lying, not wrongWe are now winding up the third year of these open posts. As the phrase "died suddenly" repeats in the mass media like a mantra, statistics for work days lost to illness and all-cause mortality mount up in heavily vaccinated nations, and more and more ugly facts about the official response to Covid spill out into public, we are entering what may well turn out to be the most difficult period of the Covid disaster -- the phase in which denial rises in lockstep with the death rate, and a great many people try not to admit what has been done to them by the people and institutions they trusted. It could get ugly, folks.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

As I said my hypothesis on the demonic bargain has a testing ground, also there are other demonic hypothesis out there that came independent of me, this blog, or JMG:

The best documented and fascinating one is the fact that DIVOC(alternative spelling in latin alphabet dybbuk, demon) in Hebrew is spelled as דיבוק. Its author is making a lot of research with references, and providing links to occult literature.

Let's take an avid anti-Trumper, Leslie Wexner who bragged publicly that he is possesed by a dybbuk that tells him what to do.
Now what does you Occam razor tells you about this case, but personally I wonder what if Leslie is not alone in this, what if this people asked their dybbuk to help them out, I mean one thing is the Magical Resistence clumsly invoking Krumpus and Lilith another thing is someone who is already possesed by a demon:

Leslie Wexner is not even an closet anti-trumper but a very vocal one:

There are a few serious weirdos in every group. You place a lot of emphasis on this one man being "anti-Trump", as many millions of Americans are. Now, I know the range of political opinions that are acceptable in this group and am not arguing to broaden it. I just want to offer the hypothetical opposite scenario in which someone proposed to blame Covid on blowback from, let's say, alt-righters having publicly put a lot of energy into rather unsavory entities such as Kek and Pepe. I think that would have been universally shouted down: That's ridiculous, obviously they're just looking for an excuse to blame people they hate for a catastrophe. But, to a neutral Martian or political moderate, if "leftist mages" is a plausible explanation for natural or man-made disasters, "rightist mages" is equally plausible and you'll have to expect that your opponents, if only in self-defense, will start using it.

Since witch hunts usually target the weak, to whatever extent people sincerely believe that their group or faction is not powerful, but oppressed or threatened, they should vehemently resist any effort to reintroduce to our culture the idea that disliked people can be accused of causing harm by thinking bad thoughts, or otherwise putting gunk out on the astral plane. Mind you, I think sometimes that really does happen. But when it becomes acceptable to make such charges based on nothing but someone's gut feelings, it always turns out that the number of innocent people falsely accused greatly outnumbers the real witches. We regularly see people who believe that all their family's health problems are caused by having at some point been near bad, dirty people. Statistics say most of them are wrong.

Thanks for this. You have a much more subtle and informed view of this than most. Still, I would be surprised if there were "significant numbers" of people on either side using magic. There were the guys who gleefully took "credit" for "causing" Hillary Clinton to trip and fall at a public event on camera, which was used to attack her; that's a type of cursing. But I would bet it involved at most 50 people of whom 48 lived in their moms' basements.

And, as you pointed out repeatedly at the time, smart mages would not spout off on the Internet about what they might be doing, giving others a head-start in countering it. So, the occasions you read about involved people with limited common sense and discretion. It could just be that leftist mages are ideologically more inclined to blab in public, while rightists are better at keeping their mouths shut.

Oh dear gods, it just clicked. One of the major differences between the Left and the Right at this moment in time is whether or not the ends justify the means, with a large segment on the Right rejecting that and making room for such things as truth, integrity, and process, while the Left increasingly rejects them, because the ends justify the means. All the people who were Leftists and now can't stand what has happens to their former comrades I know all reject the idea that the ends justify the means...

I'm the OP here. I'm basically your Martian since, I don't really care who gets into the White House:

1) Weirdos in every group. Are they proeminent in those group. Highly influencial? Why did he mention dybbuk and I don't know, a creative genie. I bet Yiddish has a dozen words for a creative spirit, etc?

2) I don't think I want some retribution to happen, I just to know what is happening to know at what level I can mobilise my spiritual powers in defence. If it ever comes to a hot Civil War in US these esoteric things no matter and people will turn on each other on just petty excuses. The more there is tension between the two poles the bigger and forcefull the discharge. Just like with electricity. For an external observer like me. The poles are getting less and less in touch to discharge and are getting charged with opposite charges with a quickening.
