Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 33

The pandemic may have been scrubbed from the front pages at this point, but the semi-open posts  I've hosted here on the Covid-19 narrative, the inadequately tested experimental drugs for it, and the whole cascading mess surrounding them have continued to field a steady stream of comments, so I'm opening yet another space for discussion. The rules are the same as before: 

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here. 
 
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue. 

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules. 

With that said, as well-documented reports of harmful and fatal side effects from the Covid vaccines pile up in unprecedented numbers while the corporate media struggle to pretend that nothing is wrong, the floor is open for discussion.

Thank you, JMG, you have my immense appreciation for your time and effort here.

And a huge thank you also to the many commenters.

What's on my mind this week is not something new, but it's taking on more importance: how difficult it can be to find things online, now that Google, Twitter, FB, YT are all censoring and shadow-banning so aggressively. I find myself hunting around for articles and videos I've previously posted on and then not finding them-- unless I go back and search through the threads. (Note to self: keep list of important links.)

Much of the juiciest information and commentary these days is appearing on various scientists' Substack blogs-- but I can only wonder how long that will last.

Again, it's nothing new to say that finding quality information is a challenge, but it's on my mind especially right now.

As for Ukraine, whenever someone opens a conversation about that, how upset and worried they are and etc etc, I just think, oh, he's been vaxxed.

One of the recent interesting things is that talk of an omicron-specific vaccine seems to have disappeared, at least at this point, and now the dynamic pharma duo is talking about a second booster of what appears to be the same vaccine that no longer really works against Omicron. If this "vaccine" behaves like other known coronavirus vaccines, as a second booster it might give a week or two of half-a*s semi-protection before going really negative.

I also notice that hardly anyone talks about Israel anymore. Early on, the vaccine pushers loved Israel. They vaxxed the majority of their population first were supposed to set the example for the world as to how to end the pandemic. Now they're leading the world in vaccine failure. They rolled out the booster for the winter Omicron wave and yet were hit harder than most other countries.

This is a video of Scott Atlas, speaking at Hillsdale College, called 'The SARS2 Pandemic: Will Truth Prevail? | Scott Atlas | Academy for Science & Freedom'. In it he states as clear as any I have heard at this point, about how destructive Covid Policy actually was, in great detail.

One thing I hadn't considered and haven't heard talked about is how destructive lock down policy globally. The economy of a lot of poor countries is dependent on the American economy. Economists have long known, economic down-turns cause a lot of people to die. He highlights a study that suggests mortality from the lockdowns in America, might have caused a mortality rate 25x's globally, compared to the virus.

A lot of the excess mortality rate increases here in America I suspect, can be tied to the lock-downs. Adding in vaccine induced deaths. which Atlas does not discuss, it is becoming ever more clear, Covid Policy was far more deadly than the virus was, and this government, media and big tech are desperate enough to keep that knowledge from the public that they are willing to go full authoritarian, even provoking a war with a nuclear power.

In it you said that the consequences are: weakening of the immune system and circulatory system problems.
Might I ask how you have observed this? As I have, for now, not observed any negative side effects on the vaccinated in my area. They seem to be healthy.

Yes I struggle with this too as I live in Aus where double Vax rates are in the high 90% and triple Vax rates are now approaching 60% of the pop. There were a couple of immediate post-vax incidents that I know of. But long term I've seen nothing here in terms of immune dysfunction. Everyone seems as healthy as ever.

I've posted on this previously and a commenter suggested that it may be because we are in summer here and so we have high vitamin D. But I've been thinking on that and I don't think that could be the case since it's rained almost constantly this summer so there is barely any time for people to be getting outside.

Similarly I thought there may have been some kind of covid and Vax interaction (with Aus being locked down so long and not much covid here), but we have let covid loose in the community now and where I am basically everyone has, or knows multiple people who have, had it at least once now.

Why are there so many warnings of famine from govts (latest from France) and MSM?

Is this step 3 of the great reset? Will this be used to cover up fox deaths?
Remember how everything is the fault of Russia and everything causes heart attacks and sudden deaths?

Maybe now they are trying to get more specific so we will see famine as the cause of excess death rate (and of course famine is caused by Russia).

Unrelated but like any good paranoid-schizo, the MSM attributes God-like power to Putin and the Russians. Just like the Germans felt threatened by a tiny minority of jewish people - enough to respond with genocide - nowadays everybody feels threatened by Putin and my guess the answer will be exactly the same.

I think that some of us are learning to distrust more and more the establishment. For many the pandemic was the eye opener, once you see the scale of the deceipt you can't unsee it and you can't trust the narrative anymore...

Claire, I'm a member of the boomer generation, and I consider hostility against my generation to be richly merited due to their own behavior. Since the baby boom generation is currently far and away the wealthiest and most politically powerful subset of people in today's industrial nations, furthermore, it's hardly fair to compare them to immigrants, blacks, and Jews! "Plantation owners" might be a more accurate comparison.

It's also worth noting that most generations in the past, by the time they've gotten as old as the boomers are now, have retired and let the next generation move into the seats of power. The boomers have refused to do that, which is why the 2020 presidential election had the two oldest major party candidates in American history, and why generally speaking we've got such a gerontocracy stuck in place. Here again, hostility about that doesn't seem irrational to me.

We don't know.

We also don't know how much is due to vax or even mask mandates.

People who MUST keep their job to keep a roof over their heads may comply with vax mandates even if they don't want the jabs - but people who don't HAVE to keep that job may quit and look for something else. I think even mask mandates are similar - if you need the money, you'll suck it up and wear the muzzle. But if you can retire or quit and not have to breath through wet cloth all day - well, maybe you do.

A lot of the resignations I've heard about have been from older workers in a second career (sometimes part time) who didn't NEED the money, and parents where one person worked full time and the other part time, and the part-timer quit, sometimes to home-school, or sometimes for other reasons (eg. not getting jabbed or wearing a mask for a part-time gig we don't absolutely need). Etc.

There's a lot going on with resignations, I think.

Geburah and Gedulah

Last week Strauss and Howe came up for discussion here, and I want to throw into the mix Dion Fortune's view of cyclical change in society vis a vis our current situation. From The Mystical Qabalah, Chapter V, Part II, written in 1935:

"Especially do we see the alternating rhythms of Geburah and Gedulah [Chesed] in national life. I venture to prophesy that the nation is passing out of a Gedulah phase and entering a Geburah one. Everywhere we see a mercy, that has been overstrained by the imperfections of human nature, being abrogated in favour of a severity which shall restore the balance of even-handed justice and prevent evil from multiplying.
...
"When a new phase comes in on a group-mind scale, it is upon the least englightened, the most crowd-minded that its influence is strongest; the cultured always tend to stand aside from extremes. We see this clearly indicated in the line taken by the various types of journalism. Popular journalism is crying out for the free use of the cat as punishment for crime; for the repudiation of debts and international agreements; for, in fact, a general slashing around with the sword of Geburah. To get back to Strauss and Howe, a Geburah phase corresponds to Winter and Spring, the periods of crisis and collaborative renewal, while Gedulah corresponds to Summer and Autumn, the expansion and unravelling. As Fortune mentions here and elsewhere in the chapter, the beginnings and endings of each phase, when the influences of Geburah and Gedulah overlap, tend toward extremes, and I would say conflicting extremes. Thus at the time of her writing you had all the sabre-rattling and appeasement dithering that led up to the onset of war and the rule of Geburah; midway between her and us is the Summer of Love and the strong currents of social rebellion and reaction that ushered in an age of Gedulah.

The Covid phenomenon fits this model in that the public health policies of the past two years were performed in the name of caring for the vulnerable, a late-Gedulah impulse carried to grave excess. This is important because it was the idea that captured the public imagination and seemed to justify the whole show. Meanwhile the heavy hand of oncoming Geburah brought us authoritarianism and a swiftly emerging popular impulse to find and attack public enemies, manifesting on all sides of the debate.

Presidential public image tends to match this cyclic pattern fairly well; scowling Trump was a harbinger of Geburah and genial Biden is a holdover from Gedulah, indicating the mixed tenor of the moment, but otherwise the tendency is to see a string of folksy presidents alternating with a streak of authoritative ones, regardless of party affiliation.

Denmark thoughts

Quick look at Denmark - current European poster child for the BA.2 downslope.

Only trouble is, though their figures suggest a recent big reduction in infections, a casual glance behind them paints a slightly different story.

How come?

Put simply the number of positive tests currently is a really high proportion of all tests (20%):

This suggests to me they aren't finding all positive infections, probably by a factor of 2 at least. If we multiply the official number of positives (around 7400) by 2 we get 14,800. If average length of infection is 10 days we see 148,000 positives right now. 148,000 ÷ 6 million total population = roughly 1 in 40 infected at the moment. Still pretty high and suggestive to me that reinfections are going to keep on going at a certain level in highly vixenated countries - I'm sure most reading this will have some good ideas why. And I'm sure governments won't want to admit this, especially if mortality or hospitalisations rise at all. Might also partially explain reductions in testing. Worth watching I'd say. :-/

Are you sure it's just the vaccine making people vulnerable to infections? I can see the virus evolving towards endemicity, with a typical infection cycle (winter high, summer low) and the official COVID levels being more a function of the degree of COVID awareness (high testing for COVID = high COVID levels, low COVID testing = low COVID levels) as the virus becomes milder and easier to spread.

I have a quandary.

Without going into boring details about the background situation (I'm too tired to go long form like erica [Love you erica], I got a call today from my x-wife. she was supposed to pick up our daughter Saturday and fly back to the capital city for my daughters spring break. Anyway, she said she had tested positive for the couf, and actually sounded sniffly (this is amazing to me as in 15 years she was sick twice that i can remember). She wanted to know what i thought and should she delay her trip "a couple of days."

My daughter is unfoxed, there are multiple...[Love you erica] anyway I said "Ok call the airline and see if you could move it back." She said she would lie about the reasons (not sick, some kinda scheduling FUBAR etc) and would call me back. No this is not necessarily abnormal for her, reason for divorce...[Love you erica].

She did call back an hour later and had gotten them to push back their flight out... 24 hours. since she counted not coming here Thursday but Saturday as multiple days.

I spoke with a cousin about it and she was shock as the "rules" say 7 days (I think, help me fill in the blanks?), endangering our child, irresponsible &*%$#!!! [Love you erica] and thought I should tell her to get bent. I WOULD tend to agree but... [Long detailed backstory... Love you erica].

Biked to the grocry store today, and one of the items I was hoping to buy was some distilled water for our steam iron. “Sorry, we’re all out.” Went to the nearby hardware store; surely they would have it? Nope. “No store around here has that right now. Check back in a couple of weeks.” What’s up with that? Are all the water distillery workers out with Coflu? Was, unbeknownst to me, all distilled water previously coming from Russia?

For geographical reference, we’re along the Central California coastline in San Luis Obispo county.

All our local stores are out of distilled water (eastern Calif.), but my father has found it at two local gas stations. He needs it for his CPAP machine.

On February 10, we achieved a remarkable victory — Pfizer was forced to withdraw its Emergency Use Authorization application to inject kids 6 months to four years old because the data was so terrible. But it was a temporary reprieve. Even though Pfizer’s clinical trials of the genetically modified mRNA shot have already failed twice in this age group, Pfizer is planning to submit another application for Emergency Use Authorization in early April — just under 28 days from now.

This is one of the last battles in this phase of the war. There are 18 million children under five who are potentially impacted by this decision. But Pfizer’s real goal is to achieve permanent liability protection. Currently, Pfizer shots are authorized for emergency use and given liability protection under the PREP Act. Emergency use authorization expires, usually after a year, so Pfizer has to apply for full approval — which is not difficult because they control the FDA. As long as the PREP Act is in force, the Pfizer shot has liability protection as a “covered countermeasure.” But the liability protections under the PREP Act are schedule to expire October 1, 2024. However, if Pfizer can get the mRNA shot added to the childhood vaccine schedule, then it will enjoy permanent liability protection under the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act. So that’s what this fight is all about.

Latest Update, with thoughts

Again doing okay, back has recovered.

Looking at The Economist's Excess Deaths page (https://www.economist.com/graphic-detail/coronavirus-excess-deaths-tracker), I've noticed that the amount of Excess Deaths has remained steady over the past two years. Some of it (especially the early part) is COVID, some of it is reaction to the vaccines, and some of it is response to the lockdown, delayed medical procedures and other things).

What should be interesting is that, with the various mandates being cut back or cut off, we have a way of measuring just what is what. An immediate drop would imply a response to the lockdown, a delayed yet steady dropdown would imply the resumption of necessary medical procedures, and the degree which the "excess die-off" continues shows the negative side-effects of the vaccine and the remaining virulence of the COVID itself.

Booster quandry

Hello JMG and commentariat,

After not missing one of these posts since August, I've been away from here for 2 weeks because my 93 year old mom had a mild stroke. Thankfully she is recuperating pretty well at home. She got the fox last May and now the visiting nurses are insisting she get boosted.

Up until her stroke, I was considering it, given her age, as she hadn't apparently suffered any side effects. However, now, considering all I've read here, my sentiment is no booster, no way! I never thought she was at risk for stroke, no cardiovascular issues, good BP, no blood thinners, no meds beyond an eyedrop for glaucoma prevention. Is old age in itself a risk factor? That's what everyone is saying... she did fall 2 days before the stroke; did that cause it? Of course, I'll likely never know. No MRI was done, as it looked like she was dying (due to lack of fluids and food during her ER stay and I refuse to send her back there).

So I guess where I'm going with this is I'm trying to find strength to resist the nurse's insistence. Perhaps I'll say something along the lines of wanting to wait till fall to get boosted. Or maybe I'll be more honest and say I've heard of people getting clots and strokes after foxination... Any other ideas?

For 2 years we have kept her healthy and Covid-free, I believe what we are doing is working. If anyone is so inclined, I would be grateful to be included in any prayers to have strength sent my way!

Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced the changes on Thursday, two weeks before the vaccination requirement for family doctors, dentists, chiropractors and a host of other regulated health professionals was scheduled to take effect.

The unions also said they were reinstating fired workers, or at least, some of them had announced that, while others hadn't decided as of that date (I'm going to guess with the staff shortages...)

After a couple of replies to my last comment/post on Denmark, I'd just like to say I am finding it a bit weird at the moment that we are still finding ourselves here and concerned. This is all supposed to have gone away and settled. And of course the majority in the middle are mostly seeing it that way, and it is mostly the mask wearer 'follow the science' types that are still going with it all. Yet we continue here.

Why?

Because unfair mandates continue for some and it's likely all is not cool with the vax, body and the virus interplay. When that becomes obvious, especially with a mild virus, well ...

For me it feels like four or five shoes haven't fallen yet. That's why I keep coming back. You all are fairly sane folks, and that is refreshing. When the shoes start hitting the ground, I know who I want to hear from.
