JMG article on UFOs

Some months ago I was invited to submit an article on the occult dimensions of the UFO phenomenon for a special issue of a scholarly journal, World Futures: The Journal of New Paradigm Research. That came as something of a surprise. Even more of a surprise was the fact that the editor accepted my article with enthusiasm and asked only for minor (and quite reasonable) revisions. It intrigues me that at least one end of the world of scholarship is that open to straightforward discussions of what occultism has to say about one of the odder mysteries of our time. 

The article, "UAPs and the Occult: An Inquiry into Rejected Knowledge," has now been published. The publisher has an odd little marketing gimmick where each author of an article in one of their many journals can give away, electronically, 50 copies of the article. Since I'm not in the academic circuit and won't be sending the links off to colleagues in the Department of Extraterrestrial Sorcery at Miskatonic University or the like, I decided to post the link here. If UAPs are etheric phenomenon, do they have anything to do with your vision that one time of souls from the etheric sixth cosmic plane spending time here on the seventh cosmic plane and then soon going back to their etheric sixth cosmic plane?

An excellent question I have no idea how to answer. The vision didn't include anything relating to that detail -- and of course I still have no way of knowing whether that vision was accurate, or simply the product of indigestion or something -- and the UAP material I've assessed doesn't offer any better basis for a hypothesis.

You're welcome. I'm considering one or more books on this theme, as it hasn't gotten anything like the attention it deserves -- well, not since the 1970s, at least.

Late to the party. But there are significant movements afoot. Perhaps the most salient is release of the documentary The Age of Disclosure, which I have seen. Some 35 high level USGov, including SecState/NID Rubio all admit, at a minimum, that non human intelligence is real, they are here, and may have always been here. There is also a race between the USA, PRC, and Russia to reverse engineer downed and crashed UAP with the certain knowledge that the winner of that race becomes the de facto strongest power in the world - since the question is indeed power, that is, how are these craft powered.

The USA has the oldest legacy program and the deepest recesses of the CIA, the USAF, the DOE, and select aerospace/military contractors are stakeholders. Because each has their own interest and there is competition between them, a common policy has retarded US progress. Though really, no one knows what is operational as these are secrets of the most life threatening sort to keep.

Congressional efforts to bring accountability to these completely renegade government programs is stymied. The profit potential leads corporate control of owned politicians to block any sharing of information or actual artifacts. The power potential seres the same role in the government agencies involved. There are also factions set against disclosure as too disruptive, as well as religiously concerned operatives who see the NHI as instruments of an evil and demonic force.

There are also confirmed recovery of bodies and, it is mooted, survivors of crashes. Multiple alien species have been descrbed, with some biological, others seemingly more constructed. Not all may have the same interest r agenda in our plant and species.

One thing for certain, humans will not enjoy the realization that we are not atthe top of the food chain.

So we are in a period of "soft disclosure", prepping the public for a new reality.

Oh dear! Your next to the last paragraph/sentence, "...we are not at the top of the food chain.", brought back memories: a short story by Damon Knight - 'To Serve Man', and, an episode of the Twilight Zone with the same title based on that story.

Ah... $491 for an issue seems a mite high.

"Insanely high" is the term I would use. The academic presses are used to ripping off universities with impunity -- and of course these days, those high prices are also a way to keep the rabble out of the ivory towers of scholarship. When the contract permits, I'll find another venue for the article.

I was able to get access to the article through a Canadian community college, so that's one way the rabble can peek behind the curtain.
