A Special and a Podcast

I have two treats for my readers this time around. First, Smashwords is doing a special promotion for dystopian novels from now until September 6, and for reasons known only to them, they've included my novel Retrotopia among the offerings. (I kind of thought that it was a utopian novel, but hey, there's no accounting for taste.) Have a look at the Smashwords promotion here -- there are quite a few novels, some of which look very good. 

Second, I'm pleased to report that I'm on another episode of the Legalize Freedom podcast with the inimitable Greg Moffitt as host. This time we're talking about the interface between spirituality and the Long Descent that defines our present and future. As always, it was a good lively talk. For whatever it's worth, I'm looking forward to the response to Paul Kingsnorth's essay, which you mentioned near the end of the first half of the podcast.

Definitely utopian - but kids in school on a Saturday in Defiance? Just happening to reading it (again).

Frankly a bit too prophetic. Starfish and spikes causing lung problems in 2020. Wonder who gets Michael Yeats part in three years?

Then again the MiGo know all about spikes don't they?
