Magic Monday

It's getting on for midnight, so we can proceed with a new Magic Monday. Ask me anything about occultism and I'll do my best to answer it. The illustration? One of the two famous drawings from the Aurea Catena Homeri (Golden Chain of Homer) by Anton Josef Kirchweger, one of the last of the red-hot central European alchemists. The two dragons represent the two principles of his alchemy, niter and salr (which of course are not the material substances called by these names) and the metals are shown around a hexagram in the middle.
