It's time for Magic Monday again, my intermittent open post on occult theory and practice -- so ask me anything about occultism and I'll do my best to answer it. Any question received by midnight tonight Eastern time will get an answer, though it may be Tuesday sometime before I get to them all.

With that said, have at it!

I thought at first it might be one of Pauline Campanelli's beautiful books, but what you describe isn't in any of them. Nor does it seem to be in Harold A. Hansen's _The Witch's Garden_. Could it have been Dorothy Jacob's _A Witch's Guide to Gardening_ (1965)? I don't have that one, so I can't check it against your description. She also wrote _Curss and Curses_ (1967), which I don't have either. -- Robert Mathiesen

I just bought it (ouch, not cheap) - looks like it could be a neat book even if it's not the correct one. (Sometimes I wonder if I imagined this book, but I don't think so.) Thanks - Dewey

Do let us know here, once it has arrived, whether it was the right one. I am curious. I'll check back weekly for a month or so. -- Robert Mathiesen

Hi Robert - It wasn't the right one; it's a small hardback with a few older illustrations of single plants. But it does look like it will be an interesting addition to my library. Thanks! - Dewey

Thanls so much for letting me know, Dewey! I'm glad to hear that even so, you're happy with it. -- RObert

perhaps it is Magical Herbalism: The Secret Craft of the Wise by Scott Cunningham. according to the review "The final portion of the book is a chapter on growing your own herb garden. Since this is a magickal herbal, you'll also find a few magickal methods to assist the growth of your herb garden in this chapter." review found at https://www.ecauldron.net/bkmh.php
