Thank you for your toughts, this issue has been on my mind for a while. Maybe it could partly be that many of the popular alternatives to the western mainstream religion are also mainstream religions, but people dont see it because the traditions in question are from foreign cultures? Maybe the esoteric traditions from those cultures would fare better?
Discursive meditation sounds interesting, how do you systematize it? What would be a good wtitten source for this? One of your books?
