Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 39

The pandemic has been scrubbed from the front pages at this point and replaced by a different hysteria du jour, but the semi-open posts  I've hosted here on the Covid-19 narrative, the inadequately tested experimental drugs for it, and the whole cascading mess surrounding them have continued to field a steady stream of comments, so I'm opening yet another space for discussion. The rules are the same as before: 

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here. 
 
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue. 

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules. 

With that said, as the vaccinated keep getting sick from respiratory illnesses over and over again while the unvaccinated have no more colds and flus than usual, the floor is open for discussion.

Concerning the latter: This is a mainstream-media propaganda report on a scientific study, NOT a report on the actual outcome of the tests. Read very carefully - and also go read the actual test report linked in the article. It is very important that fact be distinguished from opinion, and this report (like many out there on this topic) is cleverly worded to blur that distinction.

The tests in question did not concern actual infections in live patients, nor did they observe a complete immune response. What they did was expose some blood samples to the new variants and count how many antibodies were produced - all in a test tube. Sure, antibody production is an important part of the immune system; but it's not the only one, and the entire system must be considered before extrapolating a conclusion.

The other thing here is the sample size: 15 vaccinated and 24 unvaccinated, for a whopping grand total of 39 participants. That sample is so small that the results could easily be skewed by other factors affecting both immune response and in-vitro blood cell longevity, such as age, race, diet, body weight, gender, medical history, current medication use, etc., etc. A similarly sized 'random' sample from the city of Stockholm could just as easily conclude that all humans have blond hair and blue eyes!

My level of free floating anxiety has increased substantially in the last week.
Nothing in my personal would explain it.

In the part of Germany, where I am, at least, the astral atmosphere seems rather to have cleared. People aren't more crazy than usual, ant there isn't that much talk anymore about Covid in the media.

A few situations have puzzled me over the past year and now have me convinced the covid response was not a grand plan conspiracy, but more a competition between power and money hungry opportunists.

The first was the insistence that masks go back on in July 2021. This was after most people who chose to get vaccinated willingly, did so. The way a grand plan leader would have handled it would be to enthusiastically showing how great the vaccines were working while quietly adjusting the PCR testing ranges or re-coding hospitalizations and deaths. By acting confident in the vaccines, more people would have taken them heading into fall. The economy would have returned to normal. People would be loving Biden for ending covid. Celebration! Instead one faction of the regime ramped up testing making cases always present, colleges mandated vaccines for students and employers soon followed, and the media continued the hysteria campaign. Total fail.

The second situation was the rolling out of vaccine mandates in Fall 2021. Again the grand plan seemed to be to put them everywhere, even for travel and to enter stores. The media started the messaging that the unvaccinated were spreading the disease. Employers started to implement the mandates and must have gotten enough pushback that most stopped. The places that did implement them were the colleges, some governments, and cultural institutions. I think colleges and cultural institutions were paid off with federal dollars for their compliance. Companies didn't get the handouts at all. No mastermind seemed to be able to get the companies on board.

The last situation is the now weird patchwork of what I call emotionally-based covid rules that people adhere too. It's anarchy out there with every organization making whatever rule feels good to them and few Health Departments or State Legislatures can stop them. It's bonkers. There's a complete lack of logic to deal with the fact that vaxxed people are passing covid around. It's completely ignored. If public health was focused on stopping the spread, why is there not mass testing at events and for travel? I see over-and-over again at places I can't get into as a mRNA free person, that "guests have said being around other vaccinated people makes them feel safe." Ok then! Maybe if we had testing companies lobbying legislatures then things would be different.

The whole covid mess is so bad it wouldn't even make a believable book or movie. An editor or reviewer would say "There's no plot. Who's the protagonist? Who's the villain? The writer keeps changing their mind and there's no ending to it. It just rambles on." I have to keep reminding myself that it isn't over yet as much as I want it to be over.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that one.

I support access to abortions, at least in the earlier stages of pregnancy. I also don't think anyone should ever be forced to have a medical procedure they DON'T want.

I suspect that some fight is going to erupt sometimes soon when some liberal says "my body my choice" in my vicinity and I can't stop myself from saying "Well, realistically, it's only your choice until society decides that we need you to make a different choice for the sake of the greater good. I mean, if people can be forced to get vaccines for the greater good, then obviously they should be forced to carry pregnancies to term, if that's what everyone else decides is for the greater good. Bodily autonomy doesn't matter when we invoke the greater good. That's how this works now, right?"

First, and most important, thank you JMG for the time and effort you have given us in keeping this forum going.

Onto Covid - remember when Granny warned you to be careful about what you wished for? And here we have cause du jour. Neoliberals, across the political spectrum, but especially left of centre, have fought bravely & courageously, as they say, to abolish consent, informed consent and of course, bodily autonomy. (Not to mention informing us that women have penises, men get pregnant and what's the definition of 'woman'). Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.

Other stuff, no doubt many if not all have seen the "study" that showed the unvaccinated were driving the pandemic. "Study" as it was a computer simulation with numbers pulled out of someone's nether regions. I noticed it came out within in a week of a very different study (if I can find it again, I'll post a link). This one comparing the immune response from Covid survivors, unvaccinated vs vaccinated (Moderna). 93% of the unvaccinated developed a full immune response (antibodies that recognized the virus nucleoside) vs 40% of those who had the Moderna vaccine. Test subjects were determined by a positive Covid test at time of infection. Antibody response was determined by blood tests.

Science (believe the science), has collapsed. That hurt. It was a useful tool, now gone.

For those who care, Rolling Thunder hit Ottawa this weekend. Seems like some people still believe in bodily autonomy. Thank you truckers of the world. You showed thousands that they were not alone.

Well, things seem to be returning a bit to normal in Canberra. Of course we're 101% foxxed, including the kids, and that's still, supposedly, a good thing. But we never had a fox passport to go to shops and so on. Several Commonwealth departments have returned to working in the office now. There were some rounds of legal action about it, but they ended up returning with no requirements for foxination or masks. That most likely means new recruits can't be asked about their fox status. The ACT government ended the fox requirement for nurses and teachers yesterday. That presumably means all jobs on health campuses, schools and in childcare now don't have a fox mandate. So we're down to poor old aged care and disability workers, who still have to be foxxed. Of course, the rhetoric is, "we can safely do this because we have such a high foxination rate". I wish they'd say, "Since foxination made no difference, we may as well quietly step away from these illegal mandates ..."

A little report from elsewhere. I work for one of Australia’s two national public broadcasters (not the one starting with A). Vax mandates have been in place for some time and escalate to booster requirement in a week or so. I have ignored all requests to provide my vax status. No follow up from HR has occurred. I can work fully from home and have done so since Feb 2020 so I think they are just leaving me alone to avoid confrontation.

In a company wide meeting of the ultra-woke company I still work for (hopefully not much longer) the CEO announced that although all employees must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated and only vaccinated employees are allowed in the company buildings, unvaccinated customers will be allowed in the buildings within the next month. When an ultra-woke vaccinista employee protested this heresy, she was dismissed and gaslighted (Our customers are just visiting! What is your problem?). This from the same people who implied right up until a month ago that the unvaccinated were plague rats, "bad people" or "ignorant." This kind of talk was cheered on by the ultra-woke vaccinista employees, who I guess are suffering a severe case of whiplash this week.

Conspicuously absent were the words "safe and effective," which in previous meetings were said about every 15 seconds.

That said, the hundreds of people they fired last year for not being vaccinated are still fired. And the the lunacy of woke ideology is everywhere and getting worse. Hoping to be out of the company by June. Any best wishes or prayers are welcome.

Thanks for your report. Love the term "ultra-woke vaccinista"-- I will steal it in the next five minutes.

From what I can tell, however, I doubt the "ultra-woke vaccinistas" get much in the way of mental whiplash because they were never thinking logically in the first place. It seems to me that they have some concept of "being a right-thinking person" which they arrive at, figuratively speaking, by licking a finger and holding it up to check for the direction of the prevailing breeze, with which they are sure to ever and always align themselves.

The ones who truly have mental "whiplash," it seems to me, are those who find themselves badly injured after their injections, gaslighted by their doctors, and abandoned to their misery and mushrooming medical bills.

Perhaps it is because I feel a bit somber, but the past few days I find myself lamenting the lovely country I knew and lived in and that has gone in two short years.

My country the Netherland is on a steep downward slope and most everybody doesn't even acknowledge it. I guess that is what psychologists call normalcy bias. It is not just the inflation north of 10%. Every week there are a few revelations that would be front-page news in better times, but now just get ignored. I just keep scratching my head and feel disconnected from society. I'll share a few stories from the past few weeks that might also serve as interesting data-points

After a judicial procedure the government released a tsunami of internal documents about the Corona policy. 4 data-analists joined forces and are combing through the data. What they found so far is shocking. It turns out the minister of health and his ministry were very much steering the course and manipulated data. It went so far that health agency RIVM didn't want to take responsibility for the data, so the 'Corona dashboard' was published by the ministery. The ministery also manipulated the data from the statistical bureau CBS. Retroactively the ministery changed the 95% interval of mortality so now we suddenly have much less excess mortality over 2021 than before. The ministery also suppressed hydrochloroquine with harsh measures like fining doctors who prescribed it with a hefty 150,000 euro. All the while they tried to secure HQL from India. It is very obvious that just a few key-players were instrumental in setting the course while the rest just went along.

A few weeks back the association of foreign journalists in the Netherlands complained of the intimidation and bullying the journalists have suffered in recent times. They had a few hair triggering examples of intimidation by the police. Of course we also had a few months ago a UN representative who reported our country to the UN for the excessive police violence during a protest against the Corona measures. Yesterday it was published that when it comes to freedom of press the Netherlands plummeted from #6 worldwide to # 22 in one year.

Another thing is the prime-minister and his ministers. I've never seen such a corrupt bunch in power in my country. The prime minister has been caught telling an astonishing amount of lies, but somehow he stays in power. 1100 children were taken away from their homes because of false accusations of the Dutch tax office, the coalition fell as result, but now we have the exact same coalition in power again and after a year the children are still not back home and the financial extortion is not yet reversed. It is such a disgrace! The rest of the ministers is just as bad: the health minister who threatened unvaxxed people and was engaged in a scandal where the government bought unusable masks for 100 million euro's is still in power, the female leader of a party that betrayed a victim of sexual abuse is still minister, her predecessor who got an expensive appartement as a 'gift' and was also engaged in a sexual scandal is still a free man, etc etc. Our pm likes to say "I don't have any active memory of that" when he is caught lying again. Judges complain that criminals are using the same phrase in the courtrooms nowadays. All of this is very corrosive to our society.

Another thing is the Ukraine insanity. People are only thinking in black and white about it. Our local city hall has replaced the Dutch flag with an Ukrainian one. Tomorrow we have a national day of rememberance of the victims of WOII. Some places will play the Ukrainian national anthem in lieu of the usual Dutch anthem. It's just nuts.

I am, somewhat regrettably, on LinkedIn for professional reasons (PMC-member here I'm afraid, though making contingency plans) and have noticed a few things recently - around November, Linkedin was full of people posting about friends and relatives dying suddenly of heart attacks and strokes. Then from about January to March, everyone was posting about getting corona and being glad of the vaccine for their 'mild' symptoms, which from the sound of it, typically sounded like being mildly hit by a truck travelling at 30 miles per hour. Now, sadly, it's full of cancer stories. Literally tens of them from a 5 minute scroll.

Oh, and Ukraine posts, obviously.

The Latest From IM Doc

Posted today to Naked Capitalism, another report from the trenches (NOTE: it references an attached newspaper clipping, which was apparently not included to obscure IM Doc's location. Based on various clues dropped over the last year+, I suspect it's Jackson Hole, WY):


We now have an entire urgent care staff – including 2 MDs – who are all COVID positive. I am not just swamped – I am torpedoed.

Cases in my practice last week were up again – 88 in total. Not a single unvaxxed patient, 48 double vaxxed, 22 with one booster, and 18 with 2 booster. No vaxxed, No J&J, and no partial vaxxed.

Thankfully, no admissions. Just like last year, long phase of very mild illness.

One theory I have heard and made me think – is maybe all the unvaxxed vulnerable have died and all the unvaxxed we have left are young and healthy. I do not think so – still seeing lots of unvaxxed with risk factors in the office every day.

I have now gone two months without seeing a single unvaxxed patient. In an attempt to see if somehow this was just me, I contacted family practice docs in each of our surrounding counties with much lower VAX rates – on the order of 30-40%. Both had the same story – the absolute number of cases was WAY higher than this time last year……but in one county he had seen only 1 unvaxxed patient since MAR 1, the other county doc had seen only 7.

Something is very very wrong. Again, cases are way higher than last year and virtually all are among the VAXXED. I learned this week that in the official reporting, all of the double vaxxed only patients are being sent in as UNVAXXED – so it appears our unvaxxed rate is about 50%. But as I have explained above, that is completely misleading. The truly UNVAXXED are not the problem here. Furthermore, the numbers being reported are doing good to being 1/6 of the total. Almost all are on home or rapid tests. But unfortunately, as of this weekend, on the Drudge Report running 7 day counter – we are now seeing higher official numbers than last year. You just have to multiply by 6 on this years’s number to get close to accurate – so we are in a whole new world.

Now, I have attached an article from the paper over this weekend [contains anecdotes of many getting Covid and isolating]. Please note – this is in stark contrast to last year. I tracked down the first article of the year last year of an “unexpected surge” – which was published the week after JULY 4 – so we are two months ahead. The cases were MUCH lower last year – and we were still in the “vaccines have solved everything” mode.

All I can say is that quite a few of early vaccine publicity materials such as ones that said HCWs would become “bulletproof” did not age well – and would be considered misinformation today. These people are never going to be able to take back this stain on the reputation of public health. “Vaccination is like a superpower”…..and the nurse explaining that she was doing the VAX to get to visit her mom.

Again, in the attached article – one year later, the NH [nursing home] is in lockdown – and has been since March. Multiple patients from there with COVID in and out of the ER and hospital. All quadruple vaxxed.

Now, the scary part. The doctor’s meeting this last week was on FRI(day?) – everyone is noticing this too. Almost universally, the positive patients are vaxxed/boosted. And at my medical conference, this same pattern is being noted everywhere. The medical conference speaker had a long talk about Original Antigenic Sin and how this may be playing a role. There was also an open discussion about withholding the 4th shot until June – because JUL and AUG historically have been the bad months – and the shots are doing well to last a month. Also – a big discussion ensued as to whether the truly unvaxxed were safer in their current status. Still no resolution there – lots of arguments back and forth.

This I can tell you. We already have entire countries, Denmark, Sweden and Norway, abandoning their VAX programs – clearly largely because of what we are seeing. But there is something all of a sudden missing from press articles – that has been there for.a year – look at this attached one from small town America – not a word about getting vaccinated or boosted – not a peep. Not a peep about the advantage of vaccination, etc. I think the lack of mention is the first step.

Just look at these three random large articles. For a year now – every article would be stuffed with either entreaties to be vaccinated or jeremiads against the losers who were not. All of a sudden the past few weeks – NOTHING OF THE SORT.

I may be cynical from years of Big Pharma PsyOps. But something is up. I think there is growing realization of a big problem.

I personally know IM Doc. I can vouch for his/her credibility. We go back a very long ways. I can assure you that he/she is most definitely not in practice in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

I would say that this physician, who I disagree with often, is reacting to this pandemic and dealing with it in his/her own way. And has decided to be anonymous. Just like I am here. And who would not be in the current climate we live in? I would just ask you to be careful about making statements like this. It is one thing to guess, but I just think we need to be very careful with statements like this.

I have seen a flurry of videos of people, usually men, going up to vaccine clinic workers or drugstore pharmacists and informing them about vaccine side effects. Basically putting them on notice they are committing crimes against humanity. All who have played along with the vaccines are complicit in the injuries and mayhem they caused, in my opinion, but anyone drawing their paycheck expressly because he or she gets MRNA vaccines in arms is a special level of guilty.

Another encouraging video I saw was of Chinese villagers who had clearly gotten wind of the goings on in Shanghai driving out the white suits with sticks and stones. The villagers pelted them into a hasty retreat. No, I cannot vouch for the video's authenticity. Could have been a Hollywood set for all I know. Nevertheless, it was encouraging.

Lunar Apprentice here. In my little corner of the universe, the covid vex pressure has eased considerably. My daughters, 18 and 12, are not on track to get it. My older is committed against it, and my younger is not sufficiently motivated to roust herself up to go out and get it, and has even forgotten that she can. The only ominous elements are repeated emails and texts from my younger daughter’s primary care clinic for a “well child check”. These started just before her 12th birthday, and I have no doubt she would be manipulated to “consent” to a covid vex irrespective of parental wishes or even knowledge, as the law enables such. It feels surreal for me, a doctor, to be literally suspicious and afraid of what her primary care doc can, and may well, do under cover of law, having drunk the covid vex Kool-aid.

I’m getting back into medical practice after having been locked out last summer for having refused the vex. I have leased a clinic space. I’ve registered my clinic address, phone/FAX, and business data with my payor- the state Workers’ Comp system. After enduring several iterations of the Riddle of the Sphinx, I obtained codes and authorization to submit bills. After a week of sitting through hours of voice menu-trees and stating “request representative” hundreds of times, and snafu’s with the phone company, they eventually got my lines working, and installed a wifi modem. My phone, FAX and internet are now working. But voice-mail is not enabled, and I’ve spent hours trying get voice-mail set up, as my business phone account did not enable that service by default!

I’ve hung my medical school diploma on the waiting room wall, and obtained my clinic furniture except for the exam table, which should arrive in several days. My EMG machine (ElectroMyoGraphy diagnostic machine) is on the fritz, and will need to be shipped to the opposite coast for repair. I ordered a pallet of office supplies and equipment from a major office supply retailer. When it didn’t arrive as scheduled, I enquired as to why, and learned that my order was shipped to a wrong address a thousand miles away, and is gone! Now I have to wait for a phone call from the retailer as to how this will be addressed. At least I received my prescription pads (a VERY big deal), and my clinic signage is scheduled to be in place by May 10.

I’ve spent hours getting set up to receive interpreter services. The Workers’ Comp system in my state requires arranging interpreters through a designated contractor. A physician who needs to use such services has to register with said contractor through an online portal. This alone is a ferociously complex process; it asks for everything from my business UIB code to my driver’s license data (at least it didn’t enquire about my romantic fantasies). It even asks for a pdf file of an image of my driver’s license. I gathered that this pdf was generated when your license is issued, and can be obtained by following the provided online directions. But the websites referenced no longer corresponded to those directions. So I spent time online researching how to get this file, and had to go through nested rabbit holes setting up secure accounts through several state agencies, only to find that I couldn’t obtain my driver’s license pdf that way after all. So I drove to the DMV office, and asked for said pdf. The clerk said “sure”, and asked for my license and email. She simply put the license on a copier, scanned it, and emailed the scan as a pdf! But even though she had my correct email address, I never received it (not even in the spam folder). So she had me photograph my license with my cell phone, text it to her personal cell phone, then she converted it to a pdf file, then I had her email it to multiple addresses, and one of them got it. The pdf image is lousy, but the interpreter service registration website accepted it, and now I can order interpreter services. My G-d what an ordeal that was!

All of these hurdles and torments remind me forcefully of stories of the Soviet Union in the 70's and 80's, and how life there was crushed under a vast, suffocating bureaucracy that made even the simplest tasks a maddening Kafkasqian Hell.

Today I notified the first of my referring law offices that I’m taking patients, and I’ll see what happens.

A thankful coworker

I had a conversation with a coworker yesterday in a parking lot. We don't know each other well but we have been friendly. The conversation turned to Covid. Within a few minutes he told me he was unfoxxed, and that he was so very grateful to know there was someone else he worked with who is not insane. He said his everyday coworkers and friends keep pressuring him to get foxxed.

It was encouraging. He does not seem to be the sort who is much of a reader, but he was far more informed than I would have anticipated. As for all those who are pressuring him, that is astounding to me, this late in the manipulation, that there are so many still who would line up for unlimited boosters (Get your Booster for the benefit of Ukraine!) Covid is not even in the regular news, there is not the constant beat of propaganda about it, and still people wear it like a moral signpost.

Breastfeeding mothers taking the vax (some wait until after they deliver) has shocked me. 20 years ago when I had babies the doctor didn't even want me drinking coffee while breastfeeding!!!! When the baby was gassy I was told because I ate too much broccoli. But the vax is a-ok in 2022. I am so horrified I can't even think about it.

They seem to be missing the point and this serves as deflection. It's not that the vaccines made the kids sick, is that it's likely that the tens of thousands of people around those children have been inoculated with a chimpanzee adenovirus.

Hmm. I've heard of multiple people lately having serious infections in their bones and joints. These are not common infections normally. The same also goes for the liver infections (hepatitis) in children.
