Magic Monday

It's almost midnight, so here we go with a new Magic Monday. The picture is Max Heindel, founder of the Rosicrucian Fraternity, one of the big four American Rosicrucian orders during the golden age of American occultism -- that was most of a century ago, in case you were wondering.

Ask me anything about occultism and I'll do my best to answer it. Any question received by midnight Monday Eastern time will get an answer, though it may be Tuesday sometime before I get to them all.

Do you have any experience or wise words to say about servitors? I am thinking about creating one for a specific purpose and would like to know your opinion.

I don't use them. When I have a specific purpose I want to accomplish magically, if it's a single event, I do a working to bring it about; if it's something that needs to work over the long term, I create and consecrate a talisman to get the thing done. Those have always been quite adequate for my purposes, and they don't run the risk of your creation developing a mind of its own and messing with you, which can sometimes happen with servitors.
