smudge for the winWe are now in the fourth year of these open posts. When I first posted a tentative hypothesis on the course of the Covid phenomenon, I had no idea that discussion on the subject would still be necessary more than three years later, much less that it would turn into so lively, complex, and troubling a conversation. Still, here we are. Crude death rates and other measures of collapsing public health are anomalously high in many countries, but nobody in authority wants to talk about the inadequately tested experimental Covid injections that are the most likely cause; public health authorities government shills for the pharmaceutical industry are still trying to push through laws that will allow them to force vaccinations on anyone they want; public trust in science is collapsing; and the story continues to unfold.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry and its government enablers are causing injury and death on a massive scale. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its wholly owned politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you plan on making off topic comments, please go away. This is an open post for discussion of the Covid epidemic, the vaccines, drugs, policies, and other measures that supposedly treat it, and other topics directly relevant to those things. It is not a place for general discussion of unrelated topics. Nor is it a place to ask for medical advice; giving such advice, unless you're a licensed health care provider, legally counts as practicing medicine without a license and is a crime in the US. Don't even go there.

5. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

6. Please don't just post bare links without explanation. A sentence or two telling readers what's on the other side of the link is a reasonable courtesy, and if you don't include it, your attempted post will be deleted.

Please also note that nothing posted here should be construed as medical advice, which neither I nor the commentariat (excepting those who are licensed medical providers) are qualified to give. Please take your medical questions to the licensed professional provider of your choice.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

I've noticed a jump in such thinking – along with alarm and an increase in evangelizing in various viewpoints. Amongst other things, I had to thread the needle between a father (and wife) who wanted an oath to Trump from me and a mother who wanted me to join in her panic over Trump II (as a Trump-agnostic 3rd party voter, you MAY be surprised that I by and large succeeded.

"This month it seems like things in myself are more light, as if the usual obstacles have lost some of their gravity, or that my strenghth to counter it has grown."

Just wanted to add a quick data point that this matches my experience as well. Could just be that spring is here in earnest, of course, but still. After a bit of a dreary period I'm feeling "lighter in myself", like you said, and also more...peaceful is probably the best word, and at a sort of acceptance of the things I'm unhappy about but know will take time to change.

What a terrible thing to have happened to that person. That sounds to me like some kind of a stroke. I've seen that happen in some elderly people— one day to the next, unable to process basic information like, how to find the bank and where's the house? Also, fits of sudden and totally uncalled for public rage fits. And the lack of self-awareness many brain damaged people have with their personal grooming and dress can sometimes also be, well, remarkable. It seems it's a tell that something's the matter upstairs.

Yesterday in conversation a friend asked, what's going to happen to all the severely autistic people when they grow up and their parents pass away?

This is a familiar, if less common, bad vex outcome. I've known for years a fellow who was an Occupational Medicine nurse practitioner, in his mid-50's, former military, and still an elite athlete. He worked for an Occupational Medicine clinic (my main competitor), and was required to take the C19 vex in mid 2021 IIRC. He soon developed sudden onset, rapidly progressive dementia. Within a span of several months he went from normal health, to being no longer able to function as a nurse practitioner and was totally disabled from dementia.

My suspicion is that the shot promoted the development of prion disease, and that was the end of him.

Another group that is often unvaccinated is the children of some chiropractors, mostly those who align with a traditionalist philosophy and don’t concern themselves with “medical acceptance”.

And yet I can't exactly say why or for what reason... I came across this yesterday:
"There are three kinds of feeling. The lowest is passional. The highest is intuitional. Between them lies the emotional."
All I can say is that some part of me feels that the less involvement I have with them the better.

If educational departments are playing with using LLM bots to see if the can influence people, and if one considers that military have access to stuff long before it hits main street, it makes me pause and wonder what was deployed during the roll-out of covid.

JMG said: "I've seen repeated claims that some huge fraction of all internet traffic is produced by bots"

Week 197

Thank you, JMG, and thank you, forumistas.

This finds me hunkering down. Eating lots of red meat. Hours of walking in the lovely spring weather. It's taking me a lot of energy to stay grounded. Seems I'm managing.

People around me have been having the fantods. Dinner last night with old university friends from a big blue city. Heard another batch of health stories from our circles— for example, an aggressive and disfiguring skin cancer, an apparently soon to be fatal brain cancer, a case of severe IBS requiring hospitalization and then a month recovery time.

Between the salad and the main course one of my friends suffered an outburst of TDS, however it passed like a spring thundershower.

I'm not here to defend nor celebrate Trump, by the way. But the TDS in my world, unabated since its onset nearly a decade ago, is awesome to behold. It comes on suddenly, oftentimes seemingly from nowhere, and it involves expressions of extreme loathing and/or extreme fear, usually both. Fear of being arrested for some random reason, fear of censorship, fear of massive economic disaster (even if the speaker, at the same time, ardently hopes that the stock market will crash to show people how horrible Trump is). Israel this, Gaza that & etc & etc. Zilch about the covid jabs, though. Then, whoosh, the TDS is spent. Pass the pie.

Ochre Harebrained Crumudgeon,

Oh yes, I recognize this. I had a funny experience the other day. In a casual conversation, like thunder out of a blue sky, in came the blast of TDS. "Trump YAH YAH YAH YAH." I wasn't thinking about it, just said what popped into my head, and it was soothing words, as if to a child: "yes, yes, the bad orange man is very bad." And then I changed the subject.

I somewhat surprised myself by that. And I was a little worried that I might have insulted the other person by my tone, but, as far as I can tell, it seems not.

This isn't the forum to be getting into Trump, of course, but what I'm saying is, adults I have known all my life do not seem to me to acting entirely normally for them— still, after all this time.

vtranc— Thanks for sharing this. Seems it's a world wide phenomenon with the PMC. I've seen it in Europe, the US, and in Latin America— all in the big cities.

Like the covid jabs, stance seems to have much to do with social status and striving for same.

That their social status, or the social status they aspire to, is getting shaky, and it seems most don't entirely comprehend that. It's like there's this game they've finally figured out more or less how to play, but the rules have changed on them, and anyway the savvier players are moving to whole 'nuther board.

What does it mean to have taken 6 jabs? Not what it once did.

BREAKING: HHS to END COVID-19 Vaccine Recommendations for Kids & Pregnant Women
With over 600,000 estimated COVID shot deaths in the U.S., HHS moves to roll back CDC guidance—amid mounting criminal referrals, legislative efforts, and growing calls for a complete moratorium.
Nicolas Hulscher, MPH, May 15, 2025

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Trump administration—under the leadership of HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.—is preparing to end routine CDC recommendations that pregnant women, teenagers, and children receive COVID-19 vaccines. This decision, expected to be announced in the coming days, represents a long-overdue departure from current ill-advised CDC guidance, which still urges vaccination for everyone aged six months and older, including during pregnancy. I hesitate to invoke Chris-chan, but oh hell, why not? What's the worst that could happen, he says. Look for what happens to Chris-chan over the next few years, and you'll have your answer for what will happen to the rest of the severely autistic people. His mother who he depends on is almost gone from this realm.

I guess the 20th century started dark and got darker and darker and darker. I guess the difference this time around is it is also getting weird and weirder and weirder. Wark? Deird? Things will probably settle down around 2060 or so. One can only hope.

Not everyone is going to make it.

Yes, the sad fact is that the brain damage for most of the jabbees is extensive enough that they've lost any ability to put themselves in another person's shoes and think criticallly or objectively, so at best they just regurgitate whatever programming they've absorbed before, even as the facts on the ground have changed tremendously... it doesn't compute for them.

I've put this comment on one of Simplicius articles - that the Germans are quite deluded in thinking that once the Ukraine war is finished, Russia will happily resume cheap oil and gas supplies to Germany and everything will be back to normal quickly. They don't seem to understand that from a Russian point of view, they have lost at least a hundred thousand soldiers (killed or maimed seriously), civilians attacked randomly, terrorist incidents targeting large gatherings. Most of the weapons were supplied by the west, the targeting information provided by the west. Just a bit of common sense will tell you that there will be no easy forgiveness coming.

"A Note On Biotechs

There's a rather interesting thing that's happened in the sector -- across the sector -- since Trump's inauguration.

Stock prices in the sector have crashed; with many names down 50% or more, even among those firms with drugs that are in the approval pipeline with published positive results (that is, awaiting final FDA review.)

This is not the sort of thing you'd expect in a marketplace where reported results from trials are objectively correct. Certainly those firms with a dubious early record that are a "close" judgment call on their particular drugs being developed are one thing; it is the truth that most drug investigations fail.

But this is something different entirely in that the drubbings are pretty-much across-the-board.

This implies that the public markets are saying that the former way of doing business resulted in firms with drugs that were less than honestly reported as to results, or which were approved and thus the companies made money on them despite them not working or perhaps being unsafe."

*****************
One of the comments noted that even after approval, perhaps 4 out of 10 biotech drugs get pulled from the market when the side effects become too obvious to ignore. So people have been aware of the fraud going on , but FDA had been turning a blind eye and allowed the biotech firms to make some bank before telling them to pull the drugs.

Another comment noted that the new Arkansas law allowing over the counter VIM sales is no real biggie. It has been legally approved in Tennesee for a while, yet in reality the big chain pharmacies in Tn still refuse to sell VIM OTC, and the private pharmacies do price-gouging. So still better and more effective to rely on 'animal' supplies. That was interesting on the ground news to me.

Another comment pointed out that since even really high dose of VIM is not toxic, it means people using accidentally super high animal doses should be fine. Notice that MSM has kept surreptiously quiet about horse paste poisoning for quite a while now? Aka if there was even 1 real case, they would have blared about it 24/7. I find the whole situation irony... coz if people do end up end up taking higher doses then intended, they usually end up resolving other long-term issues unexpectedly.

Small anec-data - my wife is Type 2 diabetic... about 70kg and takes 5ml of liquid VIM + HCQ for just over a month. Her blood sugar numbers are now routinely in the high normal range (6's)... and if she takes the more natural supplements (berberine, curcumin), it can get to mid 5's. Even without exercise.... I'd ask her to curtail her daily walks/runs for a few days just to confirm that the effects is independant of exercise levels.

Here it is.

https://ecosophia.dreamwidth.org/tag/sphere+of+protection

The posts start with the latest, so the beginning post is at the bottom and the instructions cover it pretty well.

I finally started with it last January and I am seeing some subtle difference. It takes a bit of time but it does seem to work. If nothing else, I have noticed when those unhelpful trains of thought start it's a lot easier to take a pass. I've noticed a few other positive changes that have happened since then and do recommend it. Considering the way things are going these days every bit helps.

Edit to add, a re-read of Meditations is also looking like a good idea.

Ha, interesting hypothesis about the jabbees brain damage. I took it trough my circle of acquaintances and it does not confirm, I have seen the same frequency of insanity (adjusted for the smaller number of unjabbeed) on both sides of the foxx. I keep being reminded that the effects are being seen on a larger scale. How does one see a 5% rise of excess mortality rate in a village of 1200?
Still if there is brain damage as you said, and all the office fauna had to take the jab. Then all our bureaucrats are affected. And if effects are seen on a larger population sample. Yes, I could see it on a societal level.
My take was, that contrary to the “Great push of the Jab” where there was a positive narrative. Get the shot and the world will be sunshine on a beach again. This time there is no positive narrative, no token gesture to be made to make the implications of the situation go away. So, I think, most are in a state of brittle denial.

As for Russian forgiveness, something like this lense is what I use every time the media comments on Putin’s behaviour with the peace talks. He’s done with nonsense.

Experience has taught me to never ignore that intuition or gut feeling even if it doesn't make sense. This gauntlet of gaslighting regarding covid also drove home I have no obligation to explain myself either. Trying to explain an intuition can sometimes just give the other person hooks to talk me into doing the wrong thing. Don't ever argue with crazy even if it makes me look like the crazy one.

I would not be surprised if it comes out later that they were using LLMs for the covid propaganda. That would explain how so many went all invasion of the body snatchers during the whole thing. Now I'm wanting to start putting Phillip K. Dick novels in the sociology section at the library.

Agreed the internet looks to be going into a slow death spiral. Perhaps an idea for short fiction could be about the last online merchant to stay in business selling 'what would the Amish do?' shirts and stickers.
