technosocial logoAnother podcast for your listening pleasure. I'm on the air, or some cybernetic equivalent thereof, on the Technosocial Podcast with hosts Owen Cox and Daniel Fraga. Our theme is the interface between magic and politics, with the occult dimensions of Nazism, the rise of the 1960s counterculture, and the current twilight of the age of reason among the themes. Check it out here

It's funny. I was just thinking about the intersections of counterculture. Look forward to cracking open a beer and listening to this. Cheers.

Will 2021 be a record-setting year in terms of the number of podcasts you were invited on?

JMG had 26 podcasts, interviews or articles published in 2021, against 12 in 2020.
It is a record breaking year, and it's not over yet.

Really enjoyed this podcast. You touched on so many points that are dear to my heart that I don't know where to begin. Perhaps at this time, the world is bringing together folks who "get it," although from diverse lands and traditions and training. Lately I've found a lot of old friends coming from out of the woodwork and what is bringing us all together is need for connections and community and keeping one another sane in an age of insane MSM! This seemed to quicken pace, after I started reading your blogs.

Loved what you said about prayer - that it's about hearing more than speaking. In esoteric Russian Orthodoxy is all about forming that relationship with the HGA to teach you the fine points that cannot be spoken in plain language or dogma.

Learning to navigate the Astral world requires guidance from one who can successfully navigate (HGA, for instance), but too often it is the blind leading the blind, thus the tendencies to access the less illuminating parts of the astral region (or what I call "commercials" from the astral). Many who enter the path do not realize that the results are not instant, but require years of failure and then gradual success and sight. Most fail for lack of patience, thus the easy temptation to the misuse of these forces.

Thanks again for sharing such a wonderful interview and sharing your connection to the Druid path. Yes, these paths do find us, don't they?

Great talk! Let's explore the darker side. After reading "Là-Bas," by Huysman, and learning about the depravity of Bluebeard, Jeanne d'Arc's former captain, I can accept the charges against satanism and pedophiles as posited by the likes of David Icke. I am quite interested in the concept of spiritual war, and not satisfied with the ebb and flow of ... things. Falling back on what we learned following your exploration of, "The Cosmic Doctrine" - what about this? And how might we muster against. coboarts

Good points. I hadn't connected Huysman that way, although in the end I know he ran off to the monastery. I have Churton's book, haven't gotten to it yet. I see that blood libel has a long history for false accusations of ritual murder, mostly against Jews. David Icke is probably a complete charlatan, he never quotes his sources. I'm skeptical, but some of conspiracy culture, particularly The Last American Vagabond and Corbett Report, which are always well documented, make an important contribution to the information warfare in which we are immersed. I gave up television a long time ago, but frankly, having recently been off the Internet for several days and blogs for a couple weeks, I might just have to keep my head within walking distance. I've always been a news junkie, so it will take some adjusting. That's why I didn't give up your blog - consistently good stuff. coboarts

Sounds interesting. Been binge listening to Hermetix after the last time you announced you were on there. Would be interesting if you were on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory or Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis.

Here's the link to their website.

I usually listen to the tail end of the show when driving to work on the radio. I like this show better than Coast to Coast if I'm being honest, mostly because the host seems to flow with things better. Their main focus is para-political and paranormal news and commentary.

I looked up 3rd Reich of Dreams after listening to this only to find that Amazon has it at sell your first born prices. Abe books isn’t much better at only sell a kidney.

great interview. This interview has brought me back to a question I can't seem to answer regarding gods, which I will save for Magic Monday.

I'm listening to the podcast now, and it is very interesting. I've just finished the part where you were discussing the archetypical/divine forces that help to shape our societies and their development into the future. Very, very interesting stuff. I will also say that it has helped me better understand the Jesii. My Catholic parish is very Novus Ordo (in practice, not the actual architecture of the old church building, which is utterly breathtaking) and I can feel the presence of the "meek and mild" modernist Jesus that seems to have taken over so much of Catholicism. I find myself wondering if I should just abandon the NO altogether, and attend the SSPX chapel that is about an hour from my home. A lot to ponder, meditate, and pray about.

I also found very interesting the part on the possibility that Hitler and his beliefs might be reworked and developed into some future religion. Whether or not that actually occurs, it seems that the seeds for it are now present. I'm thinking of two things: Holocaust denial and how the historical Nazi movement, originally a socialist movement, has been morphed into a supposedly right-wing, conservative movement. Those who accept Neo-Nazi beliefs seem to have made themselves feel better by claiming their "prophet" didn't commit genocide. Meanwhile, the Leftists seem to have done a good job of making the Nazis out to be something they really weren't. It isn't too hard for me to imagine that, as time goes on, and the decline sets in (and some loss of knowledge, and the ability to study primary sources), that these seeds could, indeed, sprout into some kind of religion. An interesting, if very off-putting, thought.

If Judaism survives, this could be another source of antisemitism a thousand years from now, given that Hitler is well on his way to become a demonic figure there....

Since I'm a Kyivan, I must admit that I'm somewhat biased when it comes to the likes of Dugin and Surkov, but they're pretty unpopular in Russia as well. I was chatting with my Russian friend today (who lives in Novosibirsk!) and I asked what he thinks about Dugin. I was a little surprised when he told me hasn't the slightest idea who that is. So Dugin is considered a fascist, proponent of racial politics and just bug-shit crazy by Russians here's a link Дугин (https://lurkmore.to/Дугин) to a very popular Russian website, I'm deliberately not using any Ukrainian sources.) One of the thing he had tried to do is to unite Russian Orthodoxy and Thelema, that's why Russians don't like him so much. By the way, famous and somewhat controversial Protodeacon of the Russian Orthodox Church, Andrey Kuraev, believes that there are "occult elements" in Dugin’s views and considers Dugin “more dangerous than any Blavatsky because (he’s smarter and more educated)” and that he wants to turn Russian Orthodoxy into Cabala. He doesn’t like Dugin’s “Revolutionary terror” ideology either. (http://ronsslav.com/o-evraziystve-i-dugine-mnenie-andreya-kuraeva/). Dugin saw Nazis in every corner of Ukraine not so long ago, just like most democrats see them in every person wearing the MAGA hat. Well, it turned out that Ukrainians are very strange kind of Nazis who voted for the Jewish president (our prime minister is also Jewish). Russian propaganda used pictures from movie sets about WWII to prove the rise of neo-Nazis in Ukraine.
Here's one of his views:
"I am a supporter of black people. White civilization; their cultural values, false, dehumanizing model of the world, built by them - did not pay off. Everything goes to the beginning of the anti-white pogroms on a planetary scale. Russia saved only by the fact that we are not pure white. Predatory multinational corporations, oppression and suppression of all others, MTV, gays and lesbians - this is the fruit of white civilization, from which it is necessary to get rid of. So I am for reds, yellows, greens, blacks - but not for whites. I wholeheartedly on the side of the people of Zimbabwe." (https://www.kommersant.ru/doc/336905) Yes, let's get rid of whites!
When it comes to Surkov, who believes that there's no such state as Ukraine, well, I don't think he even worth wasting my time.
I liked the bit about Jesi. This exchange is from TV show “American Gods”
Mr. Wednesday: "You've got your White, Jesuit-style Jesus, your Black African Jesus, your Mexican Jesus, and your swarthy Greek Jesus."
Shadow: "That's a lot of Jesus."
Mr. Wednesday: "Well there's a lot of need for Jesus, so there is a lot of Jesus."
So it's even in American pop-culture.
