Enjoyed the discussion about the Turtle Effect! "Low ranking turtles get crushed by the stack above them and leave the workforce." Indeed work is getting ever more pointless and crushing. We have forgotten customers even exist.
As a funny aside, the Urban Dictionary defines the Turtle Effect as "what happens to the male anatomy when it's cold outside."
