Hey Jonathan; I'm late to your party, but still want to offer my congratulations. I'm a fellow sacrificee, loosing my livelihood for being a vex refusenik.
Like you, I did get back in the saddle, in my case working around restrictions/limitations relating to the mandates. I can't be a physician employee, I can't contract to work at a hospital or clinic, I can't bill Medicare etc... But I can and did set up my own clinic to see patients whose payer will pay me (my state Workmans Comp system). It helps that I keep my head down.
Like you, I'm grateful to have my health, integrity, and for my daughters to be still unvexed against impossible odds!
The mandates are coming off, still a ways to go yet in my state, at least for doctors. The federal prohibition against Medicare/Medicaid payments to un-vex'd docs remains in place AFAIK. I'll be curious to see when, or even if, that comes off.
