Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 32

The pandemic may have been scrubbed from the front pages at this point, but the semi-open posts  I've hosted here on the Covid-19 narrative, the inadequately tested experimental drugs for it, and the whole cascading mess surrounding them have continued to field a steady stream of comments, so I'm opening yet another space for discussion. The rules are the same as before: 

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here. 
 
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue. 

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules. 

With that said, as the media bangs frantically on the current distraction du jour, while blood clot problems show up in previously healthy young people at unprecedented rates, the floor is open for discussion.

Is anyone else noticing that China seems to be pursuing a Covid-zero strategy even as everyone else seems to be easing up on it? Since, as I understand it, the difference we'd see between demonic influence and a god's curse is that demons eventually let their victims see how stupid what they did was, and a god will guide their victims all the way to their doom without ever allowing them to realize it, this seems, oddly enough, to suggest that the Covid phenomena in China is a god's curse, while outside it's looking more like it was demonic.

Does anyone have any evidence for or against this, or ideas why this might be the case?

I've suspected for some time now that China may be using Covid as an excuse to go after dissidents. If the US and its allies have tried to gin up a color revolution there -- and it would be an obvious gimmick -- shutting down cities and rounding up dissidents under the cover of medical necessity would be a clever and effective response.

I don't know that that's the case, of course. It's a speculation, no more.

It is wild how the narrative is falling. my well educated stock obsessed coworkers have shifted nearly all talk away from covid and onto how horrible putin is. Meanwhile one of my managers - the same one that reacted to the virus by snatching up cheap cruise tickets - pointed out to me 'you notice that fauci is awol there days? and whatever happened to all the truckers? and didnt that whole impeachment thing have to do with shady dealings in ukraine? why are eastern european leaders meeting in kyiv, i thought it was getting bombed relentlessly, that doesnt make sense'

I recently got some notebooks from a dead cousin; my mother has finally persuaded her sister I ought to take a look at them. He died from a suicide in April 2020 at the age of 29. What shocked me reading over them was that they are a magical journal: rituals, outcomes, meditation, divination, etc. I had no idea he was an occultist, but he did some pretty intense work. However, we stopped talking to each other around when I picked up my ceremonial practice, and so I never picked up on it after starting my work.

His life was not going the way he wanted, and he was caught in the same double binds which have made many men born in the 90s to the comfortable classes so miserable. He got caught up with the 2012 phenomena, and managed to convince himself that the world would change completely that December 21. When that failed to happen, he first convinced himself that it had happened, but it would take time to become obvious; and then made contact with a spirit which agreed to change the world in exchange for his soul and that he take certain actions to foster the change. The description of the spirit and effects it had suggests it was demonic.

Those actions helped convince a good many people to vote for Trump, including myself and my aunt; and it's rather disturbing to note how close March of 2020 was to 2012, and that a few people sensitive to the inner planes I know have said that the inner planes started getting nasty in 2013 or 2014. Is it possible that part of what's driven the madness of the last few years is that sometime in 2013, when the universe failed to give them the change they desperately wanted, a substantial number of people sold their souls in exchange for change, and what happened in 2020 was that the demons collected on their first batch of victims in their current scheme?

Ouch. That's got to have been a harrowing experience.

With regard to your hypothesis, that's certainly possible. More broadly, I think you're right that the total failure of the 2012 fantasy was a crucial breakpoint for the collective consciousness of our time. The inner planes were already getting pretty toxic before then, but yes, they worsened sharply after that, and the collapse of ethics and even basic reasoning ability among the privileged classes -- though again, it had been building for a while before then -- went into overdrive at that point.

JMG - Covid accelerated our continued march toward centralized, authoritarian technocracy. With covid out of the headlines, we still see that march continue - health passports, digital currencies, continued censorship, etc.

My question is: "how long does this march continue - how much further will it go?"

The ultimate outcome cannot be sustainably achieved, as it's a violation of ecological laws. But, we have gotten much further down the road than I ever thought possible. At this point, it feels like we should hope for a collapse to prevent that dystopia. I know that's binary thinking, but it's not evident to me that this technocratic force can be stopped organically. Thoughts?

I'll have a response to this in an upcoming post. The very short form is that I expect the descent into authoritarianism to accelerate, but to contract geographically and demographically. Do you recall Ida Auken's farcical "I own nothing and I have never been happier" essay? In her imaginary techno-Stalinist future, there were people who homesteaded in abandoned farms (think about what that implies for population levels) and stayed outside the technocratic prison she inhabited. It would be a waste of increasingly scarce resources for an authoritarian technocracy to try to impose its rule on everyone; it would be much more viable to make submission to the system the cost of having access to the dwindling stock of advanced technology. Thus it looks very much as though they're planning on a two-tier society in the industrial nations, divided by increasingly hard barriers between the privileged classes inside the bubble and the poor but free deplorables outside it. \

But we'll discuss this in more detail later.

I think I see a metaphorical parallel here between the covid crisis and the biblical Plague of Darkness:

1. People are screaming out for freedom ("Let my people go!");
2. Governments everywhere are promising freedom, but instead are heaping on more oppression;
3. The population is divided with no middle ground: one side demands liberty, the other safety;
4. Those demanding liberty have the light of knowledge and understanding;
5. Most of the population dwells in the darkness of ignorance;
6. Nobody went anywhere for about 3 days.... 2020 - 2021 - 2022

My knowledge of history is not sufficiently detailed to tell whether past crises fit a pattern matching the sequence of these plagues; but if it does, we can be sure there's more trouble to come. Darkness was the 9th plague; up next would then be the last one - Death of the Firstborn - followed immediately by the destruction of Egypt (metaphorically, all the world's governments).

I really hope I'm wrong about this. Anybody else have any thoughts about this?

A bunch of slightly unusual synchronicities have popped up lately, which led me to read the book John Dies at the End by David Wong. The whole story is kind of long and maybe pointless, I did a blog post on it with more detail but I'll try to briefly sum up.

Kek is mentioned in the book, and the premise of the book is there is a drug that several characters get injected with that essentially allows them to see demons and opens portals to hellish realms full of demons. I think the book was originally released in maybe 2009, then the movie came out in 2013. There are sequels to the book I haven't read but probably will, although the book is of mixed quality. It definitely has a 2+2 = petunia vibe.

I don't know if this is an appropriate comment but I found it a little unsettling. I started reading the book around when the sun and Neptune were conjoining, not on purpose, it just happened that way. If this is too dumb, feel free to not post it, JMG!

I've watched that movie three or four times in the past year and a half, which is unusual for me, usually I can't watch a movie more than once. There was something about it that felt familiar but that I couldn't quite place, if that makes sense. And also a sense that there was something important in it that I needed to grasp. Not sure if what I needed to grasp is what you're pointing to, but the movie resonated with me in a strange way.

Here in Australia, Nick Coatsworth, one of our (rather gorgeous) former spokesdoctors for covid shots (he has some sort of official position) has rubbished the calls for a fourth shot, specifically saying "don't listen". Makes me wonder if he can hear that demonic voice that most of this community obviously can't hear. He's very sensibly pointed out that you don't take advice from the CEO of a company as to how much of the company's product you should consume.

All the way from vax propaganda poster-boy (Deputy Commonwealth CMO for a bit + role with ACT Health for a bit) to "don't listen". Personally, I put his shift down to the preppy little elite so and so applying some reptilian-cunning to get Liberal pre-selection in the upcoming federal election.

Did you know that the 'good' doctor went to the same 'good' school as the former Liberal Attorney-General Christian Porter? Both elite Hale boys. You might recall the Attorney-General I'm talking about - he's the one who controversially denied raping that woman who killed herself relatively recently and was finally sacked from a ministerial role for funding his legal defence with large anonymous cash donations in contravention of parliamentary rules regarding disclosures of interests.

Quick update from Eastern Europe:
- Nobody is talking about Coflu anymore. Completely forgotten.
- Some people are optimistic about a possible war with Russia because "Russia is so weak". They are also happy that Europe is rearming. JMG mentioned the parallels with WWI when people that marched for peace became suddenly excited and happy to march to war.
- Some old people are losing their minds. That might be normal (I don't have hard numbers) but people that previously were active and took care of themselves are suddenly TV zombies refusing to live their house. Actually maybe the cause is the TV?
- Everything else is normal. Economy is up, nobody is worried about inflation or shortages. People are buying and building houses and enjoying life.

My conclusion is that like someone else put it "we are in the eye of the storm". Whatever comes next is going to be a complete surprise to most people. I don't know if it's war, inflation, food shortages or maybe Russia will finally wake up and stop the export of fossil fuels. Whatever it is, I expect most people to refuse to prepare and deny reality to their deaths.

The vaccinators in Germany continue to beat ye olde dead horse. Here is a machine translation of a summary of recent discussions in the German parliament. The good news here is that some truths have at least been stated in broad daylight by petitioners against the proposed mandates and the more the vaccinators force it, the more of this mess may see the light of day:

She said this currently makes no sense in light of the significantly less dangerous Omikron variant. A vaccination that protects neither against infection nor against transmission of the virus and promises only a mild course cannot become the subject of a duty, Bresnik writes in her submission. The opposite was the case: the vaccinated staff had lulled themselves into a deceptive sense of security and appeared without testing, "which had long since become a daily routine for us unvaccinated staff."

One reason for refusing vaccination was vaccine side effects, the petitioner said during the meeting. "Many colleagues experience these side effects in their daily clinical lives and see that is not associated with vaccination," she said, speaking of a rate of 80 percent unreported suspected cases. "The vaccines do not have our confidence," the petitioner said.

Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG), Edgar Franke (SPD), countered that the risk of transmission of the virus to third parties is reduced by the vaccination. As far as side effects were concerned, he said, everything could be read up on this on the pages of the Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI).

Franke went on to say that the states would implement the regulation, which takes effect March 16, on a discretionary basis. The facilities would report the unvaccinated employees to the respective health offices. There, a decision would be made as to whether the employees could be deployed and, if so, where. "That's up to the states," the secretary of state stressed. The unvaccinated employees would be heard by the health offices. In addition, there are to be transition periods, "i.e., a kind of cooling-off period to decide whether they want to be vaccinated after all," Franke said. Implementation offers to employees are also planned. Only then, he said, can employment bans be discussed. "This will be carefully examined according to the principle of proportionality," he announced.

How many employees from the handicapped assistance, from nursing facilities and hospitals could go as a result of the institution-related vaccination obligation from the job, the government representative was not able to say. That would be pure speculation, because the BMG does not have any data on this. Franke also said that the states could only make very limited statements in this regard."

The idea is, American roads are designed not for safety, but for speed and volume. The main thing keeping crashes down is congestion, which forces drivers to go slow. Remove the congestion, and the roads become deadly. And when the media reports on this, they generally ignore road design and focus on psychology. Instead of looking at the failure of roads to stop people from driving dangerously, they look at the failure of individuals to stop themselves from driving dangerously.

Howe and Strauss on Millennials

This is covid related, but before I mention why, I'd like to mention two insights I had with the Howe/Strauss model of generations.

WWII started 12 years after the 1929 stock market crash. This is when the crisis really accelerated and we experienced an existential threat. Also, the GI Generation, the Hero Generation, ranged in age from 17 to 40 in 1941. (The GI Generation was born from 1901 to 1924.)

For our current crisis, 12 years passed from the financial crash of 2008 to 2020, with Covid. The current Hero Generation--the Millennials--in the year 2022 range in age from 18 to 40. (The Millennials were born from 1982 to 2004.)

Provided the Howe/Strauss model is correct, and I think that they are at least worth listening to, I always wondered when the Millennials would become the Heroes. I also wondered when Gen X would step up and be competent managers to ride us through the crisis. 2022 looks to be the year when it should all happen.

I see the Millennials as a group that has been reluctant to acknowledge that they were promised the moon yet given nothing. Yet there seems to be a growing number of them that are very angry over their lot. They were told to go to college and that the extortionary level of tuition would easily be paid for with a high-paying job. They can't afford homes and are mocked for living with their parents. They are told they're lazy because they know how unfair they were treated and opt out. They are the shock troops for the radical left and it appears to me at least, that many took the jab.

Here is where I get to Covid:

These young and healthy Millennials are seeing their friends die or become permanently ill or disabled. They know that they are young and these things should not be happening. I read, and I can't find the source, that so far Millennials have lost 60,000 people because of the vaccines. That's a Vietnam War in just over a year.

This might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Unfortunately there's a binary here. As JMG is fond of saying, the opposite of a bad idea is another bad idea. They might want to tear down the system.

As I'm an Xer, I only know the mindset of Millennials by talking to them. They always tell me that they were screwed. The Millennials online are often tilted towards the Antifa/Ultra Left side of things, so I don't see them as truly representative of the generation.

I would really be interested to hear from others on this. Along with Millennials, does anyone see Xers as rising to the challenge? I see a few. Maybe that's all history needs, is a few.

I've been fascinated by Strauss & Howe ever since reading "Generations" roughly 30 years ago. As grand a vision as Oswald Spengler's-- cyclical historical patterns predicting huge changes at predictable intervals.

According to their model, the Millennials have no choice but to take up the challenges appropriate to their age. Millennials now are people in the prime of life at the right time to do tremendous things. Not because of who they are, but more because of when they came of age. History demands people of a certain age to play certain roles. Certain Boomers will fill their assigned role as "gray champions," too.

Exactly how it all shakes out-- triumph or catastrophe-- remains to be seen. There sure does seem to be a sad bunch of possible "gray champions," though. (Trump? Clinton? Biden? Nope!)

But then I recall reading some books written in the 30's and early 40's by Louis Bromfield, a contemporary of Hemingway and Fitzgerald. He positively detested FDR and his policies. Those sentiments seem to have aged poorly, and can seem even quaint. Desperate times may call for desperate measures that seem excessive later.

I constantly wonder the same thing, with a millennial kid who has dabbled in wokeism and has started down a PMC path. Regardless, said kid still seems to have a good nose for BS.

It is a constant challenge to see, if only dimly, what is coming down the pike, and to know it makes no real difference that I see it.

dr Mercola has written a summary of the work of dr Stepahie Seneff (MIT). She has published some very deep and wide ranging analysis and prognoses of the vax. The conclusion is very worrisome “Seneff suspects that in the next 10 to 15 years, we’ll see a dramatic spike in prion diseases, autoimmune diseases, neurodegenerative diseases at younger ages, and blood disorders such as blood clots, hemorrhaging, stroke and heart failure.” She goes into much detail about how the vax causes these pathologies and also explains how the problems will get worse and extended in duration because of the boosters. My 70-year-old (unvaxxed) mom finally got the virus. She had a miserable few days (seemed more like original CVID, which my husband and I got last fall, in severity, compared to the milder variant that has been passing around my peer group), but she is mostly recovered, although fatigued and somewhat demoralized by not being able to taste her coffee. Now her 93-year-old (I think vaxxed?) mom probably has it, too, and my mom is caring for her in her home. My father in law is an osteopath, and he has started prescribing Ivermectin. My husband and I just put in an order for a few hundred pounds more wheat berries, rice, black beans, and lentils from Azure Standard.

So...

Here is some of the things i have been reading/thinking for a while:

According to Denniger (The market ticker) which i have some problems with but... He made a point that "1 in 30 people will get F***ed" by the vaccine.

Something i believe i saw here (a link someone left) was talking about a MASSIVE wave of VAIDS (Vaccine induced Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome), their talking about the ENTIRE Millennial generation with the olds to follow soon after. Don't know about the source but that has never stopping things from being true so...

Now I don't know about y'all but, i have been looking for a place to be and a "tribe" to join. And a lot of that is looking at rents and housing costs all over the US. And i can tell you it is ugly out there, prices are UP and availability is DOWN. (If your local is different drop a comment i will look at almost Anywhere).

Anyway we are dealing with a housing shortage, cost increases (regular unleaded here is $3.99) food is going UP and my local WinCo grocer is starting to have trouble keeping the shelves full.

If the die-off predictions work out, we MAY have a LOT of open housing. If the above discussion of the cities closing up to keep the riff raff (Proud member) out...

Well Boy we could be looking "A Brave New World".

Trouble is i am not a farmer, that part of the family died off a couple of decades ago. I live in/near a lot of Rural country but in a northern climb. wouldn't know which end of the chicken to cut off and don't think the descriptions in Charlotte's Web will help.

I gather they just parrot whatever comes out on Twitter. Obama tweeted that he had covid-- and encouraged everyone to get vaccinated!
