1. When you are in a situation where you fear being judged, think of how many times you can recall judging anyone else for that thing. It’s possible you won’t be able to come up with a single example, and that can offer some perspective on whether you’re overthinking it.

2. If someone judges you, try to imagine all the possible reasons why they might have felt inclined to do so. You may find often enough that someone else’s need to judge you stems from their own insecurities or ignorance, and has very little to do with you at all.
