Magic Monday

It's almost midnight as I write this, so we can proceed with a new Magic Monday. Let's start things out with a bit of alchemical text:

The image is the first illustration from Splendor Solis, the most gorgeously illustrated of all the old alchemical texts. It shows the arma artis, the coat-of-arms of the art of alchemy:  on a field azure, a sun or. The eyes and mouth of the sun-face are smaller suns.
