Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 75
Jan. 10th, 2023 01:34 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:
1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.
2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.
4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religious, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.
With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Another Study on IgG4 Tolerance
Date: 2023-01-13 05:40 pm (UTC)It looks like bad news for those who have taken an mRNA vax without having been infected previously. Immune tolerance continues to rise throughout the almost 250 day period post-vaccination that was looked at for people in that category. There's good news for those who took viral vector vaccines or took mRNA but had been infected previously, no tolerance was seen in those groups.
If the IgG4 tolerance ends up having increasingly negative effects, that will be bad news for all countries with high mRNA vax rates. Meanwhile, countries like Russia, China and India that didn't use mRNA look like they'll be spared the effects of tolerance. Australia and New Zealand are likely to be hit particularly hard, as they have very high vax rates and also extremely few who were infected prior to the vax rollout.
Tolerance is more extreme with Moderna than with Pfizer, which is not surprising considering Moderna uses a higher dose of mRNA.
This could also be part of the explanation of why Sweden has lower all cause mortality than other highly vaccinated countries. Sweden probably had a higher rate of people exposed to covid pre-vax, which means less tolerance. Sweden also avoided the lockdown-related deaths that so many other countries had, but I doubt that's still a significant factor in mortality at this point since the lockdowns are well in the past, so less tolerance could be an explanation of why they're still doing better than most other western nations.
Re: Another Study on IgG4 Tolerance
Date: 2023-01-13 07:50 pm (UTC)No clear worldwide signal that vixenation was a bad idea. Yeah it'll remain quite clear something's afoot but not enough to be able to convince the masses, especially if it's not in certain powerful peoples' interest. I now think the likely variance in the effectiveness of the vixens to actually produce pseudo spike proteins in cells will help obfuscate any clear population wide damage signal too. All cause mortality might be the only trustworthy pointer but even this likely rise will also be reflecting societies that are generally on 'the long descent'. On the plus side all this does help make GVB's more dangerous variant prophesy less likely I'd wager.

ANNE MILLER: It's really interesting because anything that has anything to do with covid is, it's like a trashcan. Everybody checks their brain cells in. I actually think it's demonic. I actually think that. Because I'm not kidding that [waves hand slowly in front of herself] there actually seems to be like—
GAIL SEILER: Yeah.
ANNE MILLER: —zoned out, checked out. And nobody has answers for you.
GAIL SEILER: I—[nodding vigorously]
ANNE MILLER: I noticed that in the hospital too. Like everything was just like, so, you're a doctor, you're an expert and you have this like great mind and you're a problem solver in every other realm of your expertise you're constantly trying to resolve and help your patients get healthy, but when it comes to covid you have no clue. Like, you're checked out.
GAIL SEILER: I agree. I agree. I noticed that too. I call it the stupid smart people syndrome where as soon as covid's mentioned they turn into these robots that just must do protocol. It's— you know, medicine used to be evidence-based where if a nurse or doctor saw that all their patients were dying from doing a specific thing, they would just, common sense would kick in and they wouldn't do that specific thing, right? You know? They would do something that worked. Now it's [inaudible] I have to do this thing that is on this screen. It's crazy. And it's not just the doctors and nurses, it's attorneys and politicians and all of these stupid smart people that hear covid and they can't think beyond their little box that they've been told to think in. So I agree.
ANNE MILLER: I mean, that is so accurate. I mean I literally like say that everything that has anything to do with covid is just straight-up evil and demonic and just literally puts people in this stupor. That's the word, stupor. They're in a stupor.

In other directions, though we can blame the USgov for much (including the DOD for all of it?), here's a gov resource I came across today for field medicine education. It's not my intended direction, but if anyone here feels compelled to learn how to triage/treat "in the field," take a look at https://www.deployedmedicine.com.
It's generally combat based and thus focused on trauma, but perhaps useful in other situations. There's also a K-9 series.
It's all free as best I can tell. Useful info for a time of gangrenous healthcare systems, perhaps. And that includes animal healthcare. There seems to be a crisis in veterinary medicine as well.

A Readership Survey
Date: 2023-01-13 09:50 pm (UTC)Strange in that it started off talking about someone who was vax injured - definitely a glitch in the Matrix.
Presumably someone got slapped around the head and the Guardian is now back to core globalist narrative with this article: "I was wrong’: how Covid conspiracies became a gateway to extreme views"
https://www.theguardian.com/society/2023/jan/11/we-walked-into-a-trap-anti-vaxxers-on-life-after-conspiracy-theories
"Some Covid deniers have regrets, but others have joined more extremist hate movements"
" . . . Covid-19 conspiracy theories have acted as a gateway drug to other, more extreme views."
So can we have a survey of contributors on here. Put your hand up if:
- you have joined an extremist hate movement
- your conspiracy theories have lead you to more extreme views e.g. Joe Biden is not the bestest POTUS ever
- you have regrets at the absence of stamps on your booster bingo card
Nb. Vale old Joe who's being set up to carry the can for the emerging disaster in Ukraine. Loved his press conference where he talked about his Corvette being in the same garage as the Top Secret docs.
Re: A Readership Survey
Date: 2023-01-14 08:01 am (UTC)The interesting thing about the cardiologist mentioned in the Guardian article above, is that he is strongly in favour of vaccination generally but is concerned about mRNA vaccines which are completely different in composition and mode of action to any vaccines previously used. He fears the unfolding disaster caused by these Covid vaccines could scare most people away from vaccinations generally, leading to many terrible epidemics in the future. Yet still he is demonized.

I keep thinking these stories, collectively, will get some legs and the public will finally wake up. But in my blue, blue, blue neck of the woods, the narrative is still welded in place. About the only chink in the narrative armor I can discern is that the vax devotees are mostly not lining up for the boosters.

TRANSCRIPT - EXCERPT
YEHIEL: My name is Yehiel, I am 48. When all the vaccination issue rose, my wife got vaccinated first. I was hesitating because I already have a few background issues. I have autoimmune disease—I suffer from Crohn's. I waited to see how it affects other people. My dad, mom, sister, everybody got vaccinated. One month, two months had passed, and I saw everyone is fine. I said—let's get it done. I want to go to the gym. I want to be able to enter everywhere. I'm also self-employed working with different brands I need to visit. All of them demanded a green pass. I will get the shot, my body is strong and I can overcome anything.
I got the first shot. Seven days later I put my head on the pillow (at nighttime) I heard a very strong hiss inside my head for a few seconds, then it stopped. I didn't do anything, only was attentive to that. The next morning I got to the office. While working I felt a sharp pain inside my head (left side), so sharp I had to lay down. During the next two days I had to lay down I couldn't stand and I also had weakness in my brain. I was sure that was a stroke. I went to see a neurologist. I made an urgent appointment. He checked my reflexes and pupils. He said everything looks fine. If things get worse— turn to ER.
I went on going, not suspecting anything. I asked him if this could be a result of the vaccine. He said no way, that's nonsense. Everything is fine. How many children do you have? All is well.
And then three weeks had passed... The second shot... I wasn't scared, I didn't think it was related... I took the second shot and about 7 days after the second shot I heard, as if from a distance, a hiss in my ear. I thought— this is impossible, maybe my ear is dirty. I tried to shake my ear, to activate my jaws as if chewing bubble-gum. I thought— what could this be? I will wait for it to pass.
Quite rapidly, within a day or two, the hiss became very loud. I could not ignore it. I could hardly hear what people said to me because it was very disturbing. Later I found out that's what's called Tinnitus.
A few days later I went to see an ENT doctor. Her diagnosis was a problem in the joints of my jaws and recommended going to a dentist. The dentist and his colleague (an oral expert) examined me and said the mouth is healthy. Went back to the ENT doctor and said I think my hearing got poorer. She sent me to a hearing test. Although a light to mediocre (deterioration) but in significant frequencies, I felt I had a deterioration of my hearing.
A week after the tinnitus started in my left ear I hearing the hissing in my right ear. That was around Passover, we went on holiday with the kids. While sitting in the car the noise the kids made was impossible for me to bear. I couldn't understand.. It was as if someone took off my natural protection that seems to be in the ears against loud noises. As if the adjustment the brain does to regulate the outside noise does not exist. If a kid shouts, it gets right into my brain. It is pain I can't define. It is only later I understood this is called noise sensitivity— Hyperacusis. Hyperacusis—noise sensitivity. I went to the ENT doctor, I did a comprehensive hearing test. The final diagnosis was a significant damage to the ears.
6 months after the second shot my ears are hissing and it gets louder and louder. When I am exposed to loud noise, if I attend an event or after a weekend with the kids I get the the point where I can't... I almost get crazy. I manage to somehow absorb this and stay steady. Nobody... whenever I complain... whoever, friends... Nobody got hurt. Could it be your imagination? Maybe you are stressed from COVID or the vaccine? I don't think we get the same vaccine. People were not damaged. Me...
After the tinnitus appeared I felt pressure around my ears and in addition my neck felt rigid. When I look back, from my first shot until today approximately 6 months have passed, all that time I suffer pain inside my head 24/7. It started from my neck and spread to the head such pain that I don't know where to out myself... And this is accompanied by confusion, loss of memory, difficulty in concentration. While talking to someone I might not recall what the conversation is about. I am so scared to lose the focus in a conversation that if I am asked an extra question I prefer to ignore it. Or if someone comes suddenly... This was my survival level during those months. And my brain is my primary tool when I work. I am self-employed in the field of software.

Appeals Court Rules Against Vaccine Mandate in 3 States
Associated Press reported:
An appeals court has affirmed a ban in three states on enforcing a federal vaccine mandate for workers who contract with the federal government.
A panel of the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Cincinnati on Thursday affirmed a lower court’s ruling that said the mandate was unconstitutional.
President Joe Biden’s administration is not enforcing the rule while legal battles play out around the country.
A federal judge in Louisville, Kentucky, blocked the Biden rule in November 2021 for that state and two others: Tennessee and Ohio. The mandate requires workers contracting with the federal government to wear face masks and be vaccinated for COVID-19.
The Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals issued a similar ruling in December for Indiana, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Pence: Discharged Military Members Should Be Reinstated, Get Back Pay Over Vaccine Mandates
The Hill reported:
Former Vice President Mike Pence in an exclusive interview called on the Biden administration to reinstate and provide back pay to members of the military who were discharged for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine now that the mandate for the shot has been lifted.
Pence, in a Wednesday interview with The Hill, called it “unconscionable” that some troops were put in a position to decide between serving their country and complying with the vaccine mandate, which was instituted in August 2021. The mandate was rescinded through a bipartisan defense policy bill signed into law late last year.
In a memo announcing the mandate had been dropped, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said those who were discharged can petition for a change in the characterization of their discharge in personnel records.

TRANSCRIPT -- EXCERPT ON SHEDDING
39:35
DR. PETER A. MCCULLOUGH: Dr. Harvey Risch* appeared with me on Laura Ingraham, the Ingraham Angle, and he presented a case, a vignette from the CDC Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, and it was a breastfeeding mother who, ill-advised took the vaccine, and then a few days later the baby suffers a hemorrhagic death. And you can imagine, a breastfeeding infant, how rare that would be to have some horrific thing happen to the baby. And Dr. Risch just presented it, said, listen, here's just a case example.
In your view as a doctor who looks after children, but probably advises many as they move into womanhood, should a woman ever, while they're pregnant or breast feeding, consider one of these vaccines?
DR. MICHELLE PERRO: That's an easy, that's simple, no. No, no, and then again no. Because number one, I mean, it's not like the placenta protects the fetus from whatever the mother receives. Whatever the mother receives the baby receives. The placenta is not a barrier, there's an open exchange, right? Absolutely. And then of course through the breastfeeding everything's transmitted through the breast, but also we know that the vaccine is, people who have been vaccinated transmit spike protein through their breath, through the skin, this [?] nanotechnology. And I've had a lot of people unvaccinated who develop symptomatology from those around especially recently vaccinated.
DR. PETER A MCCULLOUGH: OK, I want to pick up on this. So this is shedding. This is the most common question I get, of shedding. And all of you listening to the McCullough Report who are going to ask about shedding, I'm here with Michelle Perro, and Michelle is an expert, she's from California. And I want to hear your clinical experience. What have you have you seen that you clinically think are legitimate shedding vignettes?
DR. MICHELLE PERRO: Absolutely. And you know, and I would share with you that I live in an area that's highly vaccinated. So there have been a lot of people around shedding. And I myself experienced it. Recently-vaxxed-with-a-booster friend, that I didn't know, because if I hear someone's recently boosted, I run for the hills. My own husband had to go into, he didn't get boosted, but he had to go into the other room for a-- another story, Peter. But anyway, I picked up on this. I got vertigo. And I had to use all the techniques I knew to clear my vertigo immediately after being with her. Never had vertigo. Vertigo is spinning, for the listeners. And I thought, no, baby. And so I used the various of techniques to help clear that spike protein, including things to dissolve spike, things to bind spike, things to clear spike. I did everything.
DR. PETER A MCCULLOUGH: So what did you do? Because people, this is the most common question I get. Just, I mean, now again, we don't have large randomized trials, we don't have government research. Governments are not acknowledging vaccine injuries, let alone even shedding. But we're hearing from an expert today, Dr. Perro. What did you do for yourself?
DR. MICHELLE PERRO: I'll tell you what I did. And remember, Peter, there was a time where case reports were what physicians read. Remember the case report? I would read those with gusto, thinking like, oh, a clinical case, what did you do?
So this is what I did. Because I have no doubt in my mind I got, I call it spikeproteinitis, spikeproteinopathy, whatever you want to call it, from my friend.
First of all, I took Ivermectin. And I took it to bind spike.
DR. PETER A MCCULLOUGH: How much?
DR. MICHELLE PERRO: I took 12 milligrams twice a day and I took it for three weeks because my vertigo wasn't clearing. It was getting better, but it wasn't clearing. That was the first thing I did.
I took NAC, N-acetyl cysteine, the precursor of glutathione the master antioxidant in your body. I took 900 milligrams twice a day. 11-AC, and you need a lot of antioxidant to protect you from being oxidized because the basis of all disease is oxidation, which is loss of electrons. This is the basis of every disease, autoimmunity, cancer, etc. So I took NAC. I'm a big fan.
I took zinc with circadin. And circadin helps zinc get into cells, it's a zinc ionophore. And I took zinc picolinate which is a zinc that I like as an integrative practitioner. And I took 25 milligrams of zinc a day. I didn't want to do more than that for myself because zinc and copper are in a balance, so you don't want to over zincify because then you can throw your copper out of balance. And you need copper as a metalloenzyme for a lot of reactions in your body. So be careful with that zinc-copper relationship.
Some people say take 50 milligrams of zinc a day. Maybe you get away with it, but I started with 25, knowing about the copper and I didn't want to offset it.
The circadin I took about 200 milligrams twice a day. You can take way more than that, but that's what I started with, and seeing how I did. OK.
I did vitamin D. I take vitamin D with K2. I never take Vitamin D alone, because it can offset calcium. I took 10,000 a day. Why? because it's a hormone. It's great for immune function. I decided to alert my body that it needed some assistance. Alright?
I didn't feel like I was getting covid. Like, how did I know I wasn't getting covid? Because I didn't have the things I see with initial onset of covid. Most of my patients who first get covid get brain fog, fatigue. The initial symptoms are brain fog and fatigue. We're not seeing in the [?] and all that, at least initially. Then they start getting the other symptoms, the profound myalgias [muscle aches and pains]. So it's, when they start getting the weird brain fog and the fatigue, then I know they're going to get covid. I didn't have any of that. I just had the vertigo.
DR. PETER A. MCCULLOUGH: That is such an important encapsulation. And these are suggestions, again, not proven. But I want to anticipate, we're years away from conclusive studies to even nail this down.
Now what have you seen clinically, in terms of a shedding vignette? A patient comes in and tells you something. What have you seen that's most tractable and most significant?
DR. MICHELLE PERRO: I'd have to say, of all the things I've seen, and this is mostly the moms of my patients, is that, abnormal menses. And the women report, those who've been exposed to vaxxed and they start from, let's say, the shedding, heavy bleeding, more frequent bleeding, menorrhagia, and menometrorrhagia, and women who've been in menopause starting their period again, bleeding.
DR. PETER A. MCCULLOUGH: From shedding or the vaccine or both?
DR. MICHELLE PERRO: From both. Because these people are [?] living in a highly vaccinated community. And I knew when these peaks were coming is because when they pushed the boosters. I think the booster was like, the really bad, like, nail in the coffin. As if not the first two were benign, but it was that booster that really got things going. So I think those GYN, the bleeding thing got me really concerned. And I read the spike, you know concentrating in the ovary, you know. It likes fatty tissue, and likes bone marrow, likes the brain, likes other—
DR. PETER A. MCCULLOUGH: Right, so on my twitter feed today I just reposted the really good review by Bret Weinstein, Steve Kirsch and Robert Malone on the Japanese bio-distribution study which clearly showed lipid nanoparticles accumulating over the course of 48 hours in the ovaries of mammals that were in this study. No messenger RNA involved, just the lipid nanoparticles.
And in a paper from China before Covid 19, that I've also summarized multiple times, shows that the lipid nanoparticles do concentrate in the corpus luteum of the ovaries.
So it makes sense, installation of the code for the spike protein, disrupting cells. I literally had my last guest on the McCullough Report from Greece indicated, he thinks every cell that takes up the genetic material and expresses the spike protein is killed.
DR. MICHELLE PERRO: Well, I feel that to be true, too. I think that's actually accurate.

Press Release
For Immediate Release
In a groundbreaking decision filed today, NY State (NYS) Supreme Court Judge Gerard Neri held that the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for healthcare workers is now “null, void, and of no effect.” The court held that the NYS Dept. of Health lacked the authority to impose such a mandate as this power is reserved to the state legislature. Furthermore, the court found that the mandate was “arbitrary and capricious” as COVID-19 vaccines do not stop transmission, vitiating any rational basis for a mandate.
Children’s Health Defense (CHD) financed this lawsuit on behalf of Medical Professionals for Informed Consent and several individual healthcare workers. Sujata Gibson, lead attorney, said, “This is a huge win for New York healthcare workers, who have been deprived of their livelihoods for more than a year. This is also a huge win for all New Yorkers, who are facing dangerous and unprecedented healthcare worker shortages throughout New York State.”
CHD President Mary Holland stated, “We are thrilled by this critical win against a COVID vaccine mandate, correctly finding that any such mandate at this stage, given current knowledge is arbitrary. We hope that this decision will continue the trend towards lifting these dangerous and unwarranted vaccine mandates throughout the country.”
We are off to a great start in 2023.

In the Time of Bat Flu: A Swiss Crossroads
Date: 2023-01-14 07:30 am (UTC)A Swiss Crossroads
January 13, 2023
Last month I drove from Basel, Switzerland to the nearby oldest known Roman Empire town on the Rhine river founded right after the Roman Empire conquered local Helvetic and Germanic people. Right where the Rhine carves through a break in the Jura Mountains, the last big terrain barrier from Italy across the Alps to the gently rolling countryside of Germany and France.
The Rhine is still a massive trade route connecting Switzerland, Germany and France to the North Sea which in turn connects to Scandinavia, the Low Countries and the British Isles. I had a warm feeling as I headed to the ruined Roman town of Augusta Raurica, today near the towns of Augst and Kaiseraugst, knowing the Roman Empire could never conquer most of my fierce forebears from Ireland, Scotland and northern Germany. I come from a long line of people who said, ”Heck no!” to anyone thinking they could conquer us.
I drove by a super fancy dark grey high rise with tinted black windows in downtown Basel. “Moderna” on its facade. I recalled its only profitable products to date. Both used as experimental. A vaccine for anthrax used by the US military right after 9/11 until withdrawn from use after killing and maiming too many soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines. The other a corona virus spike mRNA snippet packed into a lipid nanoparticle designed to get inside every cell in the body. All doses paying substantial patent royalties to US federal salaried employees. I thought of how fast are the highways and railroads from Basel to the UN’s WHO headquarters in Geneva which pushed hard the latter product for worldwide use.
Standing by Basel’s main train station is the Brutal Minimalist style cylindrical high rise of the private Bank of International Settlements which was set up after WW1 to process war reparations demanded from the war’s losers by the winners. One can partially blame it for enabling and profiting from the wild hyperinflation in 1920’s Germany as that country fired up its currency printing presses to pay off those reparations. Before and during WW2 its Swiss for-profit corporation bank board of directors included the head of the German Reichsbank. Any looted gold or cash from the countries his country conquered could be quickly laundered across international borders by the BIS. Today, some leaders in that bank want all cash to be digital to be easier to track and control by any banks: for-profit, non-profit, and governmental.
I could see north across the Rhine the twin white asymetrical star-architect geometric towers of the effectively private pharmaceutical company Roche. I thought of sitting in San Mateo, California about 6 years ago with its chief counsel from its offices and labs then at the Stanford Research Park in Palo Alto. He told me how it had the patent on Tamiflu which worked superbly he said to knock down flu symptoms if taken shortly after symptom onset but his company, he lamented, did not market it well to help our fellow humans. No, instead, they made it prescription-only thus no over-the-counter sales allowed. He said everyone should have it as a prophylactic in their home medicine cabinets. But the patent was to expire soon. “No one can really profit much from it,” he said hence the low sales. I thought the real issue was that big pharma company wanted people to be sicker than healthier.
A short time later, I stayed a few nights at the home of a friend who came down one evening with the worst flu she’d ever had. I begged her - completely flattened in bed - the next morning to call her doctor for a Tamiflu prescription. I drove to a nearby pharmacy to get it. Within about 5 hours of taking her first dose she was out of bed, eating and chipper.
Another time I spent literally weeks trying to get pain relief for a relative stuck at Stanford Hospital in an ICU. Finally, I got the “pain team” to prescribe oral CDB oil. Within minutes of the first dose, the patient fell into her best sleep in over 6 weeks. Not much corporate profit from that old school medicine made from common weeds.

I crossed many train tracks through Basel leading to the old dyestuffs factories now mostly pharmaceutical factories as I speed east along a highway. A small medieval stone tower above a hill flashed above as I entered the Hapsburg tunnel.
That little tower where the Rhine River cuts through the Jura Mountains gave the Hapsburg royal family their first toehold of power as the local warlord/toll takers guarding that watery trade route chock point. It took WW1 to end that royal family’s territory powers by stopping their godly oil-anointed 500+ year rule which had once covered the Philippines, Mexico, most of the southern USA, much of Central and South America and the Caribbean, Spain, the Low Countries, Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, plus parts of Italy and the Balkans. Their family motto? A-E-I-O-U which some say stands for “Austria est imperio optime unita” (“Austria is the best united empire”). What hubris!
Flashed by more industrial smokestacks along the Rhine to a postcard perfect Swiss town and suddenly there was an intact Roman Empire amphitheater. I tried to imagine Roman citizens being entertained by bread & circuses. A performance of a play written by an Ancient Greek.
A flag waving SPQR, “Senatus Populsque Romanus” for the Senate and People of Rome. Coins flashing with that motto. Carved into cornerstones and statues of public monuments. How many wanted to be citizens of Rome to have all the legal privileges of the people of that empire’s capitol city?
Walked up to the footings of an old Roman temple surmounting a small hill. Roman priests picked that spot after rolled animal bones as a kind of dice and making animal sacrifices picking through the entrails to see if the site was propitious. Perhaps a Roman solider recruited from Egypt watched standing next to one born near Pompeii. A few Germanic and Helvetic men recruited as mercenaries with the Roman army, very willing to use the Romans’ better weaponry and tactics to defeat their old local warlords and tribal “barbarian” old enemies.
Walked around a restored Roman flour mill and bake shop by the temple. Odd to see samples of ancient popular and highly nutritious grains such as dinkel and spelt. Hard to find bread made with those in any modern big USA grocery store chain but easy to find in health stores and artisanal small bakeries.
- - -
I thought of the Ohlone people who lived along the Permanente River in Santa Clara County, California where I live now. About 90% of their carbohydrates came from oak acorns before the Spanish army arrived. They watched the Spanish Empire - yes, then ruled by members of the Hapsburg royal family - as Franciscan Roman Catholic priests sprinkled holy water and waved a smoking incense burner to bless the site of the present day Santa Clara Mission a couple hours walk from my home.
The Spanish King then had an Office of the Indies with books and plans for how to build new towns in his newly conquered lands all based on the old Roman Empire’s model to “civilize” and also control newly conquered “barbarians” who would pay new taxes to flow into the king or emperor’s purse. A town with a strict grid of streets. Plenty of fresh water. A river to take away sewage. Everyone lives in town in closed packed houses near a temple, an army fort, a forum market with a government weights official, baths, amphitheater, and if a big enough town a coliseum. A few wealthy people were allowed to have villas in the countryside to run big farms with the help of slaves and other workers.
Those Spanish and Roman empires’ soldiers and priests had such self-justifying high hopes. Bringing civilization and a new True Religion to the pitiful barbarians!
A few days later in downtown Basel I saw a coin minted in barbarian Gaul (France) before the Romans set up their first military outpost at Augusta Raurica. It had a crudely modeled human head and blobby edges. Made me think of well made Spanish silver doubloons from the 1500’s through the 1800’s minted from Mexican or Peruvian silver and then stamped with Chinese characters and cut into ever smaller pie-shaped pieces for use all around the rim of Pacific Ocean. The importance of a trusted unit of coinage to make trading as smooth as possible instead of reliance on small scale local bartering or bank notes, those flimsy paper letters of credit from banks.
It’s fascinating that throughout Switzerland today, a hub of international banking, that most citizens there prefer to use cash for their daily life. They rarely run up a credit card bill not fully paid off monthly. They still have a rugged independence hard-won from battles fought against their many crazy national neighbors with dreams of world empires.
In most shops, even the big grocery store chains, one can find organic biodynamic foods. Dinkel and spelt bread is common. Agricultural land is strictly protected. Manure is still spread annually on those fields even if surrounded by Basel’s garden suburbs in the very best residential neighborhoods. An open air street market with small vendors’ tables in the old town section of Basel where a walled Celtic village used to sit still sells local raw food and it’s very popular just as were the forum vendors of Augusta Raurica.
I took a walk on hill at the southern edge of Basel-Stadt for a view of the Goetheanum institution founded more than 100 years ago by Rudolph Steiner, the father of biodynamic agriculture and a hospital which is still working to revive the use of many old mostly herbal medical practices. He also dove deep into spiritual studies on good and evil. I wondered what he’d think of these times of the bat flu as I walked by a compost heap in a working farm field. My mind floated up trying to connect with the astral plains he studied but it stayed rooted below my feet in the here and now.

Date: 2023-01-14 01:54 pm (UTC)Anyhow, some members of the “true facts” group have been trying to draw the attention of the Shadow Minister of Health (I know, the title sounds malevolent, but it is simply the Opposition Party’s Member of Parliament whose official job is to mercilessly harass the Minister of Health) of abnormalities in government statistics related to coof, death, etc. No big surprise that so far there has been no response: the last thing the Conservative Party wants is to be labelled “anti-foxer” at a time when most of the population still embraces foxes! Still, “true facts” supporters are playing a long game and it will be interesting to see if/when the tide turns on the whole pro-fox narrative and how the government’s own statistics can be used to fashion a hangman’s noose and if/how/when the Conservatives help to tie the hangman’s knot.
A couple letters to the Shadow Minister of Health – along with a whole bunch of ‘weird stats’ – can be found here: https://www.thetruefactsc19.com/post/a-letter-to-mp-dr-stephen-ellis

Date: 2023-01-14 10:38 pm (UTC)Even if Jeff Childers is right about there possibly ALREADY being one world government, one GUY-- and Naomi Wolf is saying something similar in terms of what kind of people and the kind of childish illuminati "three stooges conducting a black mass"* THINKING truly runs the show-- ideas abound like the old saw about assholes and everyone having one, and often are irrelevant or just more "what can I do about it?"(-say millions of people, indeed)...and are often intended to keep us distracted. The whole thing is rancid.
The truth is: It hasn't been OUR country for a long time.
It wasn't just the bonus marchers or the blacks the poor whites...
Now I remember why King was adamant that those who did nothing against injustices are complicit...
It's not just a mensch thing to be decent... it's enlightened self interest because of that other old saw about dehumanizing others dehumanizes you...
From there anything goes in this race to the bottom
Again we artists are up as per Ursula Leguin's quote about us pitching this Love Thang and how tediously BORING evil is.
Mordor is boring. So is san fracisco.
Thus they are the same.
Visionaries...If we can't compete with the bill and Melinda gates foundation, Davos and the WEF, SBF, his girl, and the luggage twink, we've got it coming.
Like Transcriber exalting the lowly common meme by making what is old new, she also added a facet... a message... a hint... a beloved wink...
GOOD ART IS FOREVER
And means you went to ...no beyond the bone... you went Giacometti....to its True essence...
And regardless of whether it's demons assholes or regular humans being human...
What is classic forever and eternal is:
WE ARE NOT WHO WE THINK WE ARE.
Many Quakers back in the day withheld the military portion of their taxes and went to jail for their belief in peace.
It's come back to time to starve the beast... parallel system or bust.
I wanna hope that Naomi's BODIES OF OTHERS could be like how UNCLE TOM'S CABIN was a boost to the abolition of slavery cause, and this makes ME more interested in the states breaking apart from the federal system because regarding the pandemic and tech titans ...
EEEEEEEEW!
Read HER BOOK...
.... it's all rigged, if you read her case and all the financial tech and governmental connections. This is back to what Baldwin was on about...when you niggrify others you niggrify...DEHUMANIZE yourself.
Took me a long time and a lot of rearranging what I thought or was told was PRETTY...
So that's why it's not even hidden that we're they're food.
I really didn't wanna be the Filipina maid sleeping in the kids' discarded plastic toy mansion in the back yard of a cheesy Florida versailles ...but that's where we all are now.
We're not even the level of food.... that gets at least falsely prayed over...
If you really want to scare yourselves good and solid, read OTHER PEOPLE'S BODIES...
for we're beneath food...
WE ARE THE DISCARDED PLASTIC TOY MANSION, and we gave up all that is good holy sacred and hot for a world of SBX, his girlfriend, and the bald trasvestite luggage thief..
(More giggling Vincent Price)
REALLY? Read her book and see if you can't identify with those who don't want to know why suddenly young healthy people are winking out.
Yes... I most definitely need many fluorescent screen colors...
Regardless of who's doing what you're doing Giacommetti's work of paring past the distractive fluff and getting to the true essence when your answer response reaction is THE SAME.

Date: 2023-01-15 11:32 am (UTC)"When the bubonic plague struck Geneva in 1530, everything was ready. They even opened a whole hospital for the plague victims. With doctors, paramedics and nurses. The traders contributed, the magistrate gave grants every month. The patients always gave money, and if one of them died alone, all the goods went to the hospital.
But then a disaster happened: the plague was dying out, while the subsidies depended on the number of patients. There was no question of right and wrong for the Geneva hospital staff in 1530. If the plague produces money, then the plague is good. And then the doctors got organized.
At first, they just poisoned patients to raise the mortality statistics, but they quickly realized that the statistics didn't have to be just about mortality, but about mortality from plague. So they began to cut the boils from the bodies of the dead, dry them, grind them in a mortar and give them to other patients as medicine. Then they started dusting clothes, handkerchiefs and garters. But somehow the plague continued to abate. Apparently, the dried buboes didn't work well. Doctors went into town and spread bubonic powder on door handles at night, selecting those homes where they could then profit. As an eyewitness wrote of these events, "this remained hidden for some time, but the devil is more concerned with increasing the number of sins than with hiding them."
In short, one of the doctors became so impudent and lazy that he decided not to wander the city at night, but simply threw a bundle of dust into the crowd during the day. The stench rose to the sky and one of the girls, who by a lucky chance had recently come out of that hospital, discovered what that smell was.
The doctor was tied up and placed in the good hands of competent “craftsmen.” They tried to get as much information from him as possible. However, the execution lasted several days. The ingenious hippocrats were tied to poles on wagons and carried around the city. At each intersection the executioners used red-hot tongs to tear off pieces of meat. They were then taken to the public square, beheaded and quartered, and the pieces were taken to all the districts of Geneva.
The only exception was the hospital director's son, who did not take part in the trial but blurted out that he knew how to make potions and how to prepare the powder without fear of contamination. He was simply beheaded "to prevent the spread of evil".
