walking through a cemeteryThe semi-open posts  I've hosted here on the Covid-19 narrative, the inadequately tested experimental drugs for it, and the whole cascading mess surrounding them have continued to field a very high number of comments, so I'm opening yet another space for discussion. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, as more and more vaccinated people call in sick with the disease the vaccine was supposed to keep them from getting, and the euphemism "died suddenly" sounds like a repeated drumbeat in the media, the floor is open for discussion.

A magic resistance against Trump seems to be an awfully US-centered thing to invoke something that touches the whole planet in such a profound way.

I would say the global madness is also US centered, if you look at the countries that are having the most madness are the most aligned with the US madness foreign policy so you can guess the crazy health measures are coming also from US.

Or shorter: US found a way to outsource the chaos abroad to the vassals and to some failed states.

You and hearthspirit are both right of course, to some degree.

But as far as I know, the madness has also taken hold in parts of Asia and South America. And people all over the world are affected, even if their country didn‘t go full-on mad. If I remember right, serious sources were estimating that millions would or might die from starvation in Africa because of all the lockdowns and other interruptions. Heck, even the poor sea horses have to swim their way through masks blown into the sea…

So I‘m still not convinced that this perspective isn‘t too US centered. We shall see, I guess. Or, which is more likely, we shall never know for sure. :-)

(Or I might simply be wrong about all this. As I said, this is all fairly new to me and I only have some common sense to rely on. For whatever that is worth… :D I know that‘s not an unlikely possibility, hence I was asking what made JMG and others so sure it was the Trump hysteria which started all this, and not something else.)

Well, Trump dominated global news coverage in a way which other US presidents did not. There was something weird there...

True. That, and the women‘s marches and all that. I might just be thinking too complicatedly. That tends to happen sometimes… ;-)
