come back later Things are piling up very quickly for me and so I've decided to go on hiatus here and on my blog for the rest of January. I expect to be posting again by February 1.  I'll log on semiregularly to put through comments, so the Frugal First Friday and Covid Open Posts can continue as before. have a good month, and I'll be back in due time!

Ha! I just got out of bed and turned on the coffee machine. I am tempted to take your advice.

But seriously: Godspeed and may you succeed in your endeavours.

That said, if anyone needs Healing Hands at any point in January, please PM me or reply to this comment with your name and request. Thanks, and a happy break to JMG.

Kyle I would really like to join your discussions over at Animatio since I have been deeply involved with the subject since the early 1980s. However at this point in the history of world events I refuse to create a social media account. Have you any other way of including me?

Understandable. I made it a private group probably for some of the same reasons you don't want to sign up for an account. Namely, when people discuss the occult on the internet, many of them want to avoid anyone else finding out their identity. The same could be accomplished with a public group and the ability to post anonymously.

What that lacks is that the discussions are available not only to the public but also any web crawlers including AI training crawlers, which I want to avoid. Those of us who don't post anonymously, like myself, may still want their writings to be hidden from casual AI and search engines.

You may not realize this since you aren't in the group yet, but I also included a participation requirement that each person must post one meaningful post and one meaningful comment on another's post per year. I did this because lurkers don't add anything to a group. An anonymous forum makes this requirement impossible to enforce.

All that said, I don't want to keep you away from the discussion if you have contributions to make. As far as how to take care of privacy from prying eyes and bots, I am all ears if you have suggestions. Maybe some sort of email discussion list would help, though that too would require you to attach yourself to an address. Let me know what you think.
