Triumph of the Druid! (Updated)

I was amused and delighted today to find, in the course of an unrelated search online, that I and my novel Star's Reach have both ended up enshrined on no less an icon of internet culture than TVTropes. What's more, whoever wrote the entries actually took the time to read my work and comment on it intelligently; all things considered, this was a bit of a surprise, but not at all an unpleasant one. No, it's not any kind of big deal in the greater scheme of things, but since this is doubtless as close as I'll ever get to hitting the big time, it's worth a grin. Not only that, they got the tropes right. 

(Update 3:30 pm) Okay, this is getting a bit weird. I just received a copy of New Dawn -- if you're not familiar with it, it's an alternative-realities publication from Australia that combines dissident politics and economics, conspiracy culture, esoteric spirituality, and high strangeness. (Full disclosure: I write for it now and then.) I wasn't expecting anything of mine in this issue, but there was a nice little half-page of text from the Modern Order of Essenes lessons, talking about the spiritual roots of health and illness, with a link to the download page and a reference to me. Now I'm waiting for another shoe to drop...
