night skyI posted the Capricorn ingress chart for the US to my SubscribeStar account earlier today, and apparently something went haywire -- it was allowing $5 a month subscribers to see it, but not $10 a month subscribers!  A good many of my readers dropped me messages about it, not surprisingly. I think I have it fixed, but if you have any further problems please let me know soonest. Ah, the joys of technology. :-(

As far as I know, the Patreon post is working -- if it's not, will someone please let me know?  Assuming that that's out of the way, I should have the Capricorn ingress chart for Britain up next week, and the others to follow. Then it's back to the Grand Mutation charts!

Remember when you would have to return something to a department store? The clerk’s fingers would flamenco over the cash register keys for 30 seconds , the drawer would pop open, she’d hand you your money.

Remember when you’d call a business, a nice lady would answer, hear your concern, and direct you to another nice lady who’d take care of it? No long list of simpleminded “options “ which never include your concern?

I’ve been the nice lady, and know quite a few others. The current Thing is that if she spends more than 2-3 minutes with a customer, she won’t work there long.

I’m a $10 subscriber and I had no problem viewing it about 30 minutes after it went up. One thing, though, is that the period of ingress shown is for the Aries ingress, not the Capricorn.

Moon separating from Neptune

"The separating conjunction with Neptune also suggests that the political classes have significant skeletons in their closet, and the risk that these will be revealed will be a constant issue for the years ahead."

Wait - what? I don't understand. How can a separating conjunction between the Moon and Neptune in a chart that is for 3 months have an effect that will last for years? What am I missing?

Hi JMG. Can you tell from the Biden and Trump natal charts that it's Biden not Trump who is about to walk face first into a buzzsaw?

I saw the Capricorn ingress last night as a Sun Watcher, it was nice to get some good news about the immediate future, after the ominous inauguration forecast.

Somewhat related: I'm planning to begin invoking planetary powers. In your experience, when faced with a nasty chart, is it better to 'go with the flow' and raise the power of planets that aren't doing so badly, or 'work against nature' and try to save an afflicted power from some of the impact--if only in your own life?

If I remember rightly, that is about essential dignities rather than aspects, isn't it?

I concluded from your advice on Magic Mondays that it is fine to do planetary charity where essential dignities are not good, but as I have Moon square Saturn I should not do workings for either of those, including planetary charity.

I had no issues with accessing this, so hopefully your fix has proved successful. Your first mention of the Grand Mutation has reminded me to mention the spectacular view of Jupiter and Saturn at twilight and early evening above the southern horizon. Apparently. they will appear closer together this year than any chronocrator conjunction since 1623! Somehow just gazing upon them helps me attune to the great turning underway. Mars is also incredibly bright in the eastern sky at the same hour.

Look, Up In The Sky

I've been watching them all since the middle of this summer, and the Moon too, quite the show. The Mars/Moon conjunction a couple months ago was great.

Nowadays I can see Jupiter and Saturn gradually drawing closer together as the Grand Conjunction approaches. It looks like Jupiter will be vertically *below* Saturn at that time (relative to the ecliptic).

By the way, the Moon moves *fast*! I looked at Moon conjunctions with the Jupiter/Saturn pair a couple of times this year. She'd be closer to Jupiter at 9 pm of an evening, and by midnight had moved closer to Saturn than Jupiter. The next night she'd be way on past them.

"A significant fraction of ordinary Americans will not benefit from the policies of the new administration and will face serious trouble due to changes in government policy that disadvantage them relative to other sectors of the population... Expect resentment and dissatisfaction to build as these changes begin to bite."

No surprises there, we're going to get more of the same pre-Trump policies that made life so horrible. Well politics of resentment it is then, if nothing else the 2024 elections are going to be very colorful and interesting.

Any changes in policy on issues such as working class wages, workers rights, free trade v protectionism, ect is going to be impacted by what happens in America's Shale Oil scene and the status quo on this is it's very dependant on the Quantitative Easing from the Federal Reserve and also more recently impacted by the Coronavirus and there's a possibility that the Shale Oil bubble (and it is definitely a bubble) could completly be gone by year 2025(Shale Oil wells only peak a year after been drilled and last at the most 3 years afterwards). An other possibility is a Biden administration may have worse than expected relations with Xi Jingpings Government in China and this could easily lead to another US/China trade war which will do harm to both Countrys.
