Essene Healing Open Post

Longtime reader and commenter Tunesmyth, who coordinates the Ecosophia Prayer List, had a useful suggestion over on this week's open post on my main blog: 

"Over in the thread on the prayer list where this discussion first came up, there have now been two MOE practitioners who have piped in with somewhat different perspectives about what is desired or needful regarding bringing healer and those needing healing together via the internet. I am certainly happy to play a part in making something happen, perhaps integrating or linked with the current prayer list in some way. But I think there first needs to a bit more of a conversation between those who are planning to do this work about what they would like to see happening, exactly, when it comes to making a site, and/or possibly adjusting the “healing” section of the Ecosophia prayer list.

"JMG, might I suggest that you might start a new MOE thread on the Dreamwidth site in order to facilitate a discussion within the full MOE practitioner community about this?"

That strikes me as a very good idea. So -- let's have that conversation. Those of you who want to practice Essene healing online, what do you need to direct healings and blessings toward people who need it? Those of you who need healing, what level of contact are you comfortable having? What other issues might need to be addressed?  Have at it.

Sorry, it took me awhile to see this question and I hope you will see my response.

In the case of the totally anonymous requester, I see the request on my screen and sit here before my computer. I activate the healing hands and focus on the words of the request with the knowledge that a specific individual wrote them. I guess the words themselves serve as a sort of focus. I work with healing energy in the name of the Goddess Brigid, to whom I am devoted, so I say something like "May the healing grace of Brigid flow through me to the person who wrote these words."

When I do this, I get a visual sense of a human form obscured by mist (I really wonder if I might get a clearer view if I had stronger natural clairvoyance). Golden energy is how I perceive this healing grace, and the golden energy flows out of my right hand, through the mist, pools near the person, then floods into them and sets about making things right according to Divine grace. Once this has happened I offer thanks and move on.

That did the trick for me! I could send energy to the anonymous user if I phrased it in a way similar to yours --that a specific individual wrote them-- and to send it it's way, instead of saying 'anonynmous' in my head. The signature on the sentences were weak, but workable to an extent. If picture is the gold standard, say in 5, then anonymous feels like a 2.
