My observation of the chans during that campaign led me to think that while there were only a small number of people making most of the noise, there were some hundreds of people concentrating on certain hypersigils in an attempt to help Trump's campaign. Most of them said very little, but I fielded a lot of technical questions backchannel; I did my best to point them to modes of magic that were wholly positive, using Dion Fortune's The Magical Battle of Britain as a key resource.
