Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 24

The semi-open posts  I've hosted here on the Covid-19 narrative, the inadequately tested experimental drugs for it, and the whole cascading mess surrounding them have continued to field a very high number of comments, so I'm opening yet another space for discussion. The rules are the same as before: 

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here. 
 
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue. 

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules. 

With that said, as more and more vaccinated people call in sick with the disease the vaccine was supposed to keep them from getting, and the euphemism "died suddenly" sounds like a repeated drumbeat in the media, the floor is open for discussion.

Well, I guess it's official. Even covid-authoritarianism-pessimist CJ Hopkins is declaring that the worm has turned with regard to the Narrative. However, he cautions, there is still a long trudge ahead before we're out of this particular dark and scary forest:

Well, I wouldn‘t exactly call that piece „optimistic“… ;-)

But yep, something must have shifted massively in his opinion. That‘s a lot less doom-and-gloom than before.

And I suppose he‘s right, of course - the most interesting times are still ahead of us.

The latest Democratic talking point seems to be that reason we threw out old-school pandemic response models was because of something-something the Trump administration did in 2017. I'm not clear on what - but somehow, the pandemic response debacle dates to 2017 and Trump.

Donald Trump did plenty of things wrong between March of 2020 and January of 2021, but putting all of the blame for this global garbage fire on either his administration, or him personally, is just nuts. But that may be where we're headed.

The Dem establishment is pretty predictable....

What really worries me is a simple question, one I can't answer: How many minds are going to snap entirely once they start trying that?

I posted on the last iteration of this forum that what we are seeing now is the beginning of the next phase of this gong/horror show - the societal train wreck. And it is speeding toward you.
There will be nothing left of Western societies when the dust settles.

That is why it is so important for those of us who see this unfolding (unvaxxed AND vaxxed) to begin building alternate networks for mutual protection and survival.

There's a heatmap out on the internet where they outline which regions wanted to get fully vaxxed - and which ones didn't. Based on that heatmap, the southeastern US, Russia and Africa will survive. Everywhere else is going to take all the consequences of the vax to the face. And by now, the list of consequences is both growing and unpleasant.

Yikes, there's nothing like pictures of the aftermath of Jonestown to remind me that this is not and never has been a game! As a type of social primate, we are awfully prone to placing all of our unquestioning trust in charismatic silverbacks.

Hopkins may be optimistic about the cult's hold on society finally collapsing, but he still seems to be a stark realist when it comes to the ghastly toll yet to be taken. Arsenic was positively humanitarian compared to what today's cult cooked up. At least it left its victims with nowhere near as long to be tortured by the realization of what had been done to them.

What was the best way to care for and comfort cult members after they had already swallowed the Kool-Aid? Does anyone really know? Everyone's compassion is going to be tested to its limits over the coming year. May we all discover our better natures as we pass through this valley of the shadow of death to the life awaiting us on its other side.
