Magic Monday

It's getting on for midnight, so here we go with a new Magic Monday. The picture is of  Morihei Ueshiba, founder of the martial art Aikido and lifelong student of traditional Japanese occultism. Most people who know about him know of his extraordinary martial arts abilities; far fewer know that he practiced kotodama, the Japanese system of sound- and letter-mysticism, and was a longtime member of the deeply occult Omoto-kyo sect of Shinto. 

Ask me anything about occultism and I'll do my best to answer it. Any question received by midnight Monday Eastern time will get an answer, though it may be Tuesday sometime before I get to them all.
