that needle in my vein," I began to think of him as a prophet.

People disparage Pynchon as a self-indulgent postmodernist but I think there is a real moral power to his work. I'm only just putting this together, but I think Pynchon has tapped into the Tamanous spirit. Tyrone Slothrop, the sort-of protagonist, is a Tamanous-knight-- fighting or just evading the Faustian dragons? If that's right, it might explain why he's not more widely read these days.

Here are some evocative passages from my recent reading (from the Penguin Classics "Deluxe Edition"):

Far away, through the rain, comes the crack-blast of another German rocket. The third today. They hunt the sky like Wuotan and his mad army. [p. 74]

They all talk effectiveness, an American heresy, perhaps overmuch at "The White Visitation." Loudest of all, usually, is Mr. Pointsman, often using for ammo statistics provided him by Roger Mexico. By the time of the Normandy landing, Pointsman's season of despair was well upon him. He came to understand that the great continental pincers was to be, after all, a success. That this war, this State he'd come to feel himself a citizen of, was to be adjourned and reconstituted as a peace--and that, professionally speaking, he'd hardly got a thing out of it. [p. 76]

Pudding finds himself wondering, at times aloud and in the the presence of subordinates, what enemy disliked him enough to assign him to Political Warfare. One is supposed to be operating in concert--yet too often in amazing dissonance--with other named areas of the War, colonies of that Mother City mapped wherever the enterprise is systematic death: P.W.E. laps over onto the Ministry of Information, the BBC European Service, the Special Operations Executive, the Ministry of Economic Warfare, and the F.O. Political Intelligence Department at Fitzmaurice House. Among others. When the Americans came in, their OSS, OWI, and Army Psychological Warfare Department had also to be coordinated with. Presently there arose the joint, SHAEF Psychological Warfare Division (PWD), reporting directly to Eisenhower, and to hold it all together a London Propaganda Coordinating Council, which has no real power at all. [p. 78]

Don't forget the real business of the War is buying and selling. The murdering and the violence are self-policing, and can be entrusted to non-professionals. The mass nature of wartime death is useful in many ways. It serves as a spectacle, as diversion from the real movements of the War. [p. 107]

The War needs to divide this way, and to subdivide, though its propaganda will always stress unity, alliance, pulling together. The War does not appear to want a folk-consciousness, not even of the sort the Germans have engineered, ein Volk ein Führer--it wants a machine of many separate parts, not oneness, but a complexity... [p. 133]

Lately, as if all tuned in to the same aethereal Xth Programme, new varieties of freak have been showing up at "The White Visitation," all hours of the day and night, silent, staring, expecting to be taken care of, carrying machines of black metal and glass gingerbread, off on waxy trances, hyperkinetically waiting only the right trigger-question to start blithering 200 words a minute about their special, terrible, endowments. An assault. What are we to make of Gavin Trefoil, for whose gift there's not even a name yet? (Rollo Groast wants to call it autochromatism.) Gavin, the youngest here, only 17, can somehow metabolize at will one of his amino acids, tyrosine. This will produce melanin, which is the brown-black pigment responsible for human skin color. Gavin can also inhibit this metabolizing by--it appears--varying the level of his blood phenylalanine. So he can change his color from most ghastly albino up through a smooth spectrum to very deep, purplish, black. [p.149]

What did Caesar really whisper to his protégé as he fell? Et tu, Brute, the official lie, is about what you'd expect to get from them--it says exactly nothing. The moment of assassination is the moment when power and the ignorance of power come together, with Death as validator. When one speaks to the other then it is not to pass the time of day with et-tu-Brutes. What passes is a truth so terrible that history--at best a conspiracy, not always among gentlemen, to defraud--will never admit it. The truth will be repressed or in ages of particular elegance be disguised as something else. [p. 167]

Of course, the novel is abstruse, vulgar, obscene, violent, and confusing six ways to Sunday. But it also feels perfect to me.

Someone up-thread mentioned the visual arts, so I thought I'd share this podcast related to the performing arts.

I really enjoyed listening to them talk while I was cleaning my kitchen the other day.

Duncan and Osnes are both former NYC theater artists who are, superficially, very different: Duncan is the African-American son of a military mom, who grew up in Germany, Belgium, and Virginia, and identifies as a liberal and an atheist. Osnes is a white woman from the US Midwest who identifies as a conservative Christian. What they have in common, of course, is that both of them had successful NYC theater careers, and both got cancelled for refusing the jabs.

They have sort of a wide ranging conversation about working in theater, what different roles were like, what it means to practice the craft of acting, the rigid ideology of the NYC arts world, why they got cancelled and what they learned about themselves and their work, and what they are doing now - Duncan is podcasting, Osnes has started writing music. They also get into the future of theater a bit, and how in some ways, the insane pandemic response (and decline of NYC) may lead to a decentralization of the performing arts, which may in fact be a good thing (no argument there).

I thought there was some good food for thought on the performing arts, and the two actors/singers are good communicators, so I'm sharing it for anyone with an interest in these topics.

My daughter is in theater and got 3x vaccinated to keep working. She worked on a show in the fall and it was like a lunatic asylum. She was on a crew of 8 and 6 of the people got fired by week 3, and then 2 more of their replacements got fired. This was in a 10 week time period. There was a ton of stories about awful behavior and she now doesn't want to work in theater again.

But my daughter is completely in support of the vax and called me "anti-vax"in the most deriding way which stung. I reminded her of the fact that I made her get the latest meningitis vaccine before college, even though it wasn't required, because about 5-10 college students a year die of meningitis. But of course, that doesn't matter because all hail the holy covid vax. (Barf)

Dr. Llaila Afrika was the author of Nutricide: The Nutritional Destruction of the Black Race, a book with a wonderfully lurid cover. I remember seeing this book at work at the library from time to time, but its no longer in the system.

I just put this link here up for informational purposes only. I think of Dr. Afrika's books as being similar to Paul Bragg's books on health, and other similar holistic body-mind type systems that have been floating around. Certainly Afrika's influence on African-American alternative health is rather large, but I'm sure it has a lot of universal applicability. It's nice to see it being discussed by one of my favorite youtubers. For those who don't like video, you can easily just listen to the audio.

Has their been progress on the looking for physicians who have demonstrated or indicated their willingness to not follow trends dogmatically.

Ones that come to mind are of course those stand outs who were pushing back, and subsequently punished for maintaining sense the past few years.

I have seen a US resource float around for a network of physicians to consider, but am wondering if there is one for other countries or a more comprehensive resource. Can't exactly google these terms with any accuracy as the top results end up being COVID articles...

Alternatively, has anyone had success in developing new relationships with physicians which are more of a collaboration instead of interacting with a vending machine.

I redefine "physician"-- for me, the legal / professional categorization is no longer so important. In answer to your question, I have found an excellent acupuncturist. He took ample time to listen and discuss, and the treatment was effective.

CA now has a bill in committee (hopefully where it will die) to mandate the HPV vax for school. In talking to my wife she said with the HPV vax the public doesn't care, but the COVID vax people who took it are like, I sacrificed for the greater good, and those who didn't take the COVID vax were selfish. Like you should have been willing to take the risk of the new treatment to demonstrate your unselfishness toward your fellow citizens? Whether or not it worked isn't the issue, the unvaxxed's selfishness is the issue, apparently.

Also hearing more and more stories of Drs. poo-pooing patients' complaints and sending them home telling them whatever it is is minor, or has to take it's course, or isn't worth worrying about. I'll grant this started before COVID but has greatly increased after COVID. I mean I guess when your profession corners you into dismissing vax injuries you start to learn how to dismiss patients in general, right? I don't know if that's it but I wonder.

White Point and Santa Catalina Island, California

During a sunset walk in the “golden hour” at White Point just west of the Los Angeles harbor, I made a Los Angeles County Beaches & Harbor employee take a full step back in horror away from the bluffs of White Point as we chatted about local history. I was genuinely sorry to have frightened him but I am so done with pussy footing around about any government coverups. I’d asked him, who has worked at that site for many years, if he knew about the history of the Superfund site below the bluff we were standing on at White Point thanks to DDT and its manufacturing waste dumped there by Montrose Chemical Company from the early 1940’s for over 40 years.

I’d just spent an afternoon walking all over the White Point nature preserve with its Nature Center for children, the decommissioned US Army Coastal Defense artillery bunkers, a baseball field full of teenagers, and beaches with surfers and children playing in the San Pedro Channel waters. There was a plethora of educational signage about past changes and abuses of the land from Russians’ wiping out sea otters to sell their pelts for profits to Spanish importing livestock with exotic grass seeds in their hooves. The big concrete coastal defenses against enemy ships and submarines slowly crumbling. The majority of the land all around converted to dense urban development such as housing for Los Angeles Air Force Base personnel on streets named after the dead Apollo 1 astronauts and intercontinental nuclear missiles. But, no warnings anywhere about the fact one of the USA’s worst Superfund sites lurks on that shoreline as well as right offshore. No advice to anyone to avoid eating bottom feeding croaker, a fish very popular in local Asian markets. No recommendations to rinse off feet or bodies if one wades in the water or swims in it frequently.

I said to him maybe now there has been enough “mitigation” such as the planned placement of sand on top of the DDT waste barrels dumped very close to shore or the 30 year long dumping on seafloor sediments via an untreated sewer line leading to the channel just a few feet away from the baseball field. Nope. The only environmental caution there is a tall metal cyclone fence with Los Angeles County warnings that land closest to the old sewer outflow was subject to frequent landslides.

Landslides. No worries about Superfund level pollution there today. No warnings about DDT or its waste products like dioxins made in its manufacturing process. “Forever” manmade chemicals, highly toxic, carcinogenic, and can cause reproductive and developmental problems, damage the immune system, and interfere with hormones. Nothing in the Nature Center letting kids learn about how today dolphins in that channel have very high levels of dioxin in their blubber.

Checked the latest litigation news on the Montrose DDT mess. A 2000 settlement was supposed to chuck $11,000,000 at the Catalina Island Conservancy to help bring apex raptors like bald eagles back to that island (25 or so miles away from White Point) after DDT caused their shells to be too thin and thus the eagles disappeared for many decades on the island. Only in 2022 was a third generation bald eagle finally confirmed born on that island. More cash would go to a variety of cleanup strategies such as covering with sand the underwater toxic debris fields of barrels dumped too close to shore and discovered about ten years ago.

The County Beach & Harbor employee said we are all ”held to account” when I said our generation were little kids when this happened but we are the ones now who have to live with and clean up the mess. I said I hoped the County might put at least one sign somewhere at the Nature Preserve and one at the shoreline to explain the Montrose past and current history. But, we both laughed together, rolling our eyes as we discussed the chance of that happening soon given such public warnings could crash local residential real estate prices at minimum.

I said the County fee of $2 per car to park close to the beach made me think the County should pay us to use the beach. We laughed ruefully together.

I drove west into the sunset. Saw families with dogs and pushing children in strollers headed home from the White Point beaches. Overheard a young couple standing by the shore discussing how to pan fry a white fish when I stopped to take another photo of White Point. My heart fell.

A small park overlooking Santa Catalina Island has a monument with four leaping dolphins and an inscription praising Charlotte Ginsburg who helped found the Palos Verdes Land Conservancy. A tablet on a stone nearby honors Marilyn Ryan who helped incorporate Rancho Palos Verdes on 1973. A smaller plaque and a stone bridge honors police officer Randall Simmons killed in the line of duty in 2008.

DDT was outlawed for use in the USA in 1972 and that is when Montrose, still selling overseas, quietly stopped putting its waste directly into the sewer running untreated to the San Pedro Channel shore at White Point and started packing it into barrels for dumping offshore at both the Palos Verdes peninsula and Santa Monica Bay. Estimates are 2-3 thousand barrels every month were dumped offshore sometimes as close as 100’ from land. Many barrels which failed to sink fast enough were shot with bullets to make them sink.

Less than 100’ from the dolphin statute is the entrance gate to a new water front golf and residential development named “Trump National Golf Club.” I wondered how soon the former US president might admit his bat flu Warp Speed has been an epic disaster as Montrose Chemical Company was. Or if his California golf club has any educational signage about the Montrose Superfund ongoing disaster. I snapped a photo in the day’s fading light of a water carrier on a trailer and a tracked excavator which seem to be working on making new dirt pads for home sites. On recent satellite imagery I counted at least four dirt paths from his golf course to a long beach.

Thank you for this. Much to ponder here.

I am aware of one beach resort where the local business people all knew that hotels' sewage was being dumped close into the shore, in flagrant violation of regulations, but no one would openly complain because then it would ruin business. These places might look open because people visit from all over, however in many ways they are tiny, tight-knit worlds under a bell-jar.
