Jumping ahead a little to the solar eclipse of April 8 next year. It will be visible from Maine to Texas and therefore something to pay attention to. Fortunately, it’s in the cadent 9th house so it’s effects should be somewhat mitigated.
Across the Atlantic, however, things could be more serious. I noticed, for instance that for Brussels, the nominal capital of the EU, the eclipse takes place within 12 minutes of the descendant, just into the 7th house. What is the implication of an eclipse being so close to the descendant? Does it mean that both 6th and 7th houses should be considered or is it a “pay attention to this!” flag?
