Is it not possible that repeatedly exposing and "anchoring" the client to horrible images of diseased lung tissue might unintentionally produce an undesirable effect? Such treatment might actually stimulate the development of those exact conditions in the client's own lungs.
The use of the language of violence (i.e. "going for the kill") is also troubling.
