they liedAs we proceed through the second year of these open posts, it's pretty clear that the official narrative is cracking as the toll of deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccines rises steadily and the vaccines themselves demonstrate their total uselesness at preventing Covid infection or transmission. It's still important to keep watch over the mis-, mal- and nonfeasance of our self-proclaimed health gruppenfuehrers, and the disastrous results of the Covid mania, but I think it's also time to begin thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religious, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Or are you just trying to vary the wording a bit? :-)

NHS collapsing

More people are in a worse state of health than at any time in the last 33 months, Powls adds. “What we’re seeing now is a patient population that is much, much sicker than they were pre-Covid.”

The result is a drastic increase in serious health conditions, and enormous demand for care. “We’re seeing an increase in patients who are having strokes, an increase in people who are having heart attacks, an increase in people who just can’t cope with their physical illnesses any more.”

But it’s not just physical conditions. “The other big hike we’re seeing is people who are presenting with mental health as their primary reason for their presentation,” says Powls.

Antibiotic price shoots up in UK

When we look at the highly impactful consequences of the 'covid' years developing, this might turn out to be quite a big part.

Unaffordability and unavailability are close cousins.

'The cost of antibiotics used to treat infections including strep A have risen more than tenfold in the UK in recent weeks, pharmacists have said, with many facing continued difficulties in sourcing supplies.'

Well, Here I go

Date: 2022-12-13 08:10 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
I broke my ankle on Sunday. Bad. My foot was kind of dangling off the end of my leg. (It was very wet out, I was walking in the woods and slipped on a slick tree root. NOT the kind of tracks in space I was hoping to leave!)

I figure setting bone fractures is still something modern medicine is good for, so I had my friend take me to the ER. They didn’t seem that busy, probably because it was around noon on Sunday, but they still managed to leave me alone in a room for over half an hour at a time. Some of my friends say this is because they get paid for every hour one of their beds are occupied, and if no one else needs it, why get me in and out in an hour or two when they can keep me for three? Cynical, I know.

The worst part was, they kept talking about wheeling me in for surgery right away, even though the pain wasn’t too bad (I still haven’t taken any pain medication). So, the worst part was I was terribly thirsty, but they wouldn’t give me any water! Now, I’m not a medical doctor, but I find it hard to believe a few ounces of water wouldn’t be absorbed toot sweet if I’m dehydrated. Anyway, I was able to convince them that a slower, more thoughtful approach to surgery would be okay and after about two hours they did finally give me some water.

They took x-rays and my tibia is broken at the bottom and I have a spiral fracture of the fibula as well (hence the dangling). They put me in some kind of splint, gave me some crutches, and sent me home. They said the Orthopedic Surgeon would call me the next day to schedule the procedure.

When 3 O’clock the next day rolled around and I still hadn’t heard anything, I called the hospital and eventually tracked down Dr. Kim (not his first name). They asked if I was returning their call, we left a message for you an hour ago! I don’t know what number they called, but I never got the message. They said if you can get here by 4:30 you can see Dr. Kim.

I got there about 3:45 and around 4:30 Dr. Kim came in. Maybe it’s just because it was the end of the day, but Dr. Kim’s bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. He said my ankle was totally shot and without surgery I would not be able to walk normally again and would probably keep breaking it, gave me an appointment for Wednesday, and disappeared. No discussion of what he planned to do, or comforting words like, “Hey, don’t worry. I’ve done hundreds of these. You’re going to be fine!” Nothing.

I asked the nurse to bring him back. “Why?”. Why? Because last night trying to get to the bathroom on my new crutches I fell and I’m pretty sure I broke my finger and I wanted the doctor to look at it. He came in, looked at it for about 5 seconds, gave it a squeeze or two and said, “Eh. It will be okay.” Even though it’s really swollen and kind of purple. I guess that’s okay, I can’t imagine trying to crutch around with a splint or cast on my right hand.

I really wanted to ask him about calcium. My dad is a doctor, and he said even at my tender age of 54 I might consider getting more calcium in my diet to improve bone strength (apparently this is a thing that old people do). I really wanted to ask the doc what he thought of that, but he was already gone. I really, really hope he’s an excellent surgeon who just has no people skills. I guess I’m about to find out.

I got my pre-op call just now where they ask you a bunch of questions. One was, “In the event of a life or death emergency, would you be willing to accept blood from a donor?” I said, “Yes, but not from a person who has had the Covid vaccine.” She didn’t know what to say to that other than “oh we get our blood from the Red Cross…um…er…you will be asked this question again tomorrow”.

After all I’ve been learning recently about the modern medical industry, I’m more than a little nervous about letting them have their way with me, but it doesn’t seem I have much choice.

I’ve been getting more spiritual as I’ve been reading JMG, but I don’t have a personal relationship to a specific deity yet. Any suggestions? Seems like a dick move to wait until you need help to try make friends, but maybe they are used to it? Any advice is welcome.

And if anyone would like to pray for me, your prayers are most welcome.

If they don’t kill me tomorrow, I’ll report back in a few days.

-Slink

PS. While I was writing this, my best friend (who will take me in tomorrow) came over and reminded me that he is a universal donor and unvaccinated, so he may donate a pint just for me (if I turn out to need it) before he leaves the hospital. So, that’s good!

The elementary school in my town just closed down early for winter break, on account of too many kids being sick. Reportedly there's lots of kids sick in the high school, too, but they're hanging on.

This is a deep red area, lots of vaccine refusers, and we're still getting walloped with sickness.

Are we seeing a doubling down?

Hi everyone,

Read today there was success with mrna vaccine against melanoma reoccurence. What's the story behind the story?? Is this research to be believed? Is it the medical industry/pharma making a hard sell because of previous investment in technology and predicted profits? Or is this a cover over what's already occurred? Basically saying mrnas vaccines are safe.
Thanks

I can attest to this. I am a volunteer emt/firefighter in rural Vermont and I work as a mental health counselor. Both of these endeavors have gotten very busy for me since the lockdowns. There seems to be more untimely death and calls for health issues like shortness of breath and chest pains coming from younger (middle aged) people.
The actual pandemic was quiet. Despite being told we would be working full time in the ER and hauling bodies I didn’t go to a single COVID call. When the jabs rolled out however, that is when I saw a marked uptick.

NSW figures

Anybody else following Rebekah Barnett? Lucky for us in oz, New South Wales seem to report weekly, somewhat accurate, figures of hospitalisations and deaths by vax status. Week after week, 0 unvaccinated people end up in hospital or die of covid. Hardly a picture of a dangerous virus relentlessly seeking out the foolish, unprotected members of the community, is it? And yet, week after week, our health authorities argue that vaxxes "offer the best protection against severe illness and death". They are now arguing that vax rates are so high, a lot of people hospitalised and dying are 2- and 3-times jabbed, but that's just an artefact of the high proportion in the population who have that status. And un-jabbed are "over-represented" in the figures at zero!

It's summer here. I don't want to think about next winter yet.

Young woman dead of a brain aneurism

My daughter phoned last night, quite upset because a colleague at the preschool she works at died. The girl was an infant teacher and still in her 20's. She was married and had a couple of little kids.

I am nearly 60 years old and in my life, I have never heard of a young, previously healthy girl in her 20's dying of a brain aneurism. Climate change? The girl in question died in Victoria British Columbia.

One thing which has caused a lot of problems with mRNA tech, and indeed all genetic tech, is that tolerably often it looks great at first, but the longer term effects are brutal. The companies now have these products in development, and they want to market them before they finish the long term trials, and the regulators cannot really ask for long term safety data, not after telling everyone that it's not needed for another product of the same sort.

I've found that praying, simply, to be healed and not harmed, is good. An easy mantra.

What's 'funny' is I keep getting the message to take really good care of my ankles, as in with what reverence and care I clean them with in the shower.

Good luck and more walking to you.

Well, I know. what you're thinking, and you're probably right, but I had a best friend die of a brain aneurism at 40. Very healthy guy. I think he was born with some sort of tangle in his brain that didn't manifest until his mid-30's. He had gone in for brain surgery. They didn't want to take that much out at once so they took about half. He was supposed to go back in 6 months or so for the other half but before that happened he just fell over dead. Very sad.

I'm not saying the teacher was born with it, I'm just saying it does happen.

I've been hearing stories like this for a few months now - people going to see the doctor for a variety of complaints, and the doctor responding with a resounding "meh." Basically throwing up their hands and declaring "I don't know what it is, what do you want me to do about it?"

Prayers forthcoming.

My 5x jabbed N95-wearing relative finally came down with cooties for the time time last week. Blames it on other people in an airport who were not wearing masks.

So, what am I saying, apart from "jabs don't work and masks don't work"? (Because she was wearing one herself). I'm saying, there's no point in my saying anything. It's just crazy.

He seems to be fine, and I certainly hope so.

I'm also in a red area with lots of refuseniks and can confirm there is a lot of crud (and covid) whalloping my family, community, and coworkers, many of whom I know have not had the vaxx. The people I know who have gotten the vaxx are getting hammered too though.

Dear Slink,

Prayers on the way for you! May your surgery be successful and your healing smooth and fast!

That's great that your friend can donate blood for you. I really doubt you'll need it, though.

Your doctor's bedside manner sounds pretty much par for the course, I am sorry to say. They have strong incentive to minimize interaction with patients. I speak as one who has had several operations myself and also taken my elderly parents to many appointments. The US medical system is what it is, alas.

May you be out hiking again fast!!!!!

DR. TED NOEL [wearing a blue surgical mask]: So without further ado let's cut to the chase and take a look at an ordinary surgical mask. And I'm using a vape. [exhales, clouds of white smoke come out of the sides of the mask] As you can see, that vape which has aerosols the same size as covid-19 or larger [exhales, clouds of white smoke come out of the sides of the mask] goes through and around a surgical mask.

[cut]
[wearing a cup mask] Now if we take a cup mask and have a good look at it, here we go. [exhales, clouds of white smoke come out of the sides of the mask] Notice it goes right through the mask easily and goes in every direction. The aerosol is not affected by the mask in any material form.

[cut]
Now we look at surgical mask with a foam strip to protect above and keep my glasses from fogging. [now wearing the surgical mask with foam strip] [exhales, clouds of white smoke come out of the sides of the mask] Lo and behold, the aerosols go all around it. It has no effect on me spreading aerosols to you.

[cut]
[in a blue cloth mask] Now a cloth mask I borrowed from my wife. Once again, here we go, boom! Straight through and around. [exhales, clouds of white smoke come out of the sides of the mask] It has no effect on the spread of aerosols. They go everywhere.

[cut]
[shows package containing Guard mask] And then I went and bought a Guard mask with a high efficiency filter material. That one? Here we go, watch for it. [now wearing in mask] Through and around. [exhales, clouds of white smoke come out of the sides of the mask] It had no effect on the vape aerosol which, remember, is the same size or larger.

[cut]
Now I don't have an N95 mask, I have these shop respirators where they could put all kinds of things in them [pointing to filters] but they're like an N95 because when you breathe out everything goes out through a valve. [puts on mask] [exhales, clouds of white smoke come out of the sides of the mask] Guess what? It might protect me from you, it sure isn't going to protect you from me. Let's look at that again. Boom! [puts on mask] [exhales, clouds of white smoke come out of the sides of the mask] Any mask with a button on it has a valve that lets everything go from you to your neighbor. It has no effect on anything.

[cut]
I think you can get the picture now. There is absolutely nothing that any of these masks do to protect you from me. And the fact is that unless I have a mask which is fully sealed and where I breathe through the filter material both directions, and I have a really high quality filter, nothing is going to protect in either direction. Because just the same way that the vape went out, around, and through, it will come in, around and through. Aerosols will not be stopped by man.

You don't need a big study. All you need is this [holds up vape] because the aerosol here is actually larger in molecular size than the aerosol from your breath. And because your breath has a smaller tighter aerosol, just because it can't be seen ordinarily, that aerosol will go everywhere. It gets through easier, it gets around easier.

Masks. Guard masks. Cloth masks. What are they good for? Oh, here's what they're good for. If I'm going to cough, they make it so I don't have to do this [coughs into a stack of what appears to be Kleenex] and catch the aerosol. Or here [indicates behind his shoulder]. Or pull out a handkerchief and do it.

They don't work.

Remember, I am a doctor. I do not play one on TV.
