Toward Ecosophy

No doubt. On the other hand, a while back a modern dance troupe did a piece, Rise and Fall, which was explicitly inspired by my book The Long Descent (and credited the book on the program). I'm told by people I know who are into dance that it was really good, and you have to admit that the subject matter wasn't exactly likely to alienate me -- and yet I had the same reaction to it as to other dance performances.
