Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 78

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:
1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.
2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.
4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.
With that said, the floor is open for discussion.
A Bunch of Old Wives' Tales
Date: 2023-02-01 02:41 am (UTC)I promised Tunesmyth that I would share a bunch of old wives' tales about how I got sick and then miraculously well. As I happen to be an old wife, this has cultural value (or at least truly needed amusement value--laughter is the best ??).
The short story in what I fear is going to be a long post is you are suffering from symptoms that may have been set off by the foxes or other stressors, I recommend considering the possibility of oxalate overload, and have a look at what Sally K. Norton has written on this. This has blindsided a lot of people including myself who have eaten healthy foods for decades and thought oxalates were just a remote urological concern.
Apparently, they can build up over time silently--you are eating a wonderful diet and you fell great--and then some stressor hits, like the fox, and it all falls apart. You're more likely to double down on what made you feel so much better before than to get a clue that you're making a mistake.
Norton says that among the issues it can cause is the condition known under the old-fashioned name of "neurasthenia." That is nearly identical to, and considered by some such as Arthur Firstenberg to have been an early manifestation of EMF sickness (aka "electrohypersensitivity"). That wasn't what drew my attention (it's in her book, which arrived a couple weeks ago). I tuned into a podcast on Dr. Mercola's site, which I could miraculously access for a short while not long after I had myself included in Tunesmyth's prayer list, and I could see I was a real candidate for oxalate overload. Half the stuff I grow and my main herbal remedies are loaded with it.
(Being called away--more later)
Re: A Bunch of Old Wives' Tales
Date: 2023-02-01 05:25 am (UTC)Other things I've done that helped me deal with cardiac and neurological issues was, first of all, reduce my exposure to EMFs, and when that is not possible, grounding has helped (walk barefoot on a beach if possible, otherwise go outside and sit on the ground--but there are caveats there too regarding stray voltage). A battery-powered, non-metallic strap analog watch with a second hand mimics the effects of grounding and can be some help, I find. Avoiding glutamates and aspartame helps me reduce arrhythmia.

Date: 2023-02-03 12:04 pm (UTC)Johanssen pointed out a couple years back that the insurance industry refuses to insure against EMF effects. With literally tens of thousands of studies finding biological effects, I think the taboo on addressing this issue in any realistic manner is based on two things: pervasive addiction--people just don't want to know, and so they are grateful for the other factor, military-grade psy-ops, which gives everyone an excuse to dismiss this.
If you are looking for information on how better to protect yourself and your loved ones, check out Nicholas Pineault's "Non-Tinfoil Guide to EMFs."
I am going to start recommending people I know suffering from severe EMF sensitivity to take a serious look into oxalate overload. It probably is not the only factor in why some people suffer terribly, while others feel no effects at all, but I am doing much better now. A month ago, I was trying to increase my intake of beets, because they are said to be good for lowering blood pressure, and mine has been up since 4G was brought in. However, every time I consumed beets I felt terrible afterwards, and then I found out they're as high in oxalates as spinach. After stopping consumption of foods high in oxalates, my eyesight improved, I lost a bit of weight--that's never happened in winter and I wasn't even managing to lose weight in summer, I had mild symptoms of low blood pressure after a bath for the first time in years, I felt hungry today for the first time in I cannot recall how long. I am using this computer without any brain fog. As your body unloads its oxalate stores, you're supposed to have spells of unpleasant symptoms. Mine have been mild so far. I am obligated to eat everything my brother-in-law cooks for us, and it seems to be borderline on the upper limit of oxalate intake at which the body unloads oxalate, so I am not going too fast, and I can take a small amount of something like chocolate (or beets for that matter) if I feel a need to slow it down.
Someone's prayer really helped me!
