Well I don't know much of anything on climate (not op) but I do remember reading years back that the speculated ice age to come was caused by our current ice melting and then decreasing the salinity of the ocean which decreased the freeze point (and something about ocean currents). Does any of that still hold any weight or is the salinity point just one of the little feedback loops in a series of larger ones leading to a warmer climate?
