Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 14

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.
2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.
4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.
With that said, as rumors fly that the governor of California has been crippled by one of the "rare" side effects of Covid vaccination, and the mainstream media is busy trying to insist that cardiac arrest in children is perfectly normal, the floor is open for discussion.

Date: 2021-11-09 07:46 pm (UTC)There are several kinds of tests:
1. The ones where you spit into a cup and the test is performed on your saliva are, in my opinion, harmless. (
2. The „lolly“ tests (that‘s what they are called in German) are another story. With these tests, you take something that resembles a lolly into your mouth and suck on it or move it around in your mouth for a while.
Since I don‘t know what exactly is on and in these „lollies“, these are an absolute no-go for me.
Cheap trash produced who-knows-where, without any regulations or quality control… I‘m not going to put that into my mouth.
3. The nasal or oral swabs (put them in, swab your mucosa) are only slightly better imo. Again, cheaply produced stuff, no regulations, no quality control, nothing… and there is always the chance of injuring your mucosa so whatever is on these swabs can enter there… no, thanks.
I try to avoid them as much as possible. This is just common sense, as I said, and not based on any kind of research.
4. The PCR tests (no matter how they are performed) or any other test where material is sent to a laboratory… *sigh* now this is somewhat of a conspiracy theory, and I hope our host can forgive me for that… ;-) I have read rumours that the labs collect more than just the necessary things. I don‘t know if these rumours are true, but I wouldn‘t put it past them to collect e.g. genetic or other information and to sell that to the highest bidder.
Again, no regulations, no oversight, anybody can do what the want…
I simply don‘t trust that system anymore.
I‘d do one of those if I had to, but try to avoid them for that reason.
….
This was a health-related answer. Of course, there are also other considerations, e.g. you could get a false positive, you are supporting the narrative with each test, yadda yadda. I felt that you weren‘t asking for those - hope I got that right.
Again, this is all just common sense. My time is simply too valuable to waste it on researching this, when my common sense already tells me that the less of these tests, the safer and healthier. ;-)

Maybe paranoia...
Date: 2021-11-09 09:25 pm (UTC)I had the nasal swab test and after I handed the swab over I was struck with fear that I had just unwittingly given up my DNA profile. I felt this same fear when I received my son's birth certificate and it listed my birth name and not, as it said it needed, my maiden name. I had a moment of blind panic when I was filling out the PRAMS post pregnancy survey and I answered the Ashkenazi question.
It seems silly, but I'm not usually prone to bouts of panic. Maybe this is baggage from a past life, but maybe these were glimpses of future consequences.
