It's been a very busy month for me for podcasts, and here's another -- me on Greg Moffitt's podcast, Legalise Freedom. Greg and I spend a lively horu discussing my forthcoming book The King in Orange and the broader landscape of magical politics and general weirdness that has enveloped the United States for the last five years or so. That's a very interesting conversation. I can't wait for the book to be released. I have it pre-ordered as of right now. I was very quickly drawn to the populist MAGA movement but had trouble understanding quite a few things, such as the seeming meteoric rise of the movement and Trump's successful 2016 candidacy. I did perceive part of it being the working class finally rejecting the abusive and manipulative treatment by our elites. Having finally realized over the past year or two that the world is far more mysterious (and interesting) than commonly perceived by modern Westerners, I'm really looking forward to seeing the role that magic and the occult played in all this. It almost feels like scales have fallen from my eyes.

I'm very glad to hear that. If the same experience becomes a little more common, it'll be a lot easier to salvage useful things from the current mess.

I seem to remember one of your readers had compiled a list with links to all your podcasts....Any chance you can post it somewhere - permanently ?

It'd be great as a resource for everyone...maybe here or in the other blog...just like the Magic 101 / FAQ?

I don't currently have the cycles to make a full podcast page, but would add a link to it on my page if made its way to me. Note that I don't regularly haunt these comments, that whole time and available cycles thing.

Strangely, Legalise Freedom no longer seems to appear in the main podcast directories (I checked my Apple Podcasts app on my phone) - not just this episode. The whole podcast.

It's a pity because I much prefer listening on my phone to sitting on Youtube. I know for a fact I've heard JMG's earlier Legalise Freedom podcast(s) on my phone so I don't know what changed.

No surprises there. Online censorship of dissident views is becoming very, very common.

oh oh, is that some cancel culture in action?
the link to their website worked for me for the first half, and there might be more updated info there for the mobile options and/or the option to give him feedback/questions. I typically listing off of my notebook since it I have it all setup so nicely through my stereo system, so I haven't bothered with the 'official' pod-caste systems

For a while it was near impossible to find the website on Google. Not sure if it was a database issue or something more sinister. It appears to be back now but it was an excellent example of the power these companies have over information.

As for it not being on the main podcast directories, I'm not surprised. Ever since they kicked Alex Jones/Info Wars off their lists a few years back they have been slowly pruning the selection back to what is considered more desirable. I'm no fan of Jones/Info Wars but you could just see where it was all going from that moment on.

Side note : It has been a while since I had been through one of Legalise Freedom's podcasts, but I had forgotten just how funny Greg Moffitt could be. He has a way of being funny about some of the most grim topics that I just adore.

A coincidence?

Just yesterday I was thinking about how you have done a fair number of podcasts lately, and wondered when you would do another one with Legalise Freedom. And here it is. I regularly think of mostly innocuous things and they suddenly appear within a day or so. What is that? I have done this my entire life. For example, I will suddenly think of a song that I have not heard in a while, and there it is playing on the radio later that day or the next day, things of that nature. Perhaps this is a question more suited for Magic Monday...

Synchronicity is the term you're looking for. Try looking into Carl Jung's work. Start focusing on that and you'll realize it is incredibly common.
