Toward Ecosophy

Good heavens -- thanks for this. It so happens that in the tentacle-fiction novel I'm currently working on, one of the characters plays a bagpipe. It's not the Great Highland pipes, but the smaller provincial French version called the cabrette ("little nanny goat"), like this:


Of course, given the theme of the story, you knew already that the player's friends jokingly refer to her instrument as la cabrette noire...
