If it's consecrated by a ceremony -- as talismans are -- it's ceremonial. If it's not consecrated with a ceremony, it's an amulet, not a talisman, and then it's natural magic. In your current situation, you're best off using natural magic, and my suggestion there would be to do candle magic: burn a green candle on seven consecutive Fridays and ask Venus to help you find a new home. Once you find one, make seven donations of some multiple of 7 (dollars, pounds, etc.) to a Venus charity -- any women's charity will qualify, and so will any charity that helps the arts, music, crafts, etc.
