I'm pleased to say that with no small amount of help from well-informed friends, I've prepared a questionnaire for those of my readers who have been taking the Carey cell salt protocol, as described here and further outlined here and here. At this point we can begin gathering a first round of quantitative and qualitative data. All data collected in the survey will of course be confidential -- no names or other identifying data are requested, and the data will be published only in bulk form. A couple of comments might be helpful. First, if any of my readers are looking for a free online survey site, do not bother with SurveyMonkey. Their free account only lets you do a 10 question survey, but it's impossible to find this out until you've constructed your survey; then it tells you that you can't post it unless you want to fork over a lot of money.
Second, several people suggested in the post discussing the questionnaire that I ought to use a fine-grained set of ethnic categories instead of very broad categories such as White/European, Black/African, etc. I understand their logic but I ended up going with the latter, for the simple reason that I don't expect to get enough responses to get statistically significant clusters in the fine-grained categories. My working guess is that this survey will get somewhere in the range of 100-200 responses, and at that level very broad categories are necessary. If the project gets a much larger response I'll look at a more finely divided survey.
The final point I'd like to make is that this is a preliminary reconnaissance, intended to gather a first general sampling of data. A couple of months from now I'll post another survey, and probably a third one several months further on; those will be refined on the basis of the results of this survey, and also on the basis of further research. These are early days yet. In a month or so, when the data has come in, I'll post a summary here -- and away we go.

I do drink black/oolong/gree tea and soft drinks and eat chocolate.
Also a bonus question for alcohol - how did it effect you - same as or different.

Date: 2020-05-25 08:59 pm (UTC)Re: open-ended survey questions on mental & physical health, perhaps in the introduction certain categories (but not conditions) could be mentioned; for example, attitude, memory, sleep, dreams, digestion, nails/hair, teeth, feet, seasonality/climate, etc. It might be helpful to participants to add a note with an estimated time for completion (i.e. 10 to 20 minutes). Household size and description might be helpful for some context. I'm not sure how that could be asked without making the survey too unwieldy. Perhaps something to consider at the very end of the study with additional notes/thoughts.
Sleep came to mind as something i thought of too late to add the survey comments. Upon waking this morning, i realized that since starting the protocol, I seem to be sleeping better with fewer nights of disturbed sleep or insomnia. My fingernails seem more brittle, but given the time they take to grow, any effects of the protocol will take some time to manifest. One other thing (maybe it's just my imagination), my cataracts don't seem to be bothering me as much. My scheduled (this May) cataract surgery was cancelled because of that-which-shall-not-be-named. Will see what happens when i get back to the doctor.
Re: the above comment about coffee. Timing might be a factor here, as I enjoy drinking a good cup of coffee typically around mid-morning to noon. I've never been a first-thing-in-the-morning-or-I'm-not-human coffee drinker. Coffee too early in the day might be a factor with the effectiveness of the cell salts. At least for some people, and not at all for others.

Date: 2020-05-27 11:52 pm (UTC)Just finished my first pass of the lunar salts. I've been two weeks in with the protocol of the bioplasma. I am starting late so I am wondering if I should wait to input my data for next round. I was surprised on the first dose of bioplasma though. I felt an etheric component to it. Similar to what I feel when consecrating water or doing chi balls but in my head. Bad headache when I woke up, salts on the mail. That first dose helped to relieve it. Cool stuff! Do cell salts have an etheric component? Interesting to see too, that one of the cell salts is used for hyperacidity, which I have. Do you know where I can find how to use that specific salt in a more regular basis should that be helpful?
As for using the latest trendy fashion for picking up girls. I'm afraid that is not an alternate reality anymore. I did my pass through school not long ago and people are starting to use scientific buzzwords to delve dates into dorm rooms and shiny laptops with flashing logos for the same effect convertibles used to have. That is how I lost my now ex-girlfriend for good to a guy that dressed up as an electron for Halloween from an ivy league. As a physics student at the moment I made a salty physics joke about that. Of course they didn't get it because it didn't matter so...
