A year ago, as some of my readers may remember, I posted
an astrological experiment: a set of predictions for the next year of American history based on the return of the sun to its position in the
Thema Mundi -- the traditional natal horoscope of the world, as recorded in the writings of Roman astrologer Julius Firmicius Maternus. The experiment went well enough that I'll be doing it again. I should have the new predictions up in a few days.
First, though, here's a summary of how the earlier one worked out. I've posted it as a public entry on SubscribeStar
here and on Patreon
here. Let me know what you think.

Date: 2024-08-04 01:55 pm (UTC)I am not an astrologer, so obviously take my comments with the appropriate-sized grain of salt, but your analysis of Mars and Venus intrigued me.
Short version, Mars predicted a benefit to public health and Venus predicted a 'dumpster fire' for public health. My understanding of your analysis is that your Venus prediction was accurate and your Mars prediction less so.
I recently read a "complementary" interpretation of the Greeks Gods (https://www.greekmyths-interpretation.com/en/olympian-gods-interpretation/complementary-gods-greek-mythology/): [regarding Ares and Aphrodite} "This arrangement is in agreement with what has been said about humankind in its current stage: the necessary evolution of love through the destruction of forms"
If you consider your prediction for Mars benefiting public health by destroying forms, the release of data that acknowledges the dangers of the covid vaccines (https://www.lewrockwell.com/2024/07/no_author/a-closer-look-at-the-czech-republic-data-confirms-the-mrna-vaccines-are-too-deadly-to-be-used/), people winning court cases after wrongful termination for not getting the vaccine (don't have a link, but an article was published not too long ago), and doctors who were deplatformed for being 'vaccine skeptics' getting replatformed (though I don't know if that happened during the time period your prediction covers) all destroy the forms/narratives that were pushed previously. I consider the destruction of these forms a definite benefit.
There might be more examples, but I just discovered the greeksmyths-interpretation website on Friday and just started reading through it and I really liked how the complementary gods were presented and then you had a prediction where Mars and Venus both predicted the same thing, but went about it opposite ways. It seemed like a synchronicity I was supposed to share.
Also, you mentioned your prediction thought there should be a sex scandal, but there wasn't one you knew of. My husband mentioned to me that one of the radio talk shows he listens too predicted what one of the "October surprises" will be, if Kamala is actually still the nominee. Apparently during her rise to power in California, one of the local newspapers did a weekly column documenting her, uh, "connections" and payoffs. (Apparently, it includes pictures of her with various people of power, often in compromising positions.) According to the host, lots of people know of the articles. The question is who has access and will they release it and when? But it is already a topic of conversation in some circles...
Again, thank you for making this available.
The stars incline
Date: 2024-08-04 10:04 pm (UTC)Do you have any insight into Neptune's shift into Aries and its effect on public health? Would Neptune being peregrine diffuse any of the insanity over Covid and vaccines, or would the lessened dignity make the whole issue worse? Also, what do you think about the potential for a repair of relations between young men and women? Personally, the biggest thing keeping me away from dating is the sheer, unadulterated delusion that pours off women of my generation like sweat after a hard workout, the fact that this makes their personalities monumentally dull and one-note, and the way that society at large punishes me for their instability without recourse when they arbitrarily decide that I'm at fault. Aries does not seem delusional, hysterical, or manipulative, (to put it mildly), and I've been hoping that our society is in for some controlled burning and ram-like bluntness, so to speak. What are your thoughts?

Date: 2024-08-05 03:37 am (UTC)As for the current state of sexual politics, I expect the pendulum to go back the other way at some point, but it's anyone's guess when. Partly the world and the US are both insanely overpopulated, and many of the dysfunctions in relationships may be part of the process that drives down birth rates far enough to balance things out.

Date: 2024-08-05 07:57 pm (UTC)(Or like how, in an "exo-astrological" chart for something on another celestial body, that body's influence would have to no longer be called out separately and various areas of purview would have to be reassigned away from it, while some other purviews would have to be reassigned to Earth and Earth's effects would have to be called out separately. Ray Grasse speculates:
https://www.astro.com/astrology/in_rgexoastrology_e.htm
> The irony here is, it may wind up to be that only by moving off-planet we’ll finally learn exactly what the “Earth” means, as an astrological principle. How? Suppose we were doing horoscopes on Mars, and carefully watched as the Earth transited over someone’s midheaven; or watched every time Saturn squared the natal Earth in their chart; or every time Jupiter conjuncted that same degree. Over time, we’d surely start to get a feel for what the “Earth” means as a working, astrological principle. (Personally, I suspect we’ll discover that it’s closely resonant in nature with the zodiacal sign Taurus. Thinking about this in terms of zodiacal rulerships, the ultra-hot planet Venus seems more resonant to me with the “hot/dry” sign Libra, whereas the largely watery planet Earth seems more fitting to the “moist” sign Taurus. But others will have to make up their own minds.)
It could even turn out to not be just an academic question. I'm less pessimistic than you about the radiation problems with space travel (there's clever engineering to be attempted with multipole electrical fields and perhaps long-path diffraction lensing), and somewhat less pessimistic about the energy problems, but a bit more pessimistic about some other things.)
So maybe in a mundane chart for the world, the planets would become significators for different power blocs or populations (or ecological guilds https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guild_(ecology) , or ecosystems, or...).
