I found the link to the chronology in case anyone is interested (or even still looking at this thread.) The chronology covers 2006-2020.

To make a correction to my post above, January 10 was when the Corman/Drosten assay for the PCR test was released. The WHO published the PCR protocols on January 17, 2020.
