They LiedAs we proceed through the second year of these open posts, it's pretty clear that the official narrative is cracking as the toll of deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccines rises steadily and the vaccines themselves demonstrate their total uselessness at preventing Covid infection or transmission. It's still important to keep watch over the mis-, mal- and nonfeasance of our self-proclaimed health gruppenfuehrers, and the disastrous results of the Covid mania, but I think it's also time to begin thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Updated US Cooties Shots Statistics

From: (Anonymous)
Here is an update to my US cooties shots statistics from last week.

The CDC is no longer posting the plain-vanilla booster numbers on their main injections website, so I dug into their database and extracted the stats for "first booster" and "second booster" as well.
My calculations from these are added into the table below.

My sources:

[1] CDC's main injection stats page,
https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#vaccinations_vacc-people-onedose-pop-5yr

[2] CDC's injection stats database page,
https://data.cdc.gov/Vaccinations/COVID-19-Vaccination-Demographics-in-the-United-St/km4m-vcsb

[3] Statista, population of age groups in the US,
https://www.statista.com/statistics/241488/population-of-the-us-by-sex-and-age/

The numbers below are all calculated from the numbers provided by CDC and Statista, for example "if 269,064,626 people have 1 or more shots, and they are 81% of the US population, then US population is 332,178,551."

Total US Population: 332,178,551

Over 65 y.o. : 22,171,705 40.5%

Comments:

Evidently, 2nd plain-vanilla boosters were only available to those 50 and over.
Thankfully.

There are up to 35,683,603 people in the US with *five* cooties shots in them.
=8O

36.4% of people over 65
As many as 20.7% of people age 50-64

Ahem, cough, cough! Would it not be slightly more accurate to write "There WERE up to 35,683,603 people..."? I think it might be safe to assume at this point that they are not all of them still with us.

Actually, that's true, my father is one of those.
Got the shots and at least one booster. He probably got all the boosters, although we didn't discuss it much.

It's hard to say if the shots killed him, though; he was 93 and had a lot of back and skin problems already. He was under stress, had high blood pressure, not physically active... so when he died of heart failure after a heart attack, well, the other problems could have explained it too.

Here's what still gobsmacks me.
He was a PhD scientist who worked at a pharmaceutical company all his career, and he's the one who taught me to be skeptical of claims by people in power.
Yet he followed his lifelong "trusted sources" even when they flew straight in the face of good sense, straight into the gallon Kool-Aid pitcher. There was no dissuading him. All I could do was show him as much love as I could right up until the end (which he reciprocated).

How does something like that happen??

I'm sorry about your father.

My parents are long gone but I have a number of siblings who all bought into it.

I suspect if they have doubts I will never hear about it.

My condolences. Although 93 years is quite a respectable age to start getting ready for one's next incarnation, that transition will always be painful for those of us who remain behind.

My own 82-year-old father, the research biochemist who taught me at a most tender age how to unsparingly apply the scientific method, is similarly jabbed up to the nines. I never thought of him as being at all fashion conscious, but he certainly bum-rushed that ludicrous fashion trend, as soon as it started getting paid placement on the cover of all his favorite glossy periodicals. The pre-teen glee with which he began squealing about the new salvation-promising heartthrob-hero, which all his scientific glamour mags were so gushing over, seemed at least slightly out of character, if not completely out of age cohort.

To date, he is still with us, and still squealing with the most embarrassing starry-eyed tween abandon. With that as a soundtrack, I am more and more considering 82 to be a perfectly respectable age to start getting ready for one's next incarnation.

"How does something like that happen??" Never gracefully. That's for sure.

Wow, Christophe, your dad too?
(Gives secret handshake of commiseration)

This utter weirdness in which people who are highly trained in this very topic still get rolled over by the propaganda, is enough to make me suspect that supernatural (or infranatural, h/t JMG) influences are indeed at work.

If my dad had been in his 60's and in good health generally, then died soon after the shot, I would be madder than a nest of bees soaked in espresso. As it is, he managed to wring 93 years out of this old world, see grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and most importantly, we managed not to wind up at each others' throats over the coronavirus / injections argument. I was able to send him off with some final words of love, and I'm very grateful for that.

The one thing that really angered me was one time when he and I were discussing my uninjected status, and he said, "but you're my only flesh and blood and I don't want to lose you!" I reminded him that I had already had the coof, (although he was skeptical of natural immunity). Inside, I was furious at these mind-manipulators for putting my 92-year-old father into such a state of fear. Inexcusable.

Yes.

I have been turning this over in my mind every single day now for 2 1/2 years. What happened to these people?

Similar story here, only it was my father-in-law, who scoffed at all things irrational or superstitious and who was a very smart and well-read man who touted the achievements of "science" quite often. Cantankerous as he was, he was the only member of my wife's family I could talk to reasonably easily (though perhaps our mutual love of bourbon assisted with that.)

The last real conversation I remember having with him was at a holiday gathering, when he asked me if I was jabbed. When I told him no, he began to “educate” me about how effective the jabs were at protecting people. I didn't bother to argue, I just nodded, took another sip of bourbon, and tried to change the subject politely ASAP.

The man smoked for most of his life and loved his whiskey, but never seemed to suffer any great health problems till 2021 or so. Among other things, he then started to suffer from a rapidly progressing dementia, which he recognized early on. He stopped eating rather than prolong his decline and he died in the spring of last year.

He once gave me a copy of “Thinking Fast and Slow” by Daniel Kahneman. It strikes me that what we’re discussing here is an example of that book’s “System 1” and “System 2” thinking. The former is fast, quick, intuitive, heuristic-- how most people get by most of the time. The latter is logical, rational, deliberative, and takes more mental energy. Even the brightest, most scientific people are not immune to those mental shortcuts, and trusted authorities can become a shortcut to avoid hard thinking.

I miss him, and wish he were still around to discuss the record of the shots given new data. He probably would have been open to it. (Grudgingly!)
